Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Thanks for the support ladies. Ya hard to believe the clinic are closed Sunday-think they are saturday too! The pharmacy I got the medications from gave me their emergency number coz they said the clinic don't answer the phones after 5pm!!

My dd just asked if she could buy a brother and sister 😂 it's funny she never normally mentions them but it's like she really knows when to ask!

I looked at the sheet from the clinic and it said no unprotected sex until they confirm max 2 follicles growing...so I'm thinking once I have the day 9 scan we may be allowed but then the advice is 2/3 days abstinence for the sperm. Gah! Ivf defo seems preferable now @paintfairy! We're just going to go for it and keep everything crossed. And manifest a baby obviously 🤣

@Minster2012, that defo looks like a dye stealer to me. I hope you're doing ok. Hard not to worry I know but take it day by day and today you are pregnant.

@paintfairy I hate wasting test, but I also need to know for sure 🤷

DH says it feels like I am watching a soap and telling him the plot, what you talking about man? It's my life!

@MartyMcShy with mine they told us to dtd the night before my day 9 scan and then inseminated early day 10 so the sperm wasn't even 2 days old! I will be much more careful next time and not listen to what they tell me. 🤣 Our sperm isn't amazing so it needs 2 days at least I would think.
I'm OK. I knew. So it was no shock. I am more bothered about having to go through the palava again. If we weren't wfh I'm not even sure how we would have managed it!

@paintfairy really sorry on the BFN, but we've decided that was the test run right? They might give you more progesterone to stop the spotting who knows. I got an applicator it's like a stick with an egg cup at the end that you press upwards to release the progesterone, however my nurses said you can just use a clean finger & I often found that best.

@MartyMcShy thanks, I'm trying to be on a positive hit today, the sun is shining & it's not howling wind & rain like yesterday so that's improving the mood. Gonna do some tidying in the garden too. I am also manifesting us all babies as we speak, Cos I can control that right?! Talking of which when is selling sunset back??

@Kirky658 oh nice to hear that from someone who's seen them before! I have no clue what I'm looking at lol but they seem neat.

@2020mission I wasn't allowed to DTD at all from CD1 to lap in case I got pregnant as that would have meant they'd flush the blastocyst away (lap was at 6DPO I think). So def no miracle baby here!

@paintfairy BOO to the BFN. I reckon I'd just focus on this meaning you're one step closer to IVF (in a positive way!)?

@juno231 they look like they're healing brilliantly well. Did you get dissolvable stitches? My AF was delayed after my lap, I think it came about 3 weeks or so after, i wasn't having periods though as I was on the mirena before the op x

Congrats @madeoftea. @paintfairy sorry to hear about BFN but af hasn't arrived so you arent out yet. @Minster2012 it must be so hard not to worry and as the others have said it won't achieve anything just wastes you energy and stops you enjoying the good. @franklydear how are you? I know you were thinking about no more ttc did you speak to DH, sorry if you've already said. I'd tried but he's having none of it thinks I just need to chill out about it all, wish it was that easy.......Sorry if I've missed anyone else's news I'll try and keep up

@Kirky658 yes dissolvable stitches and I'm so grateful for the healing so far. I'm normally the type of person where every single scratch seems to get infected and takes ages to heal so I was expecting the worst. Funny that you said that about AF! I literally just googled it and yeah apparently it can be delayed by weeks. I imagine that would be due to an impact on ovulation but my lap was done during the TWW so I'm intrigued to see what happens. Not fussed either way I guess!

OH is now convinced we'll conceive in our July campervan holiday and he's so excited about the prospect of having that as a conception story lol!

@juno231 that's Brill they're so much better. I remember after my first op they didn't dissolve properly and I had to have them out after 3 weeks, bleurgh. This time they went of their own accord and dropped out in the shower eventually. I was also terrified about an infection tbh, the dressings are usually pretty good though as long as you keep them clean and dry you're good to go. You don't look too bruised either luckily! Hahaha awww that would be a lovely story!!! My consultant told us to start ttc right away so I hope you get an amazing outcome you so deserve it ❤️

@Kirky658 They only suggested the mini pill or Mirena as treatment which obviously isn't an option whilst TTC so they basically shooed me out the door saying just get pregnant ASAP then...like okayyy, that's kind of the plan! I wasn't that impressed with them tbh, they wrote in the letter that I'm TTC but using condoms as contraception sooooo....yeah, doesn't fill you with confidence

We're only starting to TTC this month so I'm going to give it a while and hopefully my Endo clinic appointment will come through in the next few months. If I'm pregnant by then then amazing but if not, I'll push for the lap ASAP. I'm 37 later this month so don't want to leave it too long but like @Minster2012 said, I don't want to write myself off yet either...just keeping my fingers crossed

@polkadotpixie ahh that makes sense I'm glad they're referring you to an endo clinic as well so at least you're being seen by a specialist if it comes to it! Let's hope it doesn't affect you ttc and you fall naturally, got everything crossed for you ❤️

@Juno231 yeah they're tiny! I'm up and down. I felt fine yesterday so did some cleaning and decorated the house for oh birthday but felt like I'd been hit by a bus by the afternoon. Having a few twinges today on my left side so just taking it easy. Next update if tomorrow 😬
