Hello everyone ✨🎉

I’m starting a November thread after being unsuccessful this month, got some spotting so probably cycle day 1 for me today, with fertile window being in the first week of November.

Please join me if you’re as hopeful about fresh cycle as I am!

My main goal is to DTD more, we definitely didn’t make the most of it in October …
I’m therefore going to be 100% honest with DH that we need to get down to business this cycle.

PS. Hope you like the title 🙈😂😂

@HRHXO and @beckybloomwood11 this happened to me on my last cycle and I put it down to Pregnacare tablets as I’ve been regular for years and years, but I started taking them and my cycle was 3 days late.

So if you’ve been taking those, it could be them?

Mummytobe93 · 07/11/2021 09:01

Apparently it’s fine @Decaffe, some women ovulate at CD6, I think if the egg was released it means if was mature enough. And it only takes one sperm so you did DTD at the right time 😉
I’d keep checking the OPKs for couple of days to make sure it stays low. How long are you cycles on average?

@Firsttimetrier I've not taken pregnacare but had had seven seas! Although I've been terrible with remembering to take them so not had one everyday 😬 just want AF to show so we can focus on a new cycle!

Mumof2ttc · 07/11/2021 09:56

Hi, I'm trying to conceive my third child. I came off the implant on the 14th of October. I'm now experiencing nausea, sore boobs and very veiny, my stretch marks on my stomach have also went dark purple (they were barely visible before) is this a pregnancy symptom I've never heard of it!

Would love to hear of other people's experiences coming off the implant, how long did it take you to get your BFP.

Has anyone had the stretch mark symptom before?

ohmybaby · 07/11/2021 11:28

Thanks @mummytobe93 going to try and minimise stress… it’s cycle 5 for us and DD was conceived cycle 2, I know it’s still early days but I’ve been a bag of nerves that something is off and stopping us conceiving….

Anyway positive vibes! I’ve been trialling ovulation tests and I don’t think they’re working for me, either that or I’m a prat and don’t get them 😂 I’ve had EWCM last 3 days, DTD 3 days ago and planning to do it again today, this morning had quite a bit of pink/bloody CF and noticed a tiny bit last night so think I may have ovulated already and missed my peak/surge. Hoping that if we DTD ASAP today that the egg will stick around long enough to be conceived, either that or fingers crossed 2 days ago did the trick! 😬

See what I mean… stress head 😭😅

@xoxo321 glad you got your peak reading eventually! How far off were they with the app prediction?

I'm 8dpo today, was very irritable yesterday evening, and generally just sad. Maybe just a bit overtired, who knows. I'm having light cramps since two days as well, but that could be unrelated to TTC of course.

How is everyone else holding up so far?

Capricorn8990 · 07/11/2021 12:26

Heya all 💕

Just wanted to share my experience. I DTD 2 days before and a day before I ovulated. I started a new job on the day of ovulation and was preoccupied so didn't symptom spot or test early. Got my first covid jab a week after my ovulation and I was late by 2 days when I decided to test but thought it was the covid jab that had messed up my cycle. I tested and to my disbelief but intense emotional excitement it was a clear BFP!

I was getting so stressed regarding TTC and this month I just stopped obsessing over it so much and was more relaxed.

I'm now around 5 weeks pregnant but as this is my first pregnancy I'm beyond anxious. I have OCD and keep thinking the worst.

I'm getting pulling pains deep in my tummy towards my lady area and cramping like I'm going to get my period but this is on and off. I'm so tired and nauseas and sometimes dizzy.

Is this normal? I read the stretching and pulling sensation is quite normal to accommodate baby.

I've sent for an app with a midwife. Hopefully that comes soon!

Baby dust to all xxx

Peonies94 · 07/11/2021 12:31

So I’ve had positive on IC OPKs and clear blue OPK so think ovulation day is coming! I don’t however have any EWCM or my typical overy pain which I have during ovulation, so I’m not quite sure if my body is actually ovulating! I’ll continue to test to keep an eye! This is super early for me to ovulate as I’m only CD15 and usually I ovulate around CD30-35! So I’m about to enter TWW but also I’m going to continue DTD every other day, and testing with OPKs just incase this isn’t actually ovulation! Anyone else about to enter/just entered TWW?

Thanks @xoxo321I’ll keep going!! Lots and lots of luck to you xx

According to Flo I’m not due to ovulate until tomorrow, so who knows! We’re going to DTD daily for the next few days just to give it as good a shot as we can. Not easy with a 2yo around!!

@Capricorn8990 huge congratulations! I had the EXACT symptoms you have with my DD at 5 weeks and she’s a happy healthy 2yo now. I understand and can relate to debilitating OCD and intrusive thoughts - please don’t suffer in silence, talk to those closest to you. If it helps at all, it sounds bang on normal and healthy.

Capricorn8990 · 07/11/2021 13:29

@ohmybaby thank you so much! That's a relief to know. I've been Googling what I can and cannot eat and decided to just follow the NHS guidelines otherwise I'll drive myself mad.

I speak to my partner but neither of us have experienced this before and I'm trying not to get too excited about things just in case.. I'm such a catastrophic thinking person which I'm trying to work on and stay calm. We've not told anyone but I really want to speak to my older sister!

How're things going for you? Xx

Squiff70 · 07/11/2021 13:37

Many congratulations @Capricorn8990! I understand your anxities and trust me, they are normal. Try not to catastrophise and keep things real, one day at a time. This is good news - try to enjoy it! If telling your older sister may bring you some comfort it's definitely worth considering!

Capricorn8990 · 07/11/2021 13:41

@Squiff70 thank you so much. I get so irrational with my thoughts! I hope I won't be a stressed mum 🤯🥺 I'll consider it for sure xx

Peonies94 · 07/11/2021 14:09

@xoxo321 I haven’t managed to cover this cycle as much either, as we have been attempting SMEP but missed our one day we missed I thought would be fine as it was super early into my typically really long cycle, but then .. positive OPK come early, and I hadn’t DTD much! I did then cover my positive OPK day, but before that was 3 days before, so not sure that’s enough, we’ll see!

@xoxo321 ahh you could have covered it then! Looks like we’ll be entering TWW together! How many cycles on are you? Do you have children already?

Peonies94 · 07/11/2021 17:20

@xoxo321 ahh same!! Literally the same! Cycle 3, but also only the second one properly tracking, as first was just figuring things out! My first child also!

Yeah it’s normal, your peak can last a few hours and then drop again! Some people see a gradual drop others see a complete drop! It’s important to hold urine for 4 hours and not drink too much though, so not to get false negatives! If you had your peak today, your probably due to ovulate tomorrow I think! It’s usually 12-36 hours after peak! If you are able to DTD today, you could definitely get it covered!

Peonies94 · 07/11/2021 17:22

I had my peak today too, so I’m on the same dates as you I think! I will continue to test though just because my cycles are so irregular so this may not be actual ovulation for me, so I am going to try and DTD every few days for the next week or so!

@xoxo321 ahh no, it’s typical Isn’t it! Hope you feel better soon and manage to cover it! Yes it’s great having people in similar situations!

@xoxo321 ahh it’s so hard to not let it annoy you isn’t it! You never know though, it only takes that one time, and it can happen up to 5 days before ovulation! Give tomorrow a go if you can, as you may still be okay!
