@Vil10 you say you want to start fertility investigations as you've been ttc for 15 months and off the pill 17 months. It's not that scary once you start talking, promise! X

@Vil10 sometimes it's best to not have any PTs in! I'm trying to hold out until latest possible AF arrival which would be a week on Saturday. Re the GP I think I just called and said I wanted to book an app regarding fertility issues then obviously went into more depth with the GP during the phone appointment 👍🏼

@Vil10 I called up after 13 months. I just said I wanted to speak to a doctor about fertility issues to the receptionist and she booked me in for a phone consultation with my GP the next week. The doctor called a week later and didn't even question anything really as soon as I said "so we've been trying to conceive for over a year without success" she just asked when my next period was and how long they typically are so she could book me in for bloods at the right time of the month. I was expecting a ton of questions about lifestyle, how often we were having sex etc but she didn't seem to care and just booked me. When I went in for the bloods she also gave me leaflets and a pot to take away so my husband could call and book his SA. All very easy!

@Minster2012 not yet, we’ve had the flat on the market on and off for almost a year - estate agents say there’s not much interest for flats and throw in husband being made redundant (he has a new job now) means we’ve missed out on a few houses we liked which is a shame! Not much on the market for now but if we sell at least we’ll be a better position if something comes up!

@Vil10 looks like we’re at the same point! Fingers crossed AF stays away for you too! 🤞🏻

@JuniperAndTonic fingers def crossed then! Yeah much easier to be in a position to move, last year I remember 2 places said we couldn't even view a house as ours wasn't on the market then. So glad DH got something else 🙌🏻

Tested just this minute. Negative. I guess my period is just 3 days late for no reason.

I had cramps yesterday all evening and then nothing this morning. I wish it would just come if it's coming.

And I have a migraine, probably because of the heavy humid weather. Yuck.

Interesting @Juno231. Not a problem for now, given that I haven't got a job offer nor am I pregnant 🤣...would be a nice problem to have!

@vil10 exciting! Make sure to call as soon as AF shows - they might be able to get you in for a day 2-3 blood test straight away - that's what happened to me.

@Minster2012 yeah just leave it in as disregarded for now - if needed you can always go back and adjust it.

I feel a little emotional that I'm at this point now, I remember when I first came off the pill and I was making plans on how to tell my friends I couldn't go on the girls holiday in august because I was pregnant, how wrong was I😂 going to wait and see if af shows then ring my gp that same day, I think once we get the ball rolling I'll feel so much better, I'm just sad it's come to this, I need to get a grip😂

Thanks @Minster2012 it’s been a nightmare if I’m honest but we’re in the process of changing agents and things will hopefully progress! I know we aren’t even at the stressful stage of buying/selling yet so I’m not looking forward to that 😂

@Vil10 it must be so hard when you’ve been trying for a while! Sending you lots of good wishes and I hope you get somewhere if it does come to getting investigations done! I already feel like my life is on hold and I’ve been trying for a lot lot less time! For example I want to apply for a promotion but don’t want to if I’m just going to go off on maternity leave! It’s tough!

@Vil10 you'll definitely feel better once you get the ball rolling with testing as you immediacy have more hope! There's always a chance like some of us you will find you can cancel appointments later as you could still conceive naturally in the mean time 🤞

Update, I'm now 6dpo and the past 2/3 days I've been experiencing period cramps, like AF is about to begin. Also got lower back ache and my thighs ache too.
I am due to start in 5ish days as I have an annoyingly shorter than usual luteal phase, but with the vitamins I've been taking, maybe it'll be longer!

Should I be worried if I don't have some common symptoms, like sore nipples etc?

I hate the waiting so much 😔😔 I'm seeing some family on Saturday, (which will be 8dpo) after not seeing them for 1yr and 9months so quite excited. Is it worth doing a test Saturday morning before I see them? Added surprise 🤞🤞 or not worth the heartbreak as it may be too early 🤔🤔😬😬

@Somatronic oh no that's shit on the bfn and no af then bloody fuck boy bodies honestly they are teasing us. I also have a really bad headache & putting that down to a crap nights sleep, the Mac Donald's I've had (DS' fault) has helped actually 🤣

@KiwiTTC1st id say 8dpo was too early so if you can wait then do so but if have a POAS urge go for it! I didn't get sore nipples/boobs for my BFP I had cramps & twinges 🤞🏻

@clolo idk from an IVF pov but from an ovulation pov they can get up to 28mm! Can't believe how many you've got brewing though - are you feeling uncomfortable at all?

Hi everyone! Is it okay if I join this bus? I've asked to join another bus but not sure which one I should be in?!

AF was due today but no sign of her yet. I've never had a cycle past 29 and am on CD 28 now. If AF doesn't show up I'll be testing tomorrow or Saturday🤞

Boobs feel more sore than my usual pms but on the inner side? They're only ever sore on the outer side with pms so this would be a first! Anybody else had this?

Inner thigh pains are also new this month & so crampy but probably just AF on her way 😭

@clolo wow that's so many! I wouldn't worry about over maturing for that amount because surely you would still get a good amount? I seem to remember they were looking for a follicles 17-20 MMC but can't remember which scan that was for 🤣@becarefuloutthere should be able to help having been there more recently?! This weekend god all of a sudden it's so quick!

My embarrassing story oh god - this is what came to mind first 🙈 Years ago I accidentally made someone's penis bleed as we were trying to DTD, I wasn't wet all at and so his frenulum (I think??) tore! Very awkward and left shortly after that, never saw him again but he text a week or so later to say he was healed and wanted to try again 😂😬
