Hi all… so I’m certainly out, second negative test confirming this morning. No AF until 20th but I just know she’s on her way. So no mini moon baby for us 🤣 can’t help but think my sickness bug ruined all possibilities but I won’t think like that much longer.

We have a school moms night out tonight so I wanted to make sure I was being sensible and can now enjoy a guilt free drink or two… I am a little bit more gutted this second test. But onwards and upwards as they say.

I cannot find the thread for the January group yet. But I’ll have a scroll back! 🥰 I’ll likely be using my OPK next month to make sure I’m doing this thing right …

Hi all, I can't believe I'm back on a thread but here I am. We conceived in October but unfortunately I had a missed miscarriage and had to have medical management to get things started. I passed everything on the 30th November and my bleeding stopped last week on the 9th December. I'm not convinced I'll ovulate so soon afterwards but nevertheless, I had so much ewcm at the beginning of this week and it felt like such a waste to ignore it so we dtd, albeit only once, and I'm now here waiting for af to arrive around Boxing Day. Good luck to all those still waiting and congrats to the bfps! X

Morning ladies.. I know how much we all love a good 'is it positive' test - so here's my lateral flow covid test... Is it positive with a faint line 😂

@lottieb92 yeah I've got a rotten cold so maybe it's triggered the LFT.. Booked in for a pcr at 1pm 🤞🏻 it's a negative and Christmas can continue as normal

Sorry to those of you who've got AF/BFNs now, I really was and still am holding out hope for another BFP or two before Christmas.

@AmberRH1993 oh noooo! Another of our ladies with Covid! How are you feeling? I hope it doesn't give you a rough ride. I'm afraid if a lat flow is pos then your PCR is highly likely to be, too. Please take it easy!

@Cruz86 what can I say? I am just so so sorry. MCs are so so cruel (I know). I hope you're not over on the conception bords for too long. Please look after yourself

@Squiff70 I've just got a rotten cold really but only the pcr will tell.. Starting getting symptoms on Wednesday and it's so funny because I had covid on the same week last year 😆

But with ttc here's me still hoping I caught it because my immune system is low for implantation 😂😂

@AmberRH1993 I’m so sorry to see the covid test! I would def get a PCR but I would probably assume it’s covid regardless of the PCR. lateral flow tests rarely give false positives but getting false negative PCR test is more likely. I wouldn’t want to risk giving it to others over Xmas. And a bad cold is often how covid can present!

I haven’t really been on this thread as I’ve joined the January one but just was doing a scroll back to see what’s been going on!

@Cruz86, I'm ok - each cycle has been cursed with poor timing from work to norovirus... this cycle is a bit weird because despite all of that, I had a CP in November. Now isolating with covid (one of many) but think I ovulated just as I was getting sick so my TWW is basically aligned with my self-isolation. Can't wait to get rid of 2021 tbh.

Feeling guilty about, well, everything is super normal right now. I'm so sorry. Be really really kind to yourself - there's no right or wrong way to feel. ❤❤❤❤❤

Prettty certain I'm out now, bfn again this morn at 11dpo and seems like af is making an early appearance this evening Ineed to stop obsessing so much so hopefully the distraction of Xmas and new year will get me through the next cycle slightly more sane!

@Cruz86 please don't feel guilty. If the time feels right to try again you must take it without feelings of guilt. There are absolutely no right or wrong answers to TTC after loss, none, and if you want to go for it then hold your head high. After we lost twins at 19 weeks we waited I think three months before TTC again. We wanted to try a bit sooner but fear put us off. You're not alone

@BabyBird20 sorry about the BFN - it might still be a day or two early? If not then I hope you enter 2022 with renewed confidence and passion.

@Squiff70, thanks for checking in. Am totally recovered! Thanking my 2 vaccinations and my booster, with a high five for my immune system. Just bored for another 3 days of isolation and then woop am freeeeee. Amazingly neither my daughter nor my partner seem to have caught it... yet. 🤞🤞🤞

Thanks @Squiff70, I'm feeling incredibly hormonal today, very heavy in my abdomen and some bright red spotting which I assumed was af but hasn't appeared in full yet! I'm due sometime between tomorrow and weds as my cycles usually vary from 28 to 33 days and I am on day 28 today. Would love to wake tomo with no signs of af and the hope that it could be ib but trying not to get my hopes up and keep it real!

I don't know much about ib but does it usually happen earlier after ovulation?
