@kaylsd that's nice and unusual that you're open about ttc. I also want to share it with my friends/family but I'm not sure why I'm scared - maybe there needs to be a change and we need to talk about it. I really want to share with my best friend but just can't say the words. Also my mum is annoying me with her 'time goes reallllyyyy fast.....you don't have forever' talk 🙄🙄🙄

Ps i know about the pressure thing from the family too well! My inlaws are to politely phrase it, arseholes. My MIL has a tendency to have word vomit sort of speak around us where she has no filter towards our TTC situation and the difficulties we've recently had come to light of how hard it may be for us for a baby, she says things straight after we tell her like half of her streets got newborn babies, like thanks for that insight whilst I have PCOS and don't ovulate and your son may have a degree of male infertility 🙃

Hi everyone! Got my BFP!!!

Just thought I would let you know symptoms I had leading up to it.

2dpo left sided cramps
4dpo dizziness, stabbing pain in left breast
5-8dpo cramps
10dpo a little bit nauseous

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange I don't think you're OTT thinking of ivf! My friend started thinking of it after 4 months.

I'm ttc since feb. how old are you? Are you using opks? I only use Flo app for now. I'm 34

I also have pcos (AHM levels 70), drs are not doing anything though as I'm 'only ttc since feb'. Are you having any treatment for it ?

Yes OH knows I looked at the test the same time as him, he's really happy but mostly impressed with his sperm after he had a fever for 4 days just before my FW! We thought they may have been damaged after him being ill, but turns out they were fine 😊

I would have love to turn round and say that to them but I don't think I'd get much of a response back from them tbh 🤣 we've said stuff in the past, the last funny bit when we were telling my FIL I have PCOS so it's difficult for me to ovulate and he just turn round and said do you think it's because your trying too hard? I felt the tumbleweed across the floor at that moment 😳🤣

I'm not on anything for my PCOS other than my supplements, I take ovulation support supplements which are meant to be good for PCOS as they have the inositol in them but I'm not insulin resistant but I still take them and a multi vitamin for conception :)! I just end up being in limbo land for some times as I don't ovulate regularly and I've tried every trick in the book to try 🤣

@Veronika13 wow that is absolutely horrendous about Michelle Keegan. I'm always really careful with people I know, when friends get married etc I never ever bring up 'oh when's the baby?' and my partner is always desperate for one of our friends to have kids so our LO has someone to play with but I'm like noooo don't bring it up just in case!

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange I'd introduce myself but you already know 😏 as Kayls says we have definitely had some moments, I dread to think... Some of us have been chatting since Feb 🙈 there have been so many ups and downs, lots have left us with BFPs and some of us have struggled at times but I don't know what I would do without! ❤️ That's good news you have a fertility check booked, whereabouts are you in your cycle just now?

Agree @minthumbugs it's also weird to ask other about babies not only because of fertility . People used to ask me a lot about 'when we're having kids' and the problem was that my OH hasn't asked me yet/we haven't had that conversation. And it was putting pressure on my with people's comments.

Also I've asked my friend once 'when's she having a second' (her baby is 6 months old) and she said she's only had sex with husband about 5 times and she seemed upset about it. I kept my mouth shut since then.
We've no idea what others are going through, maybe a couple are having a rough patch and people are annoying them with questions of a baby.

It's weird because no one would ask an obese person 'when are they losing weight' or an old person 'when are they moving to aged person home'

It was a proper giggle, did the first lot of makeup after the first couple drinks, our other gay friend came shortly after with more alcohol. Watched Eurovision fails on YouTube, had cocktails.
OH walked in while I’m doing the 2nd lot of makeup, just looks at him and says “Oh, hello Chloe” and then joined in with the drinking.
Will definitely have to do that again 😂

Yes totally @Veronika13, it's such a heated and emotive topic! Just after my second MC people were saying 'oh you can just try again' and I was absolutely distraught because OH wasn't sure if he was on board yet. Something so innocuous can really hurt. No idea what's going on behind closed doors so the best shout is to wait for people to bring it up with you! X

@Veronika13 @minthumbugs agree. I mean its something so personal that until someone opens up about it its not something that should be asked for these reasons
1- they probably arent trying
2- they are and waiting
3-they are bur having fertility issues and getting pressurised.
If only ppl learn to mind their business

It is such a personal subject TTC and agree unless approached by that person then I wouldn't ask. I haven't told anyone of our plans as don't want any unnecessary pressure from either side of families or friends for that matter. Glad I found this site so can offload some chat though:-)

@Purpleshoes123 CONGRATULATIONS!! I was wondering if you'd tested today and now my toddler is distracted by a snack bowl and film I thought I'd log on and check. Wonderful news!! ❤❤❤

I've successfully not tested today yet... Still symptom spotting though. Randomly got EWCM again which is new?? And last night while having a bit of a BD (for pleasure not duty at 12dpo ) I had to try about 4 different positions because my cervix was super uncomfortable and tender (not to disparage my husband, but not a usual problem).

Still trying to hold out until Thursday when AF is due before I use that last test. That will be 15dpo and I would have usually spotted and cramped all the day before. So weird feeling so positive and negative about my chances this cycle all at the same time.

Anyone got any insight on the recurrence of the EWCM? I've been creamy for a while (yellow tinged at times) but definitely EW and stretchy all day today. So much so I did an opk just to check I wasn't ovulating but a definite negative!

I didn't know whether or not to post this today... I got my BFP this morning!!!! ❤️ From yesterday's BFN, I now have 1-2 weeks on a CB digi. Not sure if it should be more. It doesn't feel real and I'm so anxious!

I know @Rinylou I was going to wait until tomorrow morning since yesterday was negative but after Purpleshoes' news this morning I thought oh well the worst that happens is its negative and I have no more tests for tomorrow 🤷‍♀️ the devil on your shoulder is saying do it 😉 but the angel is saying wait for FMU!

Yesssssssssss @minthumbugs I knew it! (I just didn't want to give false hope in case I was wrong). Definitely saw lines. I'm so so so so so thrilled 😍❤️😍❤️😍🐿️ Also 1-2 is perfect. 1-2 weeks from conception not 1-2 weeks pregnant. Your GP will probably put you at 5-6 based on last AF but when you get dating, they might change it to reflect later ov.

Congratulations to @Purpleshoes123 too I knew that positive opk was good news.

Totally overjoyed for you both.

I'll try to respond to others too. Just having a 5 min lunch break but probably here until gone 9pm again tonight and hubby is in hospital having smashed his head open 😩

Thank you @CycloGoose 😭 you were totally right with the lines on the second one even when I couldn't see it! This is the earliest I've ever had a BFP - last period was 5 weeks ago today and I think I ovulated 2 weeks ago today so perhaps am just right on the border of 1-2 and 2-3 🤞🏻 my little squirrel!! 🤣

I'm such a fiend. I just got out my non FRER and obviously it's a BFN! (I can't crack with my one Clearblue because I'm not meant to be testing without my husband there too and he knows about that one 😂)

I'm getting slight line eyes with the negative image but only because I've started so hard at the damn thing 😭

I had the strongest line like 5 days before my period was due with my son. So frustrating! But I'm doing it to my damn self 😂
