Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@MartyMcShy I didn't drink but only because I didn't want to. I don't drink often. But had I fancied it then I would have. In the first half of the cycle it doesn't matter i wouldn't have thought, just like normal?

I rang the hospital and I'm in the book for iui this month. They'll call me if they decide i can have it. I can't do next month (away) so I'm hoping they can.

@Kirky658 I'm still feeling hopeful for greece in July but not Mexico in June, I hope you get the news you want!! It's just been on the news he's announcing at 5pm tonight, when I'm at work and can't have my phone so no access to the news😂

Ladies I just saw a very silly question on the conception board - I laughed and the lady removed the thread but I'm still giggling about it. She was worried she wouldn't conceive because she'd BD with a full bladder and thought it would crush her reproductive organs????

Ah you poor thing with that drink, sounds delish and one id defo go for!! I'm sure I'll cave at some point this weekend and have a drink of some sort. My sister's have a bday weekend so that's meals sat and sun, pretty hard to avoid it! Think I'll do sat as that'll be the friends night and sun is fam who know we're doing ivf. Question for you actually...I'm meant to be on a girls weekend in a couple of weeks and I didn't want to tell them all about ivf but where am I gonna store my drugs? Was thinking a cool bag but that won't stay cool for 48 hours out of fridge will it? 🤔

We've been in turmoil for the past 2 weeks as I got a letter from the fertility clinic for an appointment that I wasn't expecting (remember the last appointment ended with all tests are fine the only suggestion is lose some weight see if that helps). I didnt know if I was emotionally strong enough to get my hopes up and go back through it all again so we have been going back and forth about whether to cancel it and make peace with not ttc for my mental health or go ahead with it and go back onto the emotional rollercoaster of repeated CPs but potential hope if the clinic had something else to try. After our break away last week we decided to go ahead with the appointment and see what they wanted to try. I've just had the clinic on the phone to me there saying they've just realised they made an admin error and I don't have an appointment on Monday after all it was just a mistake that I got a letter sent out!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 FML all that turmoil trying to decide and then getting our hopes raised again for nothing! @Minster2012 I'm going to have ALL the wine in the world on your behalf tonight!

You know you're a bit of a hole when you're eating bombay mix for breakfast.

14 dpo and a BFN this morning.

It makes sense, temperatures over the last two weeks are suggesting that I didn't ovulate. Boobs are saying otherwise.

I know its not over until the crimson lady sings.

My "fuckboy" cycles (as we are calling them now) mean that I'm waiting for my period to arrive - who knows when - and then its at least 6 weeks before I'm here again.

The only good news is that we might be able to get to Alton Towers before next TWW. Cause you can't go on a roller coaster when you're pregnant right?.... Right?!

@paintfairy fingers crossed you can go on this cycle

@notyetamumbuttrying on the drinking sat rounds the right idea, but for the girls weekend away you can get ice packs that stay cold for 24/48 hours bit tbh I'd then worry it was too cold or too warm so I'd just put them in the fridge in a bag & would be prepared to tell ppl if they asked but not actually mention it myself. Some friends would know not to ask if you haven't said anything, others might. But you can get the packs like in the Gousto boxes that are colder for longer.

@larrythelizard yes we did, that was my first ever ovulation since coming off chemo in may 2019, I've had my bloods checked numerous times & each time came back with less than one for progesterone after that point & often had to bring on AF with northisterone so this was my first ever confirmed ovulation, and I mean EVER cos I was on depo from age 17 to nearly 36 & didn't have periods. For my previous egg collections I never had a period we just had to do scans to determine the right point as after 5 months my period didn't come in after depo & I was only allowed a 6 month break from my chemo 😬 somehow it's magically just settled after my chemo /lack of cortisol may have repressed it 🥳

@Juno231 I don't know why you live here? Its a shthle. I wouldn't given the choice. Sweden looks nice but then it also looks cold and I'm not sure I could deal with that? We've been watching Wallander though and i keep meaning to ask you if it's really like that or if it's nonsense tv and not like how it looks on there at all! 🤣 I've never been to any of those countries up north actually.

As for the conception board 🙄🤣

@paintfairy ha so Wallander takes place in Ystad which is not far from my hometown - it's riiiight in the South though and our county looks nothing like the rest of Sweden. We're the bread basket of the country so it's all just agricultural and flat. Up north it's all forests and lakes but what most people forget about Sweden is just how much coastline and how many islands we have. Eg if I lived in Stockholm I'd def have a summer house on an isolated island as the whole place is an archipelago!

Thing is it's freezing cold and I'm not a big fan of the people... There's no variety, everyone dresses the same, thinks the same etc and they LOVE to moan and be jealous of others successes. Culturally I'm much more happy here where no one looks at me like I'm a foreigner (Swedes immediately want to know where I'm actually from as my hair is dark), and people in general are much more friendly, caring and open!

£200/month nursery and free university though.... ouch.

That's me this morning, after my low estrogen and progesterone blood results I finally had my telephone call from doctors 5 weeks later to discuss results. The doctor was shit, you get someone new every time. She hadn't read my notes, didn't give a flying fuck, kept saying "oh bless you", didn't want to entertain any of my questions and told me to ring back and book 21 day bloods again (rather than her book them) to see if another anovulatory cycle. That's fine,I thought they may say that although that date isn't available right now 🤦🏼‍♀️ but I'm feeling really teary that she was just so shitty.

I'm quite chilled tbh, know there's no point thinking or stressing until next weekend when I'm due lol

I have 2 children already but both were surprises (15 and 11 years ago!) so I've never TTC before so all new to me, let's see if I'm this chilled in 3 months if no BFP...

I had my coil out after 10 years in March and got had a very emotional first 5/6week before my first short and sweet AF and thought I'd spoil myself with a clear blue digital opk and was surprised to get a nice happy face after a few days flashing last weekend and took advantage of my man as much as he would let me 🤣🤣 before complaining he felt used and hard done to... most men would love their women to jump them all the time right?!? Haha

Girls I'm afraid it's bad news from my scan. There was no heartbeat and baby stopped growing at 9 weeks again. 💔💔💔
