TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

I wanted to update you guys since venting here a couple of weeks ago really helped me a lot. My MC is finally over and I'm feeling mostly ok. I'm counting down the days until I go away for a few weeks because I think it'll do me good mentally. I've decided to wait for AF before TTC again, maybe unnecessary? Not sure. But either way I'd like to keep eavesdropping on the bus!

Bit of late night rambling for me.. sorry I've failed to keep up this bus it's been rather hectic. . Been alot of ups and downs and stress crying ( wish I could blame hormones) but finally we just waiting on confirmation tomorrow and maybe able to move my dad to a care home 15 min away on Monday! And currently waiting on a date for an interview for a job! ( For a travel passenger helping kids with special needs get to school) still cd 40 here and no sign of AF. Fridays bloods not back yet, and got more again this Friday. OH has been amazing and so has MIL listening to all my ramblings. I may be absent a bit longer but I'll be back shortly. Hope your all hanging in there and keeping your chins up, tomorrow is a new day ☺️

@GuessHowMuch another one for cd2, I'm not thinking Covid will go much when schools go back I'm afraid 😔my knee is painful and now my back is shooting pain too (don't know if it's period pain or from compensating for my knee??) I've got my parents coming today to help me to try allow me to do less as they can help with the toddler but there's still moving stuff to do

@bez91 the house is 1952, so 50's but I think the kitchen was done 20 years ago. I have emma Bridgewater plates so they are big I guess but I was wandering round yesterday with a (not large) bottle of red wine vinegar and it was too tall for all but one shelf. It's ridiculous!! First world problem right there 😂. On the MC counselling mine just went "so how you feeling" and it kinda went from there, but it was v soon afterwards

Also I hate to break it to you @Minster2012 but I have just voluntarily painted blue on my house walls...! Xmas - my family are quite hard work. Its been better recently as my parents are abroad so not here every xmas! But was never allowed to see people other than my family from 24th - 26th, we all had to be in the same room at all times, sounds pathetic really but became not very enjoyable over the years! Hoping to break how I feel about it by doing my own thing with DS!

@Juno231 they are all on the hfea website. The bad bits are all listed right at the bottom if you just want a summary. I also read through some older ones to get a balanced view. Interestingly one of the clinics had patients there on each occasion for them to talk to. The other one conveniently didn't? 🤣 Its hard because you can only read into things and make guesses but it's interesting to see what they check. I also think it's interesting to see that a clinic can have a significant failing on its latest report yet still have a full star rating? 🤷‍♀️
@Franklydear we've got 2 spare rooms. One is light grey and blue and the other is a neutral colour and dusky pink! We have all bases covered. 🤣

MC counselling was pretty good. CD15 today, no sign of ov appearing anytime soon 🤦🏼‍♀️ which I'm p*ssed about as DH has already said he thinks his 🍆 is going to fall off as we've gone all out this month 😩 🥳

@bez91 Thursday if they got ovulation right. But could be tomorrow night in my calculations. I've been taking double progesterone though so she said it might delay it. I'm going to stop though, so maybe it'll come on time.

Hi! I know it’s been ages, sorry. I’ve had my head in the sand about fertility stuff tbh and have just kept plodding on with work and crap tv! Kittens as cute as ever. They are now going out and exploring and are loving it

My SIL got married last week and it was so nice to have a good few days with family. We were able to see lots of them for our niece’s christening in July but seeing them is always so fun! It was an amazing wedding . DH’s uncle did ask me at the wedding breakfast if I was “broody yet” which pissed me off rather! He has said some equally insensitive things before though so he does have form, although good at heart.

I had an nhs gynae appt today which I thought was going to be totally pointless(but had to go through the motions as my gp is useless) but it was actually pretty good. Dr was lovely and backed up that we shouldn’t have to wait a year of trying for further investigations because of my endo, and they will refer us to the fertility clinic. So that’s not yet done, but it feels like some progress. My GP had previously said I had to wait another year(year from surgery in May) to be referred to fertility so hospital gynae proved that as bollocks . So apparently they will arrange all the tests either directly or via GP and then go from there which is good. Never got round to getting the bloods done due to surgery, being away and work(have to go to massive hospital with big queues) so apparently best now to wait for them to organise it. It felt good to have someone acknowledge that our chance of conceiving naturally is a lot lower than normal and to be starting the next steps. We will obviously keep trying just in case! 7dpo now.

Been thinking of you guys a lot and hoping everything is going ok. Have enjoyed seeing Minster pop up on insta! 💜

@paintfairy we gave the big room to ds and painted it light blue, and he wasn’t spending any time there, so swapped again, he now has his Chelsea red, bold boy, we couldn’t be bother painting again so left it blue

Well our dog had a little girlfriend round tonight and by the tie they had hopefully there'll be another litter soon! Then there's two more lined up that we're just waiting to come into season! I forgot to update you all with the house too, the pictures looked really good but a house round the corner from us, that isn't anywhere near as nice went up for more money than ours, with a different estate agents, so we rang the ones we've gone with and explained and suddenly they jumped the price up by 10k?? I mean we aren't complaining but why didn't they do that in the first place, so we're signing off on the pics tomorrow so house should be up for sale in the next few days, in the mean time dream house price has been reduced so just hoping and praying ours sells quick and we can put an offer in on that, all stress and go! We've decided to sack the last minute holiday off and do a nice date night on bank holiday, going to go into Manchester for food and drinks, I've ordered a few outfits and I actually can't wait!!

@Vil10 I will try not to, and they promised clean up tomorrow, but as it is I couldn’t cook without cleaning the kitchen, so if it isn’t, MacDonald’s it will be!

Call me spoilt though as I had the luxury of having designed my own last time so YES I designed a drawer that you pulled out for wine and OMG it's stunning and I will miss it (and a pull out oil and spice drawer next to the hob cos that's where it should bloody live)

We have a wedding on Saturday. 1pm til 1am. Usually that's fine. Except my knee in agony from moving too. Plus DH all like "you get pissed cos your cortisol means I'm not taking you to hospital on Sunday" he's right. I can't risk it. Tipsy it is. I can't wear heels atm so I'm annoyed. I can't dance. Trouble walking. So frustrated.
