So much to catch up on 🙈

@abbs1 sorry for your loss ❤️ that's sounds really tough 💕 I hope you get your positive soon this time :)
Hopefully you don't HG this time that sounds awful!

@amyannx and @Confused678866 they are looking good congratulations!!!

@Court2611 I somehow missed your post congratulations!

@Twinkles18 ive never had an issue with opks and diluted urine, when not positive it's been fainted if diluted but I've got a positive off super diluted wee and it looked the same as later that day with normal (could have been a coincidence) I also found the best time for me to not be too hydrated and test to get the best results is about 10 am and about 3-4 in the afternoon :)

@outdoor444 welcome :)
I'm not sure about pcos but I think I read it can cause no ovulation so if you're ovulating I'd say a good sign (I'm not 100% on what it causes so might be better answered by someone else or a dr ...so sorry about my pretty useless comment 🙈)

@baabiee I could be wrong but I think the cb tests more than just the LH (what the cheaper opks test) so I think the cheap opk take the first positive and you should ovulate writhing 24-36 hours. I think the cb might detect the day of or before ovulation I'm not 100% are you temping? A temperature rise would confirm ovulation so might be worth trying that next month if this isn't your month (but 🤞🏻 it is!)

@SkaterChick LOVE the idea of a craft space!

@DreadedTWW ive had stabbing and pulling pains, both when pregnant and not sorry that's not much help. I think when ttc our senses our heightened and we notice everything

@Twochews78 good luck with your blood tests on Monday!

@Awils03 welcome! Sorry for your loss ❤️ 🤞🏻 this is your month
You can have multiple peaks if your body tries to ovulate and doesn't it will try again, you can also peak before af

@AlmostLondoner ahh so annoying when that happens, hope it happens for you soon!

@Haley1256 welcome! Have you recently come off contraception or usually have irregular cycles? Sometimes stress can have an impact so is it possible ttc or other things going on could have caused it? Do you track with opks/temp to know when you ovulated?
Last month I got a positive opk (super positive like you) and the next day frer was positive (unfortunately for me it ended in an early miscarriage) 🤞🏻 for you let us know how you get on. If you haven't confirm ovulation with a temp rise you might be ovulating late so I'd get busy just in case :)

firsttimemummy321 · 07/05/2021 06:25

I have no idea how many dpo I could be, little one disturbs my sleep so temps ares reliable
Could either be 9 8 or 7 dpo 😂🙈

Court2611 · 07/05/2021 06:33

@firsttimemummy321 Thankyou💗

@Confused678866 Yes this is my first, so excited! don’t think it will fully sink in till I see something lol definitely considering booking an earlier scan just so I know xx

Confused678866 · 07/05/2021 06:36

@firsttimemummy321 Thank you ☺️ xx

@Court2611 Haha yes, I know what you mean! I've booked a private scan for 4 weeks today - I can't wait until the 12 week one! I had a private one with my first baby too and it definitely helped calm my nerves xx

firsttimemummy321 · 07/05/2021 06:47

As my pp said I'm between 7-9 dpo and I'm getting ewcm when I wipe? Anyone else? Normally it goes after ovulation 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Confused678866 · 07/05/2021 08:24

@firsttimemummy321 Without trying to get your hopes up but I had this.. I don't ever get it after ovulation and I randomly had it. Couldn't tell you what DPO I was as I wasn't tracking it the last couple of months xx

WeCameToDance · 07/05/2021 08:36

Congratulations to everyone who got there positives! Wishing a very uneventful nine months for you! 🎉🎉

I’ve just been pondering something about opk’s and was wondering if anyone could answer. My life is insanely interesting as you can probably tell 😂

I tested with the clear blue monitor, the one that only shows smileys and circles. Not the fancy flashing one and got a static smiley last Friday morning I think. I looked at the lines inside and the test line was still fairly faint so I was confused. I tested the next day around mid day and the line was really strong! Like stronger than the control line. Then an hour later I tested again and it was gone, back to plain circles.

Does that mean I’d actually ovulated in the hour between the strong line and the blank circle!? I’m finding the fact that it can happen anytime in the 48 hours following a positive test really strange!
We dtd twice on the Friday and then once on the Saturday evening so I’m really hoping for a lucky month!

Awils03 · 07/05/2021 08:48

@WeCameToDance hi lovely!

When ovulation occurs it lasts for up to 48 hours, so if you DTD on Friday and Saturday (plus before Friday) sperm survives for up to 5 days so it is really hopeful you may have caught 🤞🏻

amyannx · 07/05/2021 08:51

@firsttimemummy321 thank you hun x

amyannx · 07/05/2021 09:00

@Confused678866 have you done another test today? I'm going to test tomorrow and stop
With FRER as my line is a little less dark or as dark as my test yesterday and it's now stressing me out! Although I think as I have left yesterday's to dry out it's got darker? I haven't had any cramps or anything but think if I keep testing it will be to stressful. Going to test tomorrow and then also do a digital then stop i think, here is the test too yesterday bottom just now x

Confused678866 · 07/05/2021 10:08

@amyannx Hey. No, I haven't tested again today - I'm going to test once more maybe tomorrow or Sunday and then leave it. I think today's test looks fine!
Mine dried darker too, I noticed yesterday when I got home from work. I've had stomach ache on and off but I've read that's normal in the first trimester because of all of the stretching etc? Xx

amyannx · 07/05/2021 10:11

@Confused678866 yeah I'm going to use my last FRER tomorrow then do the digital tomorrow or Sunday, yeah it's normal to have stomach ache I had that with my son, not got anything yet x

Confused678866 · 07/05/2021 10:14

@amyannx Let me know how you get on! I can't remember what I had with my son because I didn't know I was pregnant until 6/7 weeks so I can't compare to anything really! Xx

amyannx · 07/05/2021 10:16

@Confused678866 thank you will do, don't know if I should hold off until Sunday for the clear blue as I would be 4 weeks then by my dates but by the nhs app I was 4 weeks yesterday, are you going to use the digital? X

firsttimemummy321 · 07/05/2021 10:16

@Confused678866 ooo really?? Interesting! We will see :) 🤞🏻
Also yes I had cramps and pains with my first it's stretching :)

@WeCameToDance you should ovulate 24-36 hours (up to 3 days) after the positive ovulation test :)

@amyannx they are still good lines it takes 2-3 days for the hormone to double so best to compare tests taken a couple of days apart to see the difference :)

amyannx · 07/05/2021 10:17

@firsttimemummy321 thank you hun xx

polkadotpixie · 07/05/2021 10:21

AF is here 🙌 Just need here to bugger off again now so we can get started!

@amyannx I think your tests look fine, it's easier to compare 48 hours apart I think but I definitely don't think there's anything worrying about those tests

Miller2021 · 07/05/2021 10:26

I think I'm now on CD23 out of about 25 and only having occasional light cramps so far. I think (although I'm probably kidding myself) I'd normally have had some pretty nasty cramps by now if my period was on the way... took a FRER yesterday and it was negative though, will try again tomorrow.

Just wanted to comment that it is incredibly cruel that most of the symptoms I'm looking out for (weepiness, bloating, cramps etc etc) could mean either I'm pregnant or I have PMT! What a terrible system, grrr.

Confused678866 · 07/05/2021 11:01

@firsttimemummy321 Yes I remember it was a good few days after my 'fertile window' as that's all I was really tracking. I got a lot of EWCM during that time for a couple of days and then it completely stops so I remember I was quite surprised when hen I noticed it again! I actually remember the day I had it, it was the day we were celebrating my little ones second birthday so that would be about 9 days before I got my BFP.

Yes, I did read about the stretching so I think it's that as I've had stomach ache on and off since the other day! Xx

SouthwestSis · 07/05/2021 11:02

@firsttimemummy321

As my pp said I'm between 7-9 dpo and I'm getting ewcm when I wipe? Anyone else? Normally it goes after ovulation 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
I'm 11 DPO and getting it too, such a weird thing to be excited about haha! And close friends are having fertility woes so I don't have anyone to tell but you guys! Period is due in 3 or 4 days time so we'll see.....
KM11 · 07/05/2021 11:19

Congratulations on your BFP @Court2611 @amyannx @Confused678866 🎉🎉🎉 so very excited for you all. This month feels like a lucky one 🍀

Has anyone tried the SMEP, giving it a try this cycle but because my cycles are shorter than the average 28 days it's a bit confusing. Going for BD on CD5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15. I like the idea of having a more structured plan but what if my opks don't fit into this, so say I get a peak on CD 10, would I really wait until CD 11 to BD? Or BD 10,11, 12 then 14? Obviously I'd have already BD cd9, don't want to BD too much before the main event and run out of steam (happened numerous times in previous cycles)!!

Sorry for the rant guys, hope everyone is having a fab Friday xx

Confused678866 · 07/05/2021 11:23

@KM11 Thank you ☺️
I don't have any experience with the SMEP but I've noticed lots of ladies trying it. Hopefully someone on here can help with you it - good luck 🤞🏻😊 xx

amyannx · 07/05/2021 11:24

@KM11 thank you xx

firsttimemummy321 · 07/05/2021 11:29

@polkadotpixie hope she goes soon so you can get on it again 🤞🏻

@Miller2021 🤞🏻 do you know when you ovulated?
Yes the likeness of the symptoms is a cruel joke 😩 also think we're more in tune to them when ttc so think somethings new or more when probably isn't :(

@Confused678866 ah thank you that is really interesting I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Although I'm too impatient for a 9 day wait 😂🙈

@SouthwestSis 😂 I know before ttc I would rather not have any 😂😂😂 ooo 🤞🏻 you have great will power I've caved already 😂
Ah yeah same here so it's very difficult as no one really to talk to this thread is a godsend!

@KM11 ive not tried that method (we did it every day (normally) before our 1st so just carried on. Now we're doing it when we can fit it in around naps etc 😂 I don't think an extra day would harm I think it's more about covering all bases (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

Soooo I caved, I have zero will power! I tested with smu (4 hour hold)
I'm either 7 8 or 9dpo ...got pos at 8dpo with first so got tempted 😂
I think I have line eyes as I was sure there was a shadow or hint but then couldn't see it then could so yeah pretty sure I'm imagining it and it is stark negative (deffo is in the pic) but interestingly my opks are getting darker (part experiment part to help my poas addiction 😂) photos just because 😂🙈

@firsttimemummy321 ohhh dark opks is defo a good sign! I'm not sure about your frer, I thought I could see something then I opened the pic snd zoomed and then it looked negative but defo too early 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you
