Thanks @CycloGoose I tested on 14dpo.
My DP phoned me as I was in supermarket and asked if I'm okay (he didn't know I tested).

I ended up bursting into tears in the middle of the aisle and just couldn't stop crying. This month hit me hard. Gotta keep trying 😀❤️

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 08/06/2021 09:03

@Veronika13 I hear you, so sorry you are feeling disappointed. You’re right, got to keep trying and one day you’ll get your BFP. Like you I find some months harder than others but no matter how hard I find it, after a while I recover and enthusiastically start with the new month of testing, BD etc. I hope you feel better already.

I found this month hard too. I have my fertility checks on Monday and really wanted to be the lady that turns up pregnant but alas, it’s not to be! Also my partner is having his swimmers checked and has to abstain from BD for 3 days right when i should be ovulating this month 🙄 but to be honest is an enforced month off from the whole thing necessarily such a bad thing?!

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:39
@kaylsd referencing is the bloody devil. Just when you think you're finished! What's a revalidation, is it one of those things you do after a year in the job or something? How are you getting on? Smile X
Yeah similar hunny, so every 3 year every practicing nurse has to submit to the NMC evidence of so many hours practice, evidence to say we are keeping up to date with our training and reflections of practice in order to maintain our PIN number to be a nurse in a short summary :)

I'm doing okay thank you darl! Just smashed out housework and got in the garden to top up the little tan I have going off, I'm on CD 35 no AF no BFP so presuming I'm in for the long ride once again 🙊 how are you getting along sweetheart? X

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:40
@Bookbug92 they tested on day 21 and said I did ovulate on14th day. I also dtd that night and nothing :(
Just got another BFN 💔
Sending lots of love hunny, I know the BFNs are hard to swallow sometimes when it's something you want so much, let's hope you get your answers soon whether it's AF with a new cycle chance or your BFP 🤞🏻

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:42

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange keep us posted on your checks darling, what do they consist of? Bloods and ultrasound checks and swabs, something along those lines? Good luck with your partners SA 🤞🏻 my hubs got his results back live 6 days after doing it so hopefully it's similar for you :)

kaylsd · 08/06/2021 11:42

@CycloGoose how's things over at your end darling I hope you are all well and everything's going smoothly for you at the moment 👶 🤞🏻😘

CycloGoose · 08/06/2021 14:48

@Veronika13 big hugs hun. Don't be afraid to cry it all out. Perfectly normal and natural. We all have good days and bad days. Cycle after my early miscarriage was hardest I think.

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange fingers crossed for Monday chick. Hope it's all straightforward and you get some answers 😘

@kaylsd I think you tagged me in a different thread about twins. Is this meant to be some kind of sign? 🤣 I've booked a scan for 6 weeks as I'm a ball of anxiety.

So far so good though my allergies are on fire and I don't know how I'm going to get through all my work this week! Nose so bad I only just rescued a drip from dribbling on the photocopier 🤣

Sorry to hear you're having a mare with the long haul again but hoping some answers really soon at your first appointment. Maybe your body just decided to keep your eggs warm while the docs help get hubs swimmers ready 🤞 golden egg coming over the rainbow soon my love 🌈

@CycloGoose it's totally understandable your anxiety at the moment chick but hopefully at your 6 week scan you feel reassured a little bit when you can see your little baby beans heart beat 😘 can imagine it'll be a beautiful moment for you both 💖 when's that booked in for? You never know sweet, could always be more than one heart beat in there :p

Thank you for the golden egg, I may claim this egg one day 🤞🏻💖

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 08/06/2021 18:26

@kaylsd yep that’s it - amh and ultrasound I think. Will keep you posted! We have a joint appointment on 25.6 (nearly 2 weeks after!) to discuss results so I think they’ll keep me waiting until then... thanks for the good luck @CycloGoose! Right back at you too - Let us know how the 6 week scan goes!

minthumbugs · 08/06/2021 18:58

So sorry about the BFN @Veronika13, it's really emotional and as everyone has said sometimes some months just hit you a lot harder than others. I hope you're ok. X

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange getting your fertility checks is a big step so it's only natural to feel emotional about that. That's annoying about being forced into a month off but as you say it might be a big help! A month to DTD just for the fun of it can't harm your relationship Wink and gives you a little bit of time to reset. And you never know, stranger things have happened and you could ovulate slightly earlier or later than normal anyway and get a wee surprise!

@kaylsd every three years?! I did not expect that. Shows how much work goes into being a nurse and shows how high the standards are doesn't it. I have to say I have only ever encountered maybe one or two nurses who weren't absolute angels. CD35, not the longest yet there's still plenty time for you ;) have you ovulated do you think? Or are you just chilling out waiting for the fertility fairies to tell you what's happening in July? I'm visiting family just now for a wee break, it's been brill to be away from home for the first time and just be out of normal routine! X

Bookbug92 · 08/06/2021 19:57

I'm really sorry to hear about your BFN @Veronika13, it can be so hard. Sending you lots of virtual hugs x

I came on 10 days earlier than I usually do so my HyCoSy has been cancelled 😩 So typical of my body to have my first ever 28 day cycle the month of the HyCoSy. I'm trying to look to the positive that maybe I'll magically have regular 28 day cycles now but somehow I doubt that!

I'm just waiting to hear if they have any cancellations for Friday's clinic, if not I have to wait until at least July 🤞🏻

minthumbugs · 08/06/2021 20:00

Awww @Bookbug92 that is such unfortunate timing, how frustrating. I really hope they can squeeze you in for a cancellation space!

Veronika13 · 09/06/2021 07:05

Thanks everyone, I went to see a GP specialising in fertility and she said my AMH levels of 69 are realllly high.

Even though I've been trying for 4 months she's referred me to fertility clinic (with my partner so he can get checked too). Never in a million years thought I would be at fertility clinic, but here I am 🤷‍♀️😀

I'm just focusing on the positives and being grateful at the healthcare system here in Australia, I choose any specialist I want, they help straight away without waiting times, never ever fob me off, they did my AMH levels and 21 day bloods all for free, before I even started trying ttc. I feel like I'm in good hands x

justwant2beamum · 09/06/2021 10:39

@Veronika13 really sorry to hear that but it sounds like you have excellent care, much better than here in the Uk! I have every faith they will help you get your little one ✨

Halpmer · 10/06/2021 15:16

@CycloGoose how did I miss your BFP?! I've just tracked back through posts! Congratulations and hope all is well at your 6 week scan!

CycloGoose · 10/06/2021 15:30

Awww thank you @Halpmer how are you getting on?

@Veronika13 your clinic sounds great. Really good luck xxx high amh could be pcos related so hopefully treatable xxx

@CycloGoose great, had the 12 week scan a couple of weeks ago and all looking fine. Little one was wriggling around and giving us a wave. Sickness and nausea has died down (seemingly, although I'm suspicious of it's absence). Finding being back at school DRAINING after the lovely week off. The heat and the students and my fatigue are proving quite challenging haha.

CycloGoose · 10/06/2021 17:52

So exciting! @Halpmer Yes I've had exams all week and running a whole school themed week next week so it's all chaos. Glad all going well xxx

Hey ladies thought I'd let you know it's not been a good outcome for me. Bad news, it's ectopic 😢Xxx

PaleGreenAndBrightOrange · 10/06/2021 18:36

@minthumbugs I am so sorry ❤️

CycloGoose · 10/06/2021 18:47

I can't even imagine what you're going through @minthumbugs. I don't really know the best way to support you but I will do anything in my power. I am so so sorry for your loss. 💔

Oh @minthumbugs I'm so very sorry, that's awful news. Hope you are as well as you can be and are being looked after. Sending love xx

@minthumbugs I am so sorry that I've only just seen this and just seen you post since, I know nothing what I'm going to say is going to make you feel better, I know you carried your baby for a little time but they will be loved for a life time regardless of them being an angel baby, we are here for you when you are wanting to talk and feel up to talking! But it's okay also to take time out for your recovery process, I've nursed ladies before with ectopic pregnancies so I can only imagine what you are going through, you are not alone on this journey, we are all here when you are ready 💖
kaylsd · 10/06/2021 19:35

@Veronika13 you may be a fellow cyster like me! It sounds amazing how the system works so forward with the fertility process it's a shame the NHS can't follow suit but least you are moving forward! I also have a high AMH a and being recently diagnosed with PCOS :)
