Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@dollybird89 I'm so sorry you didn't get the job role you applied for, it sucks when you're turned down with no feedback. Unfortunately I think that's how recruiters have become, I applied for one back end of last year and interviewed end of Jan and aced the interview etc, and I'd told them I was pregnant. I never heard a peep. Every call and email was ignored. Absolutely shocking. Have a wine for me babe x

Ds teacher also did parent teacher today, and due to not feeling great I could do the call instead of dh (we did not consider the possibility yesterday, no we didn’t), she’ll be grateful I booked the last slot as I always stress her out, sorry but I need so much more than 10 minutes he’s doing fine... we get on well, she doesn’t seem to hate me but She knows I’ll drill her, she says it feels like a job interview

@Haiyaa I always take better af when it comes in full a bit early than really late spotting...

@Dollybird89 I'm really sorry about the job application, I'm also sorry your appt is so far away but well done for getting one!!

@larrythelizard my understanding is generally your LP is about the same, so even if you ovulated later your cycle would be longer... so 🤞🏼 ie my LP was always 12 days, now it seems to be 13. But no matter when I ovulate AF is always 12-13 days later?

With a glass of wine all around, alcohol free doesn't exist on this bus- alcohol on our bus is perfectly okay throughout pregnancy 😂

@Dollybird89 sorry about the job that's crappy, I think sometimes recruitment is just a box ticking exercise. I've seen it before when they already have people lined up for the role and it's shit. Drink all the wine!

@Vil10 that's crappy too about ex and sister, unfollow, block whatever is best - you should also drink all the wine 🍷 and @Franklydear with the vaccine - wine for you too! I'm also going to join in the alcoholic club tonight, haven't really drank for a whole year!

@DKDK123 I heard that advertised on the radio and thought it sounded really good, I'll have to get it on catch up!

DH came in from work, abruptly grabbed me, jiggled me about by my hips and belly then proceeded to shout directly at my belly "fuckinggggg ovulate" if that doesn't get the little eggs quaking in their boots to make a move I don't know what will 🙄 @larrythelizard maybe you could try too? We can compare results 🙈

Aha ok interesting @blackcurrantqueen. Even if no AF this weekend I know there'd be no point testing/considering a BFP until at least 12 DPO I don't think!

DS lost his shit in a massive way when he got in from nursery because I was still in a meeting and I wouldn't let him in my (home) office.

Apparently DH hasn't ever seen him that upset and I'm a bad mother for not rushing out and seeing him even though a) he has two capable parents and b) it sounds like my job might be in trouble as they've massively changed how we work and my team are trying to work out how to get out of it.

@franklydear how did the parents evening go? My DH always says he'd prefer parents to ask loads of questions and genuinely show interest but he's had several parents not join their allotted video calls tonight.

@larrythelizard I hate that. You are in no way a bad mother because your kid had a tantrum and you didn't immediately drop everything! Sometimes you just can't do that and it's unfair your DH tried to put that on you because he couldn't cope with it

I had an entire tree's worth of fertility paperwork drop through the door this morning and a super unhelpful text from the NHS going "you've been referred" but not actually saying which referral it's for (endocrinology or fertility). AF has finally stopped though, so that's nice.

Thanks for the support ladies... I'm now swimming in happy land ☺️🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 having super deep convos with oh discussing meaning of life etc lol now I have the giggles 🤣 not envying myself tomorrow morning!!!

@Vil10 hope you're okay. That sucks. My half brother has a lot of problems with his mum and I always say to my OH she doesn't deserve to be blessed with a child.

@larrythelizard my consultant used to say over 30 for "good" ovulation. My progesterone on the day of my transfer was 527!!!

@InkyPaper yay to progress though and the end of AF! That deffo needs celebrating

I can sympathise with those of you who are having issues with doctor's appointments. I got a letter today from the fertility clinic saying I'd been referred and to expect an appointment in over 52 weeks!

Of course I immediately rang and left a sarky voicemail asking if they were for real and a nice man called me back saying it is more like 3 months for fertility (as opposed to general gynaecology) but I'm top of the list for cancellations because he thought I sounded fun and he likes my name.

Flirting my way to get a fertility appointment. Bizarre but happy to do anything to help myself at this stage!

@Kirky658 parents evening went really well, ds is making massive progress, both academically and in terms of focus and independent work, he’s still behind expected level, but that’s an arbitrary line, she thinks he’s getting more mature and expanding friendships, new school has gotten in contact, send her questioners, and asked her to set aside an hour for a meeting with new senco to talk about his learning needs and adaptations, she mentioned crappy school hasn’t made contact
even though most of the class is going there, I always have a list of points I want to touch, so I don’t get sidetracked, I don’t think she dislikes my style, but it seems unfair they only give the same time as parents of neurotypicals, when I have many issues to check that it wouldn’t occur to them, so it feels intense, I also take notes in this meetings, seems to unnerve some teachers, not the good ones

@InkyPaper I felt really tired and headachy, didn’t eat much, went to bed at nine and now fully awake and feel fine, so you get midnight ramblings
@bez91 I’ll get on the vino tonigh I think, I haven’t drunk anything alcoholic since Christmas, mostly due to lack of enthusiasm

@Kirky658 I said last night that my 2nd jag didn't have an impact, just looked at my dates this morning and I'm on CD18 and still haven't ovulated (usually ov day 13/14), my 2nd jag seemed like ages away but when I checked this morn I only had it at the end of Feb so it actually has delayed ovulation again this cycle! 🤦‍♀️ Ah well at least I know what to expect, the last time I ended up with a 45day cycle followed by 2periods in the one month before it went back to normal.

Sorry AF got you @haiyaa but glad you were prepared for it and that you're taking the positives out of it, hooray for fluffy 70s bush linings!

@bez91 I may need to ask DH to try jiggling my belly and shouting at my eggs to see if that works 😂

@Franklydear glad to hear parents evening went well. Do you not get TAC meetings for DS? Our ASD pupils get a meeting every 3 months that lasts as long as it needs to, most are roughly about 30 mins but I've been in ones that have gone one an hour plus, it just depends on the needs of the child and how much everyone needs to say. And minutes are taken at each meeting and everyone gets a copy so parents don't need to worry about taking notes. Plus we do phone calls home every week to update on their week and write in their learning journals so parents are kept well informed throughout the year. How are you feeling today after your jag?
