@Sam8582 are you taking anything? I did some research after last cycle and apparently vitamin c is needed to thicken the uterus and I checked my diet and I wasn’t getting enough so I’ve been taking some this month just incase. I’m currently 3DPO so no idea if it’ll be the same or different. All my previous cycles before TTC I had 14 days before AF arrived so I’m hoping it’s a one off! I’m feeling good about this cycle though, just a lot less anxious and calm. If it happens again for you can you go see a GP? I know mine won’t send me for any tests till it’s been a full year so OH says if we’re concerned about anything we’re just gonna pay for tests privately cause he doesn’t want to wait 😂

@Sam8582 Hey.. just saw your post about your Luteal phase - 10/11 days isn't bad really. They say as long as it's in double digits, it's actually ok. I was concerned about mine as I had two 22 day cycles in a row which gave me an 8 or 9 day LP. I actually called the doctor as I was concerned. My concerns were dismissed as there isn't actually any medical proof that this is an issue. He advised that the most important part of your cycle is the follicular phase, this needs to be a decent length so that the egg reaches a decent maturity level and isn't released too soon.

After my 2 x 22 day cycles, my following cycle lengthened to 25 days and then the cycle after that, I got my BFP! (Last week).
I'm not sure why my cycles were so short and then why it lengthened by a few days.. I wouldn't say I did anything different. Good luck 🙂 xx

TTC #2 been trying for a while now, had a couple of miscarriages and feeling deflated.

Currently late for period, BFN feeling unwell and ready to start a new cycle now!

@Confused678866 that makes me feel better too. My last 3 cycles have been 25 days and my luteal phase around 10/11 days also. After reading some stuff I was worried this wasn't enough. Xx

AF arrived 1 day early for me this morning! And is absolutely agonising this month😫

10 Day Follicular Phase and 14 Day Luteal Phase.
Is there anyone here with a similar cycle and has successfully conceived as I’m really becoming concerned that I’m ovulating too early and my eggs are not maturing as they should.

Glad to be starting a new cycle though, positive vibes for Cycle 6 🤞🏼

Ooh thanks for that @AllyCat31, I didn't know that about vit c so will get some, I could defo use a top up I'm sure. I'm on folic acid, b12 and vit d at the mo, mainly due to having coeliac disease so might be worth having a chat with docs about that now we're trying to conceive.
Ahh good to hear you're less anxious this cycle, what cycle are you on? Haha, mine thinks the same, if any initial testing needs to be done just do it quickly 😂 I'm 38 so could go docs after 6months but only on 3rd cycle and I'm hopeful I won't need to go down that route. Thanks @Confused678866 that's really reassuring to hear, it's such a minefield isn't it, so nice to hear that a doc told you that :) you are living proof then a few different length cycles doesn't mean it can't happen. Have you done your final test this weekend, was it a digital you were planning on doing? Congratulations again, lovely to hear all the different experiences which then lead to bfps 💕

@Sam8582 Yeah, its mind boggling isn't it and it stresses you out. My cycles have varied since coming off the pill which was September last year but I've only really been tracking since December and then we started trying in January.
No, I didn't both with the CB Digital as I did another FRER yesterday morning and it was darker, so I'm happy that the lines are progressing. I'm not testing anymore though! Xx

@Meg9717 sorry to hear af arrived :/ Sorry, can't really advise about your cycle, I'm pretty much the opposite way around to you phase wise. Good luck for this cycle 🤞🏻

@Meg9717 my cycles are similar my follicular phase seems to be 12 Days then luteal phase 14 days. Do you ovulate on day 10 or is that when you first get a peak OPK reading? As you maybe ovulate up to 48 hours after that?

From what I've read online they say a short follicular phase is less than 10 days, so hopefully we are both ok? Xx

I've had my scan today they couldn't see anything but wasn't expecting them to as I'm only around 4 weeks, going back for bloods tomorrow to see if hcg has progressed.

@Confused678866 this is my first response from last night now that it's dried out, using my last tonight then no more as it's to stressful, it's definitely my darkest line I've had x

@carlsi6 thanks hun, I've got no cramping or bleeding, have no symptoms really odd back ache here and there but think it's normal x

I get my positive on day 9/10 and a lot of pain on day 10 so assume that’s when ovulation happens for me x

I had a feeling scan wouldn't be able to see anything just yet as it's very early. Fingers crossed your bloods show your HCG rising 🤞🏻 how are you feeling? Xx

@Twochews78 good luck to you for tomorrow, I started testing and getting low results at the mo, my app indicates Tuesday is the beginning of my fertile week, that will be cycle day 13 which feels about right for me!xx

@Confused678866 yeah thank you, I haven't had any problems or pain or anything other than that faint test which I think must of just been diluted, so hoping it's all fine x

@Sam8582 I’m only cycle 2 of TTC but I’m cycle 4 since coming off the pill. I wish I had come off the pill earlier cause my cycles are very long but slowly speeding up. I’m taking seven seas (folic, vitamin d, b12, iron etc) but also taking vitamin c, e, q10 and I took some soy CD3-7 too. If I’m successful this cycle I will have no idea what it was that worked! Literally throwing everything at it cause I’d like to get to second trimester before work make us go back into the office 😂😂

I got a faint line yesterday so got quite excited but was a shadow this morning, going to test this evening as I always get stronger lines then to see but I don't have a good feeling :(
