TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

@Minster2012 ha I'm starting to get the hang of it again 🤣 it does help that he's such a good baby. Wasn't expecting that after the pregnancy from hell 🤦‍♀️🤣. Periods calmed right down thank god cos I couldn't deal with that every month 😅. Been nosing on ur insta and god ur busy 🤣🤣. I'm starting to redecorate in here as well now just because this is what I do 🤷‍♀️ I get fed up quickly 🤣🤣 although not changing my blue kitchen cos I love it and also cos my microwave, coffee machine etc is all blue to match so would end up costing a fortune lol. I know how much u love blue so will attach a pic 🤣🤣

Bad news for me unfortunately, HCG only increased from 46 to 67 so it's definitely not doubling. The EPU nurses are waiting for the doctor to review my results and then they'll ring me with a plan of what's going to happen next 😭

@Aims1991 it's miu btw and not ml - in case you go googling and can't make sense of it. FRERs detect as low as 6.5miu so at 12dpo there's a chance your 25miu isn't sensitive enough to detect it yet. I would however say that it is unlikely... :(

No news here. CD21. We DTD every second day from day 12 to yesterday (was in my parents' house the weekend before so couldn't start before day 12 unfortunately) in case the jab delayed ovulation.

I didn't track anything this month so to be honest I have no idea where I'm at. I decided to take it handy this month because next cycle I start letrozole and follicle tracking and all that.

After a few months of hopelessness I've gone back to thinking maybe I will get pregnant even though I may not even ovulate. I will be crushed in approximately a week's time more than likely!

@Lexber I never cook anyway, so I can't complain really, but Friday lunch DH is working so I'll have to fend for myself

Sorry I haven't been keeping up, I'm STILL in the ICU and starting to get very angry about it. My blood pressure was under control yesterday and it has started increasing todayahisn tao they won't release me onto the ward. I still can't see my baby whilst all this is going on as it's 'too dangerous to transport me in this state in case I get upset and I'm away from the medics'. So her daddy is trying to be there for me and her and its just breaking my heart. The midwifes just keep trying to be nice and telling me not to worry, it's only temporary, but they're not the ones missing their little girl's firsts. I want to be the person who put on her new baby grows, who cuddles her to sleep and sings to her, and the one who feeds her. I'm trying to express still and I'm told I'm doing well (get about 50ml a session) but I just feel like I'm failing her.

I have anxiety anyway and I'm really worried it's starting to spiral out of control as I can't stop crying, I just feel so helpless.

Alice is doing well we keep being told, but no one is giving us a clear picture of what she needs to achieve in order to be sent home so that's causing me mega problems worrying about that.

DH never talks about his feelings, says he is fine and coping well, but he's panicking about needing to sort stuff out for work for his paternity leave and he has now booked this for starting on 31st August and it feels like at this rate I'll still be here and so will Alice...

Sorry to go on a pity party rant but I'm just so fed up now. I was told I'd be discharged to the ward this morning now I'm being told I've got to stay here and I'm physically so well there's literally nothing wrong with me!!!!

I think it's a good sign you're getting angry @Kirky658 - means you're stating to feel better. I can only imagine how you're feeling and how much you're missing her. Not in the same league but I couldn't really hold DS for good 8 hours or so after giving birth as I was shaking too hard from drugs and it was hard for a few weeks but 2 years on all that is forgotten.

Is there someone that DH will open up to? I can imagine he doesn't want to stress you out anymore so may not want talk to you?

Also maybe there's some knowledgeable mumsnetters outside of this bus who can advise on prem births and the right questions to ask?

Thanks everyone 🥰 I spoke to the nurse in EPU and I have to go in tomorrow to see the consultant and have more bloods and a scan (although I'd have thought it was too early, I'm only 4+3?) as they're concerned it could be ectopic due to me having Endo which is a risk factor apparently. Then they'll decide whether to watch and wait and monitor me with repeat bHCG bloods and scans to see if I miscarry naturally or give me the methotrexate injection if they decide it's ectopic
