This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@Minster2012, I ovulated around a week later than usual give or take a day counting the first day of bleeding as if it were a period. Some take a little longer some bang on time. Will be interested to see what happens this month.

If you’re getting bloods @larrythelizard won’t that cream mess with the results? Also I really can’t help myself - please be careful with “natural” products bought off the internet, there really is no telling what is in them. Surely the doctor will prescribe you some if you need it?

@larrythelizard yeah & I didn't ovulate before after medical management so F knows! Just gonna have to bang n hope I guess if the bleeding doesn't go ok for months like last time! Those ones say orange flavour so that's one of your 5 a day right??

You're probably right @Haiyaa and I'll talk to the dr before trying it. I doubt the stuff I've ordered is strong enough to be useful (looks more herbal than medical) but I given that I have to wait until at least CD7 there's time to ask the dr

@haiyaa yeah I dunno but seeing as I only knew before from the CB tests can I use those from like a potential week after bleeding?? And I too read @bez91's comment as he opened the FULL pot 🤣

See @larrythelizard, @Minster2012 has my number, I’ll do your heading if you’re not careful, spotting stopped completely, it was a bit of a pink tinge on cm once, and then like a single filament of red, like hair like and then nothing, I’ll tell you more tomorrow, I put on a pad just in case.... I’ll be dammed if I ruin my pyjamas...

@Minster2012 mine was almost to a T first day of bleeding being CD1, but you do want to make sure it's all stopped before 🍆 due to theoretical infection risk 💕

DHs SA went well earlier! Meant to update but got immediately sucked back into work nonsense. So relieved! They told him to call the fertility unit in a week and a half to get the results. We posted off the mountain of paperwork to the fertility unit too today, so that's all sorted now. Just waiting on the endocrinology referral really, but it definitely progress, so I'm happy 😊

@Franklydear how strange with the spotting? Is it definitely AF coming??

@Clairey844 I love caramac 🤤 I'm doing WW right now so limiting my sweet stuff at the moment. Although, saying that DH and I have agreed that we're not tracking or anything while we're on holiday next week so maybe I'll grab some caramac then 😄

@Clairey844 I wasn't expecting a BFP, as nice as it would have been - I o my had my coil out nearly 10 week ago, so first proper AF cycle so expected to be getting back to how it should be but slightly hopeful just in case 🤞🏼 I've learnt a lot this last 4 weeks... and how much hormonal contraception changes things!! I've NEVER had sore boobs before AF but without anything holy cow! Lol

@minster2012 I did all the reading like you when I had my mc ... I wasn't on here then and boy I wish I had its reassuring to know what others have gone through I had 1 normal cycle after my mc then it all went tits up afterwards so I'm not much help lol X sending you warm hugs x

So I POASed (it's a verb now) and my flow was hectic enough to get on my t-shirt and jeans. Then I stopped to wipe what I could, took a cup, and continued the wee-wee process, this time into that cup. Put the cup on the sink, right next to my phone and, you guessed it. It went all over. Wiping pee drops off my screen as I type. Oh, and it's a negative. Not even a squinter. Around 10dpo. But got very good results on one of my studies (doing research) some 14 hours before deadline and tonight I'm celebrating (read - tipsy).

P.S. asparagus making your wee-wee stink is not a myth 😩

@Minster2012 I basically started testing as soon as I stopped bleeding but honestly if I had a positive within a week of that I don’t think I would have enjoyed myself 😕 so better that it was a bit late for me. So yeah, I would start testing as soon as bleeding stops because it is anybody’s guess.

Good to know @larrythelizard, just watching out for you 😘 some of the herbal products have been known to contain actual pharmaceuticals but unregulated so you never know what you are getting.

@Tornado2Inc true on the asparagus wee... but not everyone can smell it, it’s a genetic thing! If I forget that I’ve eaten asparagus, I’m sure to remember later 😂

When I had my D&C I'm sure they said I had to wait three weeks and then do a pregnancy test to make sure it was negative, presumably I could have kept testing in that time frame until they went negative but we were between houses and had to live with the in-laws so TTC was on hold anyway

@Minster2012 as @larrythelizard has said I was advised 3 weeks after my MMC. I was still getting positives and I'd recommend using the same type of test when testing initially after 3 weeks then when retesting of still positive so there is some comparison and not a possible new pregnancy. Hope you're feeling ok this morning and the cramping has worn off for you

@larrythelizard I tried NOW progesterone cream. The issue with it is - how do you know if its working? I personally decided it did nothing as it still spotted. But unless you can do a day 21 test with it and one without (for a comparison) you've no idea what's going on.
But yeah don't use it with blood tests if your dr genuinely needs to see what's going on at day 21. Otherwise it could hide an issue.

I'm still quite sick with metformin, 2 and a half weeks in. I didnt ask for the extended release version because last time it settled down after a few days so I thought it would be the same this time. I'll give it til the end of the week.

I was meant to get 21 day bloods this month to see if I ovulate without Clomid but our health service's IT system has been hacked so everything is a mess. Hopefully I can do it next month. I've decided to pay for a private tubal whatyoumacallit thingy too because I can't wait, and this hacking thing will slow everything down further.

Yeah that is a good point @paintfairy about it masking a problem. Sounds like I will NOT be using it this cycle...!

To those that answered on the POAS/TTC question yes we got told the same with the medicated last year I had to get a negative HCG after 3 weeks to ensure it was clear, I was planning on doing hcg tests basically from end of bleeding to see what it says as a comparison & when that's negative surely it's ok? But also DTD a fair amount anyway once bleeding stopped. DH on board with starting again but he's very much if it happens again I think he might not agree to carry on whereas I'm in the camp of "omg I've only just got cycles so 😬😬😬we can't give up that easily" but then it may mean I just can't carry a baby. It's a big head fuck isn't it but basically yeah wanna get on it and just hope it doesn't mess me up like before and @Dollybird89 I guess, it's all so horrible the way our bodies get messed up 😭😭

I think the worst over yesterday. Literally couldn't stand up. My parents had DS, But today seems better, they are having him again today then I have my scan tomorrow so we'll check if anything left anyway.

TTC is so hard, staying pregnant hard too. We are so fortunate we have each other 💓🌈

Oh @Franklydear I missed that. Sorry ☹️☹️🙁. I've been working hard to imagine a life with an only child so that I can come to terms with it, and if I manage to get pregnant then it's a bonus. I'm not there yet though...

Pleased you're physically through the worst of it @Minster2012. I hate that it's OK that women are left to deal with it and it's Ok because it's very common. Still boggles the mind that they can send a robot to Mars but women's reproductive health is still such a mystery!!

@Minster2012 I hope the worst is over for you. What an exhausting few weeks you've had. I hope you can rest now and recover physically and mentally.

@larrythelizard I'm doing the same. Not everyone gets to be a mother. I have to get my head around the possibility that it may not happen for us but that it will be lovely if it does. I'm going to try to be less caught up in TTC and enjoy my time childless and hope that it's not forever!
