@Confused678866 hey! We are ok thank you, have a scan booked by the hospital as had covid and they want to make sure baby is ok, I got it mild but best to be safe, how are you? Xx

@amyannx Oh no! Glad to hear you had only mild symptoms though. I'm sure all will be fine. Bless you, must have been rubbish. Where do you think you caught it from?

@Confused678866 sure it's from my partners work! He got it a few days later I tested positive and a few of he's work mates messaged to say that had it to! Such a worry and stressful time, glad your ok! Feel like this pregnancy is flying by! Xx

@amyannx it is super stressful isn't it? My 2 girls both had it last week and I spend the whole time worrying myself sick ! Luckily it's seems to have left me alone !! X

@amyannx Oh gosh, well I'm so glad you're okay now and didn't suffer too badly with it. I'm constantly worried about it to be honest, it's not healthy the amount I worry 🙄😳
It really is flying by! Been hit with my toddlers vile cold so that's ruined me for the last week or so. I have 3 appointments this week, blood tests tomorrow, Anti-D injection on Thursday and then I have to see a midwife at the hospital on Friday (c-section clinic) to discuss further my birth plan etc because of my previous section. Xx

@Confused678866 oh I have the blood test and anti D next week followed by the midwife! So many appointments! Yeah I'm still going to worry but they said less likely to catch it again x

@amyannx I am ok thank you . Just keeping my fingers crossed all stays well ! I am 18/40 on second attempt at number 3 x

@amyannx Yeah I think when you have lots of appointments, it makes the weeks go quickly doesn't it!
Well at least that's one good thing then, you'll have built up an immunity to it.
I'm just going to have to pull my little one out of nursery if they have any outbreaks as that's all I can do really. I'm 28 weeks next week and I won't be going anywhere indoors or doing much at all really.. and I'm still working from home which is a bonus xx

@Confused678866 yeah I'm 28 weeks next Tuesday, I have so many appointments scan tomorrow the appointments next week then my son has he's flu jab and hospital appointment then the week after I have my flu jab, crazy all the appointments! Yeah I'm the same not doing much now, I'm still going to take my son out of there is outbreaks too incase xx

@amyannx Oh yeah you're a day before me aren't you!! I'm 28 weeks on the Wednesday. Haha yes it does make all of the weeks fly by. Have you bought much for baby yet?
Had my flu jab a couple of weeks ago, glad I've had that as they're saying flu outbreaks are going to be bad this winter too aren't they? 😖
Yes I think that's the best thing to do really isn't it.. I'll have to work from home with him here but it's doable, not the end of the world!
I've been invited to a wedding reception in December and I've had to say I can't go because of covid etc.. my partner will probably go as they're good friends of his but I'm not risking it xx

@Confused678866 yeah exactly we have to be careful, yeah got everything just going to order my pram next month want to make sure it doesn't go on sale in Black Friday before hand, then just the baby milk to get so pretty much done, got her clothes up to 3-6 months to xx

Yes I don't blame you about the Black Friday sale, worth a check isn't it.
I've made a list of what I need but that's about as far as I've got 😂 I've bought a few neutral bits but will wait until baby is born until I buy anything else. Glad that I have all of the big stuff from my son.. just a couple of biggish bits to get. Think I need to get my act together 🤣 xx

@Confused678866 still lots of time! Just my ds birthday is a few days before Xmas and bought if she comes early I need to be organised, got everything else done so feel more relaxed, focusing on Xmas and he's birthday now xx

@amyannx Oh yes I don't blame you with having your little ones birthday before Xmas. I'd like to try and start getting the few bits we need and then get Christmas sorted.
Will you buy your son a present from baby for when she arrives?
I need to think of something for my son because he's so young and I just don't want to confuse him xx

@Confused678866 oo I haven't thought of that! Do you mean a present when she arrives or for he's birthday and Xmas? Xx

@amyannx For when she arrives! Lots of people have suggested doing that to me.. a present from baby to older one and some do vice versa too.. suppose it just eases them in a little doesn't it! Xx

@Confused678866 oh I see! Oh I might have to get a little something then for him, maybe give it once we are home from hospital xx

@amyannx Yes that's what I'm planning to do. My little boy will still be 2 so I think it's quite hard for him to get his around so I think the present will help... and who doesn't love a present! 😂 xx

@Confused678866 yeah exactly my boy will be 4, may get a big brother book and a toy he likes for him xx

@Confused678866 so difficult never thought about a gift, just hoping when people bring gifts for baby when they meet her, they get him a sweet or something as I don't want him being left out xx

@amyannx Yes this is my worry too. I think if there is only something for baby, I will open them when my little one is in bed and explain to the visitor why I'm doing it! Would hate for him to feel pushed out xx
