Ding Ding

Agency bus driver here so expect driving past the normal bus stops, someone incapable of working the ticket machine and definitely no change given!

In all seriousness I really hope I have all the right names in the right places!

Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Oh and we like an embarrassing story to get your ticket for entry please!

And if you see mention of the boss' blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

minstermusings.co.uk for the blog that’s where the full stuff happens
& minstermusings on insta - some of our ladies have made special anonymous accounts so we can link up via minster 🥰
If you want to sign up & get updates please do, please note your username if you comment shows up to others so maybe make it anonymous she won’t be offended 😂🤣(unless you are mean)

@Minster2012 Wine and Gin sounds a good plan to me girl, get your favourite binged watched programs too with a good takeout alongside of your self care time, sending hugs to you both 💖

kaylsd · 19/05/2021 17:59

@Justanothercyster

Sorry been a bit quiet ladies, taking more of a back seat to cut down screen time lately! But I did see this pic and needed to post here haha.

Hugs to everyone x

@Justanothercyster absolutely howled at that, so accurate it's unreal 🤣🤣🤣
2alreadywantanother · 19/05/2021 18:03

@notyetamumbuttrying mon/Tue think I'm around 8dpo give or take a day

kaylsd · 19/05/2021 18:04

@Juno231
Well I've gave him a Scarborough warning now so he's gonna have a good bevvy on this weekend as it's his time off to get it out of his system then he said he's gonna just drink once a week.. I'll see how much it'll last but I like the enthusiasm!

Thanks for the Reddit read I never realised how much depth there was to something as simple! GP have rang him today though and dropped the shell of the results verbally which they said it's a slim chance of natural conception but I've said to him if he cuts down the booze takes supplements and repeats it in 3 month he might be in with a chance to improve!

kaylsd · 19/05/2021 18:11

So I've officially been diagnosed with PCOS and my bloods confirm I don't ovulate as I've known all along, hubs has also had GP ring today saying his SA wasn't the best and low chance of natural conception at the moment based on that sample.. so they have finally referred us into for fertility support! Presuming it's at our local hospital as a outreach clinic for one of the ones in our CCG

From those waiting to be referred from GP to letter in post / appointment time frame for first one am I predicting it's gonna be a few months? as I've read stories on here which is varied time frame, I'm in the West Yorkshire catchment if this helps for anything for insight 🤣

Franklydear · 19/05/2021 18:47

Chocolate cake in the oven, for ds you understand....

Justanothercyster · 19/05/2021 19:42

@kaylsd your story sounds so similar to mine! I was diagnosed with pcos first and then hubby found out he had bad semen too. He went on impryl as first part of our fertility referral. Don't give up hope, we were told conception was unlikely and here we are at 16 weeks! It will happen x

@Justanothercyster congratulations makes me so happy to hear lovely stories like your own, can you tell me your story? I don't need to know about the birds and the bees part ;) but if you had medicated cycles or IUI ect as I've been abit late catching onto this bus ride to fully follow everyone's BFPs for those who have graduated ✨✨

DOB78 · 19/05/2021 20:18

@kaylsd my Daughter is just starting investigations for pcos, her bloods came back normal and she's waiting for an ultrasound but she has an implant in so isn't sure if this messed with her results🤔. What signs did you have?

blackcurrantqueen · 19/05/2021 20:22

@Thinkingandblinking that's lovely news 💕🥰 glad all okay!

@Kirky658 @DOB78 washboard abs what are those 😂 I swear I've had a mum tum since 16!

@Justanothercyster hahaha that ovulation picture is uncanny 😂

@Minster2012 you are a total rockstar. I'm glad Matt said the uterus was unremarkable. Here's to chasing rainbows darling! Xx

@kaylsd brilliant news on the referral, let's get that egg ball rolling🤞🏼

So ladies, I might have a little tannoy announcement of my own... as today at 10dpo I have got a BFP 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
I can't breathe for anxiety, I'm really hoping this is 5th time lucky...!
But I do know that it is already an earlier and stronger BFP than my last few.
I have spent most the day trying to get my progesterone suppositories prescription sorted. And honestly I am on the ceiling already
But I am just really hoping this little bean sticks 🤞🏼🌈
Hope this isn't insensitive to anybody, I wish it could be all of us, and I am very aware that one positive with my history means very little ✨

Xxx

Juno231 · 19/05/2021 20:24

@kaylsd pretty sure justanothercyster conceived the good old fashioned way! We were so happy for her ❤️. Any chance your doc would want you to try clomid for a bit? Sounds like you could be in with a good chance if your OH shakes things up his end. Took me 3 months from referral to fertility clinic app BTW but I think a couple of ladies here only had to wait 2 months?

Thinkingandblinking · 19/05/2021 20:25

@blackcurrantqueen that’s amazing news! I know you will be anxious but take the moment and enjoy it...routing for you xxx

Franklydear · 19/05/2021 20:25

@blackcurrantqueen how wonderful!

Vil10 · 19/05/2021 20:25

@Minster2012 sounds like today went as well as it could, still rest and go easy on yourself, thinking of you always and sending hugs❤️

@kaylsd sorry About the results today but at least now you know where you stand and they are referring you, this is the start of the ball rolling x

Sorry I haven't been very active girls, I've been reading and keeping up though! I've been focusing on my fitness and health so much, and I'm 2lb off the 1 stone loss mark, OH is currently in his cutting phase too so we've been spurring each other on, we also decided last night that in July/august time we're going to get bloods/sa done just to see what's going on/if there is anything, I know we've kinda not been trying but we've also not really been dead strict with the contraception either, OH thinks his SA might come back with bad news which would piss us both off because he doesn't smoke, never drinks during the week only when he's out which is like twice a month it that, drinks 4-5 litres of water a day, only 1 cup of caffeine a day, gym 6/7 times a week, his physical fitness and diet is immense, so I really don't know what else he could do to improve, but obviously that's IF his SA was to hold bad news! It's his goddaughters 2nd birthday tomorrow (the owners of the bitch we bred our dog with) so we're going to see her tomorrow and take her present which will be nice, I'll also post dog pics below of the pup my mum has chosen!

I apologise for the lengthy post, feel free to skip past😂 hope everyone is okay❤️

Vil10 · 19/05/2021 20:26

@blackcurrantqueen amazing news!! Congratulations!! Do you have a test pic?? I love seeing them❤️

kaylsd · 19/05/2021 20:27

@DOB78 abit of a strange one for me as I didn't have the a typical signs I had a USS back in 2017 absolutely normal (I was on pill then) but ever since I came off pill last year in august my only signs was irregular periods occasionally? I had my withdrawal bleed and 2 normal cycles after that but ended up having an long one lasting around 70 days, blamed pill for years then returned back and then same happened again, I'm not overweight I don't have excess hair or weight gain or acne, my only symptoms was long cycles occasionally, got rescanned privately as my GP refused which showed some immature follicles which then they did the blood work which showed 3:1 ratio imbalance of LH and that particular cycle as non ovulation from my day 21 but my GPS argument is my pill most likely could be the contributing factor as I have no inflammation or insulin resistance & my pill might have masked it back in 2017 when it was normal.. I don't know if this is helpful for you but I didn't have a clue for much like this until TTC :') but apparently you don't have to have cysts or follicles to be diagnosed can be blood work and symptoms X

BlondePotter · 19/05/2021 20:27

@blackcurrantqueen that's amazing!!! Praying for a good sticky bean for you xx

@kaylsd thanks for sharing. She has excess hair, acne and weight gain periods are pretty regular but super heavy and painful. She's 21 and doesn't want children her answer is a full hysterectomy and be done with it all. She's done some research and would have to have intensive psychological therapy first so goodness knows where her journey will take us.
@vil10 ooooo so so cute 😍

blackcurrantqueen · 19/05/2021 20:42

@Vil10 awwww pup 😍😍😍 he is gorgeous
Well done on the weight loss! Sounds like you're smashing it !
Planning a date to look into more fertility stuff sounds a good idea and hopefully you might not need it - though I know you also aren't trying as such!

Will upload a pic of the test. It probs looks really faint in comparison to most but for me it's the best one yet sooo I'm really hoping and praying.

I've tried to add a little caution photo first so those that might not want to see it don't have to 🥰

Thank you girls. I can't tell you how much it means 🥰

Franklydear · 19/05/2021 20:51

@blackcurrantqueen I want to and see it clearly, congrats!

Minster2012 · 19/05/2021 20:54

@blackcurrantqueen quietly hoping this one's the one.

Ok not so quietly, see pic 🌈

@kaylsd wow that's a lot to take in! But knowledge is power and yes we have graduates who have taken on both that information & got pregnant so fear not! However, what the hell has Scarborough got to do with it?? 🤔@Juno231 you are the queen of info, can you hell cos I'm lost!!

@Vil10 firstly, that pup is so bloody handsome!! What's it called again?? And I think it's a hood plan you & OH have. Did you say before you can get analysis on his health insurance? It can just be one of those things not a lifestyle thing, and that can go for you both, don't bear yourself up (or him) before you know anything. And btw you've done AMAZING on the weight!! 🙌🏻❤️you need to coach the rest of us on the diet bus. Weighing food you say??

@Dollybird89 hows the squats going?? And do you have a link to your sponsorship page? I'd like to sponsor you seeing as I had to give up? I'm def gonna be back on the exercise band wagon next week! 🙌🏻

@Thinkingandblinking that's so good I'm so pleased for you 💓

@Franklydear share the love please DS doesn't need it all but you need some after meaty 70s AF 🍰🍩Keep going gorgeous

Thank you ladies you are awesome 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

Justanothercyster · 19/05/2021 20:56

@kaylsd there's not much to tell tbh! We were trying for 18 months before I fell and I tracked with temp, luckily I did ovulate just not regularly. DTD whenever I noticed ewcm. Dh went on the special supplements and we fell after a pack and a half. We were told if that didn't work then it was ivf but got lucky. Good luck!

@blackcurrantqueen omg yes! Wishing you all the best with this rainbow 🎉

@Vil10 ahhhh puppies!! And well done that's amazing!

@Juno231 bless you 💕 how are you? X

InkyPaper · 19/05/2021 20:57

Aaaaahh congratulations @blackcurrantqueen!! So exciting!! Keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean for you 🤞

@kaylsd I think the referral times vary hugely depending on when your GP actually puts it through and the wait time at the fertility unit. Have you done all the paperwork?? Mine sent across an entire tree's worth of paperwork to fill in, it was a bit intense!
