I’ve been busy…. We made it away!!! Had a few days in London for NYE and then flew out to Egypt on New Year’s Day (with the WORST hangover 🤣) I managed to let my hair down a bit!!

We arrived in Egypt to the worst storm they’ve had in years! Everything was flooded, power out, total carnage!! Utterly hilarious!!

It’s totally what we need, a few emotions have peaked and I’ve had a little meltdown but I think that’s needed to let it all go and try to move forward with a different headspace this year (I’m with you @PeanuttyButter 😘)

@Annny27 yup…. Fertile week! I’m not tracking anything being away but you always still know right?! 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️
But being away from home always puts us waaaay more in the mood (it does everyone I guess 🤪) so plenty of BD’ing… probably too much but I’m not gonna overthink this one!!
I’m out here for the whole TWW with AF die the day before I fly home so no testing, going with the flow and enjoying myself!!

Today couldn't give me more relief. I haven't been checking ovulation for months. I randomly did one about 4 months back and I was ovulating but had a fear that I've stopped. Well I've never been happier when I w tested today and got a clear opk positive!

Not only that but in my whole TTC journey this is the first month my boyf has been home and available for BD for the whole entire month. He works away and usually at this point he'd be somewhere around the country grafting but this week he's working local so is home every night. Feeling so positive and happy for a change. I agree with @PeanuttyButter mindset change. I feel this is the first month where I've done ovulation tests and not felt over whelmed! Im not going to test early either well we will see 🤣

Ahhh it’s so lovely to hear positivity from so many of you! I think drawing a line under 2021 has made a big difference for so many of us ❤️❤️

This trip is doing me the world of good…. Me and OH have had so much time to really talk things through - big, full on, emotional things - and it’s brought us closer and cleared away a lot of the pain for sure!!
I realised this morning that I’d passed my predicted OV yesterday and hadn’t even been totally aware 🤣
We’ve BD’d crazy lots 🤣 holiday relaxed mode!! Probably way too much - I’m sure there’s no way he could be pumping out quality chaps that frequently 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but it’s been nice to have sex for us rather than just trying to make a baby.
It would, of course, be epic to get pregnant on this trip but even if we don’t I know we’ve already achieved so much ❤️❤️

Is anyone testing soon? Really hoping to see some good news!!! 😁😁

Would love to see one soon too... never had a real positive since I gave birth despite having periods...

@SunnySideUp2020 thanks I cannot get excited at all until I no where my it's located.. no pain like last the last 2 ectopics I had last year I am just cramping loads but not in one location xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 ofc i totally understand the cautious approach. Will you be able to get a scan to check the location of the sac at least?
But this is a victory lovely! A BFP is amazing!
When i had cramps in pregnancy my MW always told me to take magnesium supplements and rest.

@SunnySideUp2020 I am shaking it's mental the year I had my consultant told me I would be pregnant after my lap and dye surgery.. it's like mild cramps I had so much stabbing pains last night.. I cannot tell anymore yet I am too scared.. I am aloud to self refer to the epu due to last year so called them and just done an email for them they will call me to book my appointment in I am only 12dpo xx

@Kelb79 just been really worried I haven't been but this month I've actually tracked. I know what you mean about having sex just to try it's nice to have a relaxed time.

@SunnySideUp2020 I was buzzing when I saw in back a few months ago but then been nervous ever since. First month in a year I've tracked for a whole month so to know I'm ovulating I'm happy!

@apwilso best thing I did was stop tracking brought some of that conceive plus lube and went for it all over Xmas rather annoyed spent a silly amount on bras and yep none will actually fit now can't even send back as I ripped the tags off 🙈 xx

@Kelb79 I only used it because I don't get much ewcm I am it's like dust down there 🤣 I also heard spit and normal lube isn't great for the swimmers it's a lovely lube to use.. I hope so too I am not excited yet until I get its placement.. I have done my referral to the epu so hopefully will hear back tomorrow I am luck I can self refer due to my previous ectopics and my consultant wrote it on my last letter.. xx
