I don't know. Not even a week into November and sadly some are out for this month.

If you're dreaming of a white Christmas and you're definitely on Santa's NAUGHTY list, this is the one for you. Not a December bus but a December SLEIGH!

So go Dasher, go Dancer, go Prancer and Vixen! We don't want you to bring us those toys. Please stuff our stockings full of BFP joy!

@Nico89 If you don't get your BFP before then, then Christmas Day is definitely time to snuggle up and enjoy some alone time I reckon! I don't envy you working nights all through Christmas though. Are your colleagues doing similar shifts? My DP is working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 27th and NYD too. Utterly rubbish shifts considering he works practially every Christmas but then his boss who does the rotas is an absolute cowbag.

@beckybabyx oh absolutely. I'm truly hoping for some Christmas magic on this thread and that it will produce as many BFPs as the Lucky October and Remember November threads!

Massive congratulations on your wedding Mrs @lottieb92! I'm so glad it went as you had planned. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you testing just before Christmas Day! How exciting :) I think Winter or Christmas weddings are very romantic. Bet it was beautiful!

@rainbowzebra05 that looks promising! How long have you been TTC? Maybe test again in a couple of days? Hopefully those lines will get stronger :)

Hi @Mummytobe93. Sorry about your BFN! It might just be too early. When is AF due?

@MindZGap glad it seems it's not Covid making you so unwell. There are some very nasty coughs, colds and viruses doing the rounds (doctors suspect it's partly because we were largely protected from them last Winter due to lockdowns and mask wearing etc). Fingers firmly crossed if you decide to test in the next day or two. Equally hope you feel better very soon!

@Squiff70 AF due either Saturday or Sunday… I suppose it’s because there’s so many early BFPs on mumsnet that I wanted one too😪😂

@Squiff70 I am the designated night nurse so just me and an assistant if I'm lucky overnight. But there are other staff working during the days. We are a 24 hour veterinary hospital so always staff on site x

CD 15 and no real ecwm. It keeps starting, then stopping. No idea when I will ovulate 🤦‍♀️. My wonderful child gave us a nasty virus from daycare, then started projectile vomiting yesterday, so we’re scared we have a 2nd bug. Aside from that I’m having strangely vivid dreams along with cramps, and feel sick (likely all 2 year old caused from the plague found 2). Definitely not pregnant. Tentatively Putting my hand up for the weird cycle this month Club...

@Squiff70 yep for my sins. I've been doing it for around 15 years now.

AF now late/later than expected. Cycle has been around 28 days and I'm now CD30 but I'm too frightened to test Sad how silly is that?! I'm so worried that I'm just going to get a BFN and then still be waiting for AF in the weird cycle club, also slightly afraid to get a BFP and it end in a CP. My anxiety is ridiculous at the moment

@Squiff70 it's hard to say, oh has a really low libido (sorry for TMI!) so we've not been using protection for 6m but I'm lucky if it's been once a month. In that time we've had 2 chemicals though and both children were conceived on the first month of trying so I'm hoping it's an indication of higher fertility so that the lax BDing will be somewhat offset!

@madeleine85 if your body fails to ovulate it will try again a day or two later which might be why your symptoms come and go like that. Hope your little one is better ASAP and that they don't pass said bugs onto you!

@Nico89 I'm offering a gentle handhold if you decide to test. I know what you mean about not being able to face a BFN, but it might not be. Do you have any tests in the house?

@rainbowzebra05 no such thing as TMI here :) So sorry about your CPs. I had two also, before my second set of twins were conceived. They are crushing to say the least. Hopefully though, the BDing you're doing will result in a healthy pregnancy very soon.

@Squiff70 I have a FRER stashed in the cupboard and some cheapies.

I have horrible nausea today but I wonder how much of it is anxiety. I had a tiny bit of brownish discharge 2 days ago which I thought was AF on her way. And I have mild cramps with occasional stabbing / sharp pains. The cramping seems to have maybe got a bit worse this evening so I think AF will arrive by the morning but if not i might be brave and test. I'll be 12dpo

I'm 5DPO today and it's DRAGGING even though I'm busy!

Picked up some tests so going to test tomorrow, will let you guys know how it goes...

I'm VERY bloated and have been for 2-3 days. I'm certain it can't be a sign. More likely because I've been raiding the Christmas choccies.

How many DPO are you?

Haha I feel you on the Christmas choccies @Squiff70 I'm trying anything to cheer myself up at the moment.

Think I'm about 10DPO and AF due Friday/Saturday. I haven't been feeling hugely hopeful this cycle - not for any logical reason, just doesn't feel likely somehow. Whereas in some previous cycles I've been totally convinced. Although I did notice my mind go "what if I have a tiny fetus inside me" earlier ha.

@Squiff70 it turned into a full on stomach bug for both me and dh. And of course today my ovulation really kicks off 🤦‍♀️. I just tested now when I could stand up long enough without puking. I think I’m out of the December train unless I really have the most willing husband ever (but he is stupidly sick just now). I’ll likely be seeing a few of you for a New Years thread (hoping not many) but wishing everyone Santa’s baby dust xx

On a positive note thought my cycles seem to be regulating and ovulation on day 17 is better in my mind than 20/21 I was having the first 2 tries.

Hiya ladies could I join please? AF came today I think a chemical pregnancy as had so many positives on different tests but is what it is, my fertile window should be around 23rd-27th. I had a MMC in September at 12 weeks and D+C on 01.10 since then this will be my first cycle tracking etc, how are you all? I'm off Christmas shopping today so now I know I'm out a few Proseccos will be consumed haha!

I had a BFN this morning at about 11DPO. AF due Friday so will just have to wait and see what happens. Meanwhile I've still got a rotten illness that's been going on 10 days.

If I'm out then I should be ovulating again around 23-27 as well, very festive 😁

I didn’t test this morning as I got BFN yesterday 😪

I’m 9/10 DPO today, I feel like AF is just around the corner- I’m super cold (slept in my dressing gown!) and I’m having some v mild cramping

I’m hoping there’ll be plenty of BFPs in this thread! Either that or we’re going to drive our DHs crazy over the festive period 😈😂🎄

I'm sorry @Mummytobe93 sounds like we are in the same boat, AF waiting for us both. Praying she stays away but if not then yes bring on the festive DTD and at least we can enjoy ourselves for a few more weeks

Tested last night, but late in the day and no urine hold /fluid restriction and on a cheapy 10miu sensitive test..don't really know why I did it if I'm honest.

But then worked out that if the 2 days of spotting before my period last cycle don't count as cycle days then I'm only CD29 and not CD31?! which means AF may still arrive today and I'm not technically late for me yet. My cycle is usually between 27 and 31 days.
Anyone know what the advice is on spotting directly before AF, should this be counted as CD1 or not until its proper flow?

My luteal phase is consistently only 10 or 11 days and I'm now 12dpo..but I have been taking vitamins this month to try and lengthen it to hopefully icrease my chances of a successful pregnancy so maybe that's what is happening.

Had the spotting Sunday so if no sign of AF by tomorrow morning I will test as per calendar as will be 13dpo and 4 days after what may or may not have been IB.

I hate this limbo bit where I'm not testing positive but AF is awol

@Nico89, as a spotter par excellence I can assure you that spotting doesn't count as AF. You want red blood flow for CD1. Does that help or hinder your calculating for this cycle? 😉

In other news, just had my COVID booster and have had EWCM yesterday and today... which is CD9 and 9 OR CD16 and 17 depending on how you count round my CP bleeding.

To be honest, I feel exactly like I did in my cycle after the MMC - I think my body is trying to ovulate but is all over the shop.

Going to DTD when the mood strikes but mainly waiting for the New Year bus and hoping Pfizer doesn't cause cycle havoc.

At some point, I'll have an uncomplicated cycle on a month we can properly jump Jim and I'll be able to symptom spot with the best of you during the TWW! One day, one day...
