Welcome back to the bus where anything goes, hop aboard, tell us about you & we’ll be here for you (there’s a song in there somewhere!).

This bus has a growing bunch of gorgeous black and white springy pups on board, tortoises & 2 feisty little kittens so bring your pets and pictures are obligatory 🤗.

We’ve got TTC happening in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@franklydear I feel ur pain. I'm a manager in a shop. On leave since nov 2018 and due back in Sept after 1yr on the sick and 2 yrs on carers. I'm dreading going back as 1 staff member licked the ballsack of area managers and me and him dont get on. I was in the process of catching him out with very dodgy business and ended up out due to my son been in hospital. But the pr1ck is still there and I'm dreading going back but my jobs safe and dont know how he will feel about working under me again. I think his issue was with women over him. He had no issue with men. And everything u pull him on its yes sir, no sir, 3 bags full sir. Yea full of shit 🙈 I'm gone try taking parental leave and only working 25hrs a wk. I've a feeling the shop will close and dont want missing out on redundancy

@2alreadywantanother same position, we are due to be closed, if the vipers are to be believed, it'll be a lot of money, no point in complaining in my industry, perhaps we work on the same sector

How dare AF arrive when my rhr hasn't dropped any more! 🤬 I also really needed it to wait until tomorrow because of the timing of next cycle being a Sunday now. 🙄 Grrr. Anyway- definitely not pregnant.

So the doctor rang today and told me my prolactin level was even higher in the repeat test, so she was referring me to the endocrinology department at the hospital as they want to rule out a prolactinoma (a benign tumour on the pituitary gland). So yeah. There's that. All I could think to ask was what was happening with the fertility referral 😂🙈 she went "you've filled in the questionnaire right?" And then sounded so surprised when I said no 🙈 it was literally the first time she'd said anything about it, so they'll be sending me that to fill in. But she did say that I should probably poas again just on the off chance it is high because of pregnancy. So I'll be doing that tomorrow

So yeah. Trying not to worry about the endocrinology appointment as worrying won't change the outcome.

@InkyPaper I guess the positive is that they can sort out your high prolactin and that it hopefully means a bfp is just round the corner for you?

@Haiyaa I mean, that would be the dream right? 😄 I'm holding out a tiny bit of hope. Last time I tested with a CB digital so maybe it was just too early for that test? Who knows. Time will tell on all things!

Ds had a fab day, after school club truly spoiled him, I knew they would, then we had cake and awaiting kebabs for dinner, will start the round of phone everyone soon,
Dhs moodiness has been explained, things were tense at work, but it transpired they fired his manager and he’ll take over, might be permanent

Sounds great @Franklydear glad DS has had a good day and good choice on dinner. We’re having one at the weekend chicken and lamb shish with salad and chilli sauce 🤤 plus the obligatory cheesy chips!

What's the hook effect? I've never heard this before.
@Minster2012 oh no willy talk, after 2 girls I wouldn't have a clue what to say to a boy. If I do ever have a boy he'll be getting sent straight to his Dad!!!

@larrythelizard thanks lovely! Yeah, she actually seemed on the ball today, which was good. It is all happening in parallel luckily. I just need to fill in a questionnaire they're going to send me and DH needs to do his final SA. Then that should be it on the fertility side

@dob78 the hook effect is when your hCG is higher than the levels a pregnancy test can detect so it causes a false negative. It's why it's recommended to stop testing after a couple of weeks late.

I'm so sorry @paintfairy, totally sucks. Fuck you af! I believe the anti climax though. Iui seems like nothing to the clinics. Did you have a few drinks while you were doing the injections? Or anyone else? I really feel like a glass of wine and normally have a few during at the weekend but don't know if I should now!

@MartyMcShy I had a couple of beers over the weekend and started injections yesterday. Have my sisters bday this weekend so will prob have a shandy or lite beer but not wine. I might think differently if they have prosecco though 😆 I'll prob weaken it with lemo or soda, such a crime to prosecco 🥲

@Juno231 i know feels exactly the same for me, first trimester went so slow and these last few weeks have flown by 🙈 can't believe i have appointments every 3 weeks for the next 3 then down to 2. aaah!

@notyetamumbuttrying thanks, finally met my midwife who looked after me in the ward after i'd given birth to DS. haven't seen her since and she remembered me so was lovely! defo an OG🤪 looked back yesterday and think i joined around 23rd april last year!

@lucyrp think I was the same week and probably found this bus in early May. Omg how lovely that you got to see her again and she remembered you! I bet she was so happy for you 🥲
