@meg9717 its so deflating but dont rule out a bfp yet. With my 2nd baby (first lost through MC) i didn't get a BFP until 4 days after af was due so stay hopeful. Got my fingers crossed for you.
@ probablyabouttime the TTW can be a really anxious time. Its easy to say dont stress about it but its hard to do. Have you got things to try to keep you occupied? Thats what im trying to do so it doesnt completely consume me 🙈

Ohhh I feel for you! Same here, no real symptoms. I woke up today feeling really achey and pretty out of it though and hoped it meant something.
Unfortunately not!
Yeah I guess it’s still early but it’s hard not to count yourself out after seeing the bfn 😔

Thank you for this! I feel like I just know this month that it’s not going to happen for me and testing earlier confirmed it in my mind.
I’ll still be secretly hoping that I feel different in the next few days leading up to AF

@Baggingarea I'm using the CB advanced monitor. The first month didn't go well, had a meltdown as it kept telling me Low, convinced myself I was going through early menopause 🙄 second month I held my FMU until later and then started getting readings of high and then peak. Then forgot to restart next cycle and was 2 days behind and by the time it would let me test I was already at peak!! It's good but I now use it in conjunction with easy@home ovulation strips as my surge is very quick and I'd miss it only testing first thing in the morning. How are you getting on with it? 😁

Welcome @Baggingarea, it's definitely a lonely experience isn't it! Feel like it sends us all a bit crazy ha!

I have been using the Clearblue digital opks which detect your 2 most fertile days for the last 2 cycles and I have got my static smiley both cycles which is good to pinpoint what's going on with my body.

Fingers crossed we aren't waiting too long for our BFP x

@zizl I'm using the same. Found I have only one day of peak which I caught by testing twice a day. Ovulation day is due to be today based on that. Will see if temp rise tomorrow confirms it.

Anyone else ovulating today? Only DTD once yesterday, hubby got performance anxiety and I'm very dry! I have a stressful job...

@Baggingarea @KM11 I’m using the clear blue monitor and agree with you about testing times, iv ended up starting new cycles just to be able to test, then you have to wait for it to allow you to test! Can be frustrating, I was going straight from low to peak! I’m using the clear blue sticks along side this, the ones that give a smiley face at peak, I find these easier! But again once you get a peak you cant test again for 48 hrs, so I brought another pack, so now have two so I can test each day,
god so many sticks to pee on!!x

@zizl I've used the easy@home tests too and find them helpful, but I also use a Clearblue Digital just to be sure. I'm another one with a really rapid peak and would've missed this month for sure if I hadn't tested twice a day. I never get a flashy face on the clearblue - always straight to static smiley peak from low fertility. Pretty sure that this month I ovulated very close to getting my peak, maybe even same day. Which would make me 11dpo technically...

Hi all, its my first post here and my first cycle TTC.
I'm 33 and trying for baby #1
I'm tracking my periods using the Clue app to give me an idea about ovulation but my cycles have been all over the place since stopping the pill a year ago, is it worth me ovulation testing? I don't have loads of spare cash to spend on fancy kit.
I'd day 9 post what I think may have been ovulation time so here's hoping

@southwestSis maybe just try without testing first, enjoy it, I've only just started using the sticks as I've been trying for about 2 years now.

Yeah thats sort of what I was thinking, but my cycles are so variable it is difficult to have any idea when I might be ovulating!
But I will just go with it for now and see what happens. We are meant to be moving house next month so not exactly conducive to nice low stress levels around here atm but nevermind!

@Willow1982 I’m using cheap ones from Amazon and they say between 10-8. I’ve opted for 5 as I’m always at home then, plus I find it easier to restrict water around that time. That’s it, it would just be good to know! Thanks. Let me know when you start testing! xx

@KM11 @Willow1982 thanks for the welcome. Do you mean you physically have to input a new cycle has started? Oops Defs haven't done that! Will give the easy @ home a try too. Excellent intel! I started with the digital one but then bought the wrong refill strips and felt like I had to go the whole hog with CB advanced!

What does BFP mean? feel like I should know!!

Ladies I’m shook... I’m 9dpo today and just took an FRER cause I just can’t stop thinking about it and the worlds most faintest line showed up within 3 mins. The camera on my phone won’t even pick it up but it is deffo there - I’ve spent 6 months looking at stark white negatives and this is not a negative.
Feel like I’m going crazy I don’t know what to do lol can your eyes deceive you?!

I’m holding out testing until about 12dpo I think, I’m either 4dpo or 8dpo today, one app is saying I ov before peak opk due to temp rise but that can’t be right can it?
