TTC Bus 46 - where we're all off on our holidays (let's hope that means more BFPs - rubbish results for July!)

Mad scramble from the opposite side of the country to where I normally live to keep the bus running as @minster2012 still has connectivity issues. I'm on holiday in Suffolk with only limited signal so very likely to have missed people, particularly any newbies - it's not personal, I'm very sorry and in exchange I won't charge you for the ticket!

Here is the bus where anything goes, and chat isn’t just TTC it’s anything. Ranting very much encouraged to her things off your (are they sore boobs?!) chest. The last bus had loads of work promotions too & we’ve still got interviews so hopefully it’s a lucky bus in more ways than just making babies...let's hope this one has more BFPs and more house luck!

We are here to help and support each other & anything goes. We’ve had losses, heartache & some super fertile short ride passengers so welcome all.

That sounds a better outcome than you feared @Minster2012, have you booked yourself some physio? I was annoyed by the time the courier finally showed up at 16.30 (had to wait in all day) so not emotional! Managed to sort a couple of bits I needed a work computer for before it went so feel like today is first proper gardening leave day!

Hope you managed to get away @Vil10 the requirements confuse me. We're contemplating a break beginning of November, prob just book the week off then book last minute. Hope DH follows your instructions for photos 😆

Bad service winds me up @Franklydear DH always gets embarrassed that I can't chill the F out but it just really winds me up. Hope your break away improves.

@Minster2012 definitely she said she's optimistic because she has really bad sickness and she had HG with her little boy. I suffered with terrible symptoms after I knew baby was no more so didn't want to put a downer on it by telling her that, just told her I'd be there if it all went to shit. How did you explain to X that raw bacon isn't a good idea? He sounds a card 😆

@Minster2012 he's so small (well, 12kg) but he's very light and nimble. And he goes nowhere slowly. So all you here is him trotting about! We've got all hard floors. But obviously to be sick he manages to do it on the rug or his bed, or wherever else not wipeable. 🤦‍♀️

Hey ladies thanks for your kind wishes earlier. Midwife checked my BP x 3 times. It's sky high at 176/106 so I've been sent straight to MAU. On our way there now 😔 xx

It’s not great news from me I’m afraid, both embryos implanted but one looks to have given up a while ago, and the other has a heartbeat but I should be 7+6 and it’s only measuring 6+1, so I’ve to have another scan in a week at the EPU.

@larrythelizard I haven't booked any physio yet, I have a referral phone call with the knee Ppl tomorrow, then j guess they'll want to scan it to check what's going on. Though it feels a little stronger today I guess from resting it. Pleased you are now on proper gardening leave yeyyyy!

@bez91 yeah that's fair enough about not telling her, I think most ppl would do the same. I just said NOOOOOOOOOoooooo that will make you sick. As he ran the other direction. He prob then ended it waving it front of a dogs face hopefully he didn't eat much. What made me sick was I then made bacon sarnies for us both & he only ate 2 bites of his before throwing that to the dog not giving it to me! So annoying

I'm just back from my appointment at the fertility clinic. They found my husband's sperm and it was all good so that's a relief.

She's given me a prescription for petrology and a booster shot and she's going to do follicle tracking next cycle.

She said with my BMI being normal and having a (fairly) regular cycle and his sperm being good we should be positive enough so I really hope this works for us.

I have no idea what petrology is but autocorrect seems to like it. Letrozole is what I was trying to say!

So pleased they found DH’s sperm @Somatronic! Maybe they ‘looked’ in the fridge the same way my dad does…
DF- “We haven’t got any!”
DM - “It’s right there in front of you”
DF - “Oh. Who put it there?”
DM - “You used it last…”

Haha yes we're thrilled that the missing sperm was located safe and sound and DH is patting himself on the back because the results were good

I am happy because I forced him to quit the green stuff and it has paid off which he acknowledges and has agreed to be good for the next 3 months or so to see how the letrozole works out.

I foolishly googled letrozole and saw lots of people saying it didn't work for them so that was stupid of me. I just can't help myself. Hopefully we'll have more luck on this than we had on Clomid. She told me to expect the same horrible side effects unfortunately.

@Vil10 is not hard , is it? Be welcoming and friendly and that’s 90% of the job, oh and bring the stuff, last minute is fun

All good here, the only person to annoy me today was dh, you know that thing with men cannot admit they’re lost? ended up walking for an extra hour on the way to the place we were there to walk three hours, but he wasn’t lost, no, he knew exactly where we were going....
No spotting to spot today, boobs are killing me though

My five year old woke up just now, inconsolable, saying he’d had a nightmare I’d died. He’s gone back to sleep now (in my bed, snuggling) but it’s completely knocked me. His sad little face 😭

@Sunbird24 I'm so terribly sorry for your lost embryo and have everything crossed that the second one will catch up.

I received a random letter in the post today. Clearly a copy of what the fertility doc has sent to my gp. First she said she's discharging me cause there's nothing wrong with me other than mild endometriosis on my left ovary and that I will be applying for ivf. Then she casually mentions that my ultrasound from Feb shows my right ovary is small! I checked the attached report and my right ovary is half the size of my left 😅. A quick Google tells me it's an indicator of low egg reserves but that's about it.

@Minster2012 I always find at work the children like that are my favourites, I know I'm not supposed to have favourites but there's something about the ones who are a handful! I hope so!! How's the knee??

All went good today with the pictures, the photographer was very impressed with how clean the house was! Also quick question about OH's SA and when we can have sex, so it's on Thursday the 9th September, we've said no sex on the 30th, 31st, 1st, and then can have sex from the 2nd until the 6th then no sex until after he's done his SA, does this sound about right??

@Kirky658 like everyone else has said you're definitely in the right place, your BP does sound very impressive! Has it come down now?

@feliznavidad2 when will you get your results from yesterday? My progesterone has come back at 36.4 which suggests ovulation according to the report
@Franklydear I thought you meant a funny ttc story! 🤦🏻‍♀️ a story I always think of is when I worked in a sandwich bar, we had seating opposite and one day this man was hanging around in the seating area, he didn't order any food and just kept staring at us. The other girl I worked with went out and he kept talking to her. When she came back in I asked if the man was bothering her, she asked what man? I said the man in the seating area and she replied that's my NAN. I've never been so mortified!

@Bookbug92 it's tough isn't it! It took 20 odd months of trying and ivf for ours so do feel your pain!

@Juno231 odd to be discharged with suspected endo and a small ovary?! Surely they are things to investigate and correct, especially the endo! Are you on the waiting list for a lap? Sorry if you've said already and I've forgotten 🤦🏾‍♀️

@vil10 no sex after the 6th sounds right. What's your rationale for no sex at the end of Aug though - that won't make a difference to the SA.

@becarefuloutthere I had a lap in March where they removed the endo. But yeah all very odd. My best friends are angry/upset on my behalf but I'm just so resigned by it all 😅
