1DPO - Anyone want to join for the 2WW?

Hello! First month TTC. Currently 1DPO, no symptoms as of yet, but already feeling stressed at the thought of not knowing if we were successful for two more weeks! Worried we didn't BD enough, we did every other day during the fertile window including day before O. Anyone got any advice or just want to join in the conversation to get us through the wait?

@Lalala1985 ah I'm 31 and have pco and a dodgy thyroid lol so probably is that for me too.

@JuniperAndTonic good luck for the morning! I'm 9dpo too and have a first response early test in my wardrobe but im too scared to test again lol 😆

@IzzT sorry about the bfn today, still early days though so plenty of time.

I still have to Google the words too and this is month 4 for us lol. Starting to learn some bits now 😆

Morning ladies, hope you’re all okay! Woke up this morning at 04.30 feeling absolutely awful - headache, nausea, aching all over including boobs and shivery like I had a fever but checked my temp and it was fine. Took a test and it was a BFN! No idea what’s going on with me, think my body is playing tricks on me haha! I feel better after some paracetamol!

Is anyone else testing today?? Fingers crossed for you all 🤞🏻

@JuniperAndTonic oh no! Glad you're feeling better with paracetamol. Still early for tests right? So fingers crossed you get a BFP (thanks again Google) in the next couple of days.

I'm 9dpo too and tested bfn this morning. I used an Internet cheapie as was too scared to use my first response early one as it'll be more accurate and I'd rather have that bit of hope for a bit longer lol 😆

@K8Tee my internet cheapie was bfn 9DPO with first morning urine but faint line in the evening so still definitely loads of time for BFPs.

@JuniperAndTonic oh no! Hope you're feeling better soon! Hopefully that's all symptoms and HCG just isn't high enough to see on a test yet!

Confirmed with a clear blue digital so feels much more real now! 🙈 I thought the tww was anxiety inducing, now I've got to get to the first scan!

So excited to hopefully see some more BFP's over the next few days on here! 🤞🤞❤

@Daisyrobin123 ah this is amazing! And getting the 2-3 weeks means there's a decent amount of HCG so very positive! I'm debating whether to take a digital or not? My internet cheapy was definitely a bit darker this morning that the one I did last night (I'll attach a photo of this mornings).

@IzzT Yours could show up on a frer as everyone says they are the most sensitive ones. Have you got any in the house or would you have to go and buy one?!

@Daisyrobin123 I'll have to go and buy one! Think I might go to Boots on the way home from work 😂 haven't told hubby yet because I wanted a decent second line so he doesn't think I'm mad! I can't keep it from him any longer though, so hopefully first response will be a bit more obvious. 😬

@Daisyrobin123 I joined the thread a bit prematurely, still very much in the conception stage. Won't be testing for another few weeks.

Thanks @IzzT and @Tangfastic91 I still don’t feel great! Only 10 DPO so it’s still early and maybe these are early symptoms 🤞🏻 Trying not to get my hopes up though!

Hope you get a good result if you end up doing another test later @IzzT!! I don’t think I’d be able to keep it from my husband 😂

So happy for your positive on the digital as well @Daisyrobin123 - I’m sure the scan will come around in no time!! Have you thought about booking an early private one for reassurance? I’m thinking of doing that if/when I get pregnant as I don’t think I’ll be able to wait the 12 weeks to know everything is okay!!

Yes I was thinking that too! I'm thinking of trying to get one for week 8/9. Trying to stay as positive as I can but reading all about MC's on these boards puts it in your mind!! X

@Daisyrobin123 I think that's why I'm nervous that my line is so faint. Worried it's not going to darken but I know it takes time! It's so easy to just jump to the worst case scenario 😬

@IzzT Fingers still crossed for you that that line darkens for you! I know that I've read that it could take more than 24 hours to be considerably darker. So I've still got lots of hope for you!

Congrats on the BFPs!

I'm only 5DPO and already symptom spotting 🙄. Mostly because I've had some cramping and my boobs hurt, which they don't usually this early in the cycle, and my pulsatile tinnitus has made a comeback for the first time in 5years (it was caused previously by hormonal issues and is a pregnancy symptom apparently).

I know it waaaaaaaay too early for any kind of symptom though! From a study I read the earliest you can implant is 5DPO and even then it'd take a few days before you get any symptoms so I don't really know why I do this to myself.

2ww here, have be NTNP on 1st cycle. That said we BD a lot this month. Shitting myself that it's not the right time/ can't afford it/ mid house buying/ wanting to get married in next 12 months.
I know if we wait on and on for the right time there will always be a reason to not be the right time.
I'm 37 this is my second marriage and this is our one (and only) 'blended' child that we both want.

@Lalala1985 I swear I felt so many random symptoms at 4-5DPO and then felt very little 6-9DPO and then got a VFL.

@Daisyrobin123 couldn't get a FRER but did manage to pick up a Clearblue early detection one and it was a decent line! Hubby has been told 😂 he says he's not going to believe it until AF is late. Why are men so sensible?! 🙈

@IzzT Now that is definitely your BFP!! Congratulations 😊🌷🌷 first cycle too!! You must feel so much better seeing that line after the cheapies. What DPO are you again?!

@Daisyrobin123 I’m only on my first cycle so still early days! It is really scary reading about miscarriages, I try not to read too much about it as chances are everything will be okay! As with everything, people are more likely to post about the bad stuff than the good! Looking forward to following everyone’s journeys!

Welcome @80sPadme, I’ve been the exact same even at 1DPO I was symptom spotting 😂 hopefully the week goes quick for you!

I’ve just been and bought myself a new car and I’m SO excited so that’s a nice distraction from TTC and the 2WW!! It’s will arrive in 3-4 weeks so just another reason to be counting down the days haha!

10DPO today I think although I think I probably O'd overnight based on the pain I get when ovulating, so maybe as much as 11DPO. I don't think I'll believe it until I see it on the digital but I'm going to leave that for a few days as I don't want to see a "not pregnant". Going to keep going with the internet cheapies too to make sure there's some line progression 🤞
