1DPO - The TWW Begins! Anyone Else?

Hey,

I'm 1DPO today, cycle 2 TTC#2. I have an 11 day LP and got my BFP with my first DC @ 9DPO so will be testing a week tomorrow!

Anyone else just started the TWW and want to symptom spot together?

@NannyPear welcome to the clockwatching, calendar eyeing gang. I'm one day ahead of you. Interesting you and different symptoms both times. I'm trying for number one and have so far avoided symptom spotting but no doubt I'll start next week before testing on the 9th.

@NannyPear I had my peak OPK on Saturday at noon and dtd Wednesday, Friday and Sunday morning. It's made me stupidly hopeful so very well set up for a fall when AF arrives 😅

@JuneySunshine yep very different early symptoms. Though, I've enough TTC experience from the previous two to know that early pregnancy symptoms can also just be preAF symptoms so I think I'll manage to avoid symptom spotting until middle of next week but even then I hope I don't pay much attention! It's amazing how you can convince yourself something means you must be pregnant then AF shows 😭

I have a question. The fun fair is in town atm, they don’t have roller coasters or anything like that, just waltzers and crazy hopper and things. Would it be a bad idea if I went on rides at like 6-7dpo? Would it ruin my chances at all? By the time AF is due the fair will be gone 😩😂 I know people who went on rides and were fine but idk...advice?

@NannyPear oh I know, a few months ago I was CONVINCED I was pregnant, then got my period a few days late 🤦🏼‍♀️ Every twinge I jumped on google ahhhhh. You should be able to find out like the day after ovulation if it was successful or not 😂 like how deliveries have the “track your parcel” option, women should have “track your egg” 😂😂

Obviously I don't know at all but, I was asking myself the same before going running last night. Concluded a sticky bean must be able to cling on through various activities otherwise there would be a lot less babies around 😅
Maybe someone else has a more scientific answer!

Hurray - there's loads of us! It would be great if there were loads of BFPs.

I was previously really hopeful for this cycle - I had peak OPK on morning of CD14, DTD every night from CD9-14, but now FF says I didn't ovulate until CD16 . DH was ill on CD15/16 (think I wore him out ) so we didn't BD then. I suppose I'm lucky that he's normally very happy to keep up ('scuse the pun!) with me when I suggest DTD every night during my fertile window.

I'm away at the moment for a few days which has been a lovely break from the stress of the TWW.

@WantStickyBean sperm can live up to 5 days inside us, so there’s still a good chance you could have had your egg fertilised 🤞🏻 Praying we all get BFP’s!!!

@NannyPear I think it's only fair DH takes his turn of growing and having our second lol.

I got my peak OPK on Saturday morning, we DTD around midnight on Friday and lunchtime on Sunday. Hoping we got the timing right (or am I?) 🙈

How’s everyone getting on? It’s killing me not knowing, I’m so tempted to do a test even though I KNOW it’s going to be negative 😅 been feeling a bit queezy today but idk if it’s because my LB is poorly. Also had a weird pricking/pinching/cramping sensation last night. Felt like someone was poking my womb with a needle 🤔 my boobs have been sore since ovulation which isn’t normal for me either

Hey everyone hope I'm okay to join... ttc again after a molar pregnancy earlier this year - so nice to be in the tww with other people! I'm going crazy already - I don't use opks so not too sure where I am, maybe 3dpo? I might start tracking next month which ones do you guys recommend?

I use easy@home OPK test strips. I was using CB Digital Advanced but they are REALLY expensive and I missed ovulation last month as they detected an LH surge a week before I actually ovulated 😩 (I stopped testing once I got my static smiley). I just use the strips now and test from CD14 - 2 days after my peak (I have an irregular cycle but usually O between CD20 - CD24) x

Urgh here's me all "I won't symptom spot". Of course I am! I've been peeing loads more today than usual. Only 4/5dpo so of course it means nothing. Why is the wait so loooooong!

I actually POAS yesterday... AT 5DPO!!!! I KNEW it would be negative but had to give in to the urge 🙈 Got quite a few strip tests so no big deal, saving the FRERs until a more appropriate time 😂

6DPO today and will more than likely test again tomorrow and then on Tuesday. Tuesday will be 9DPO which is when I got my BFP with DS.

Anyone else testing soon? x

I've got slight cramps this morning just hope AF isn't coming early like she did last month 🤞🤞. Hope you're all doing OK, this TWW is dragging 😩.

I'm going to test on Monday even though I'll be 8dpo at best! But I've got the cheapie strips too so it's worth it just to satisfy the POAS urge 😂

I caved and POAS and of course BFN 😂😂 I’m 5-7dpo. Had sore boobs for over a week now which isn’t normal for me at all, I keep getting hot flushes and I’m just so exhausted! I’ve got the cheap strips so I’m not too bothered about wasting them, but I’m gonna try hold off for another 7 days...that’s when AF is due 😬 also getting a lot of pimples, which my skin is usually clear until a couple of days before AF...even then I only get one or two 🤔🤔 trying not to think too much into it though 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Tested this morning, 6/7dpo, BFN 😂😂 have to laugh at the ludicrousness of it all.

Not testing here but 'symptom' spotting continues. Twinges and alcohol aversion
