1DPO - Anyone want to join for the 2WW?

Hello! First month TTC. Currently 1DPO, no symptoms as of yet, but already feeling stressed at the thought of not knowing if we were successful for two more weeks! Worried we didn't BD enough, we did every other day during the fertile window including day before O. Anyone got any advice or just want to join in the conversation to get us through the wait?

So I went against everything I said yesterday and tested at 12 dpo at about 7pm got a BFP!

I'm still a bit in shock as I really had ruled myself out this month with feeling so under the weather. I was in the bath and had this sudden wave of nausea and decided to do an internet cheapie which came up straight away so decided to do a Frer! I'm super happy but also cautious that it's still early, hope it sticks!
I'm crossing my fingers for some more BFPs on here!

So got excited on the back of @Daisyrobin123 post... tested at 9DPO. Obviously a BFN 🙈 I know it's still early, but can't help feel a little dejected - I guess that's why everyone says not to test early 😂

Hi everyone, can I join? Completely new to this whole thing. Almost 30, first time trying, and had been pretty much in the childfree camp until now. Covid certainly shifted some perspectives that's for sure... Only CD9 so enjoying the fun part for now ha!

@IzzT Thank you! You're still early, give it a couple more days as you still might only have implanted yet and even then it might take a couple of days to show 🌷🤞

@extrababydust123 Thank you! Fingers crossed it sticks 🤞. I've felt tugging in my tummy all morning and thinking about it now I've had a heightened sense of smell the last couple of days but that's all.

I'm really glad I used OPKs otherwise I think I would have missed it like I did last month. We DTD lots this fertile window!

Heya hope it's OK if I join? On 3rd cycle TTC, but not sure we'll have much success this month as ovulated on CD12 which I read is a little too early for the egg to be healthy. I've been vaguely tracking my cycles for the last few years and have noticed that if I ovulate from my right it's very painful and always earlier, usually I ovulate around CD15-17 on the left.

Anyway weirdest thing happened after DTD on ovulation day: as soon as we'd finished my cat jumped on the bed and started kneading around my uterus - it's like he was trying to help!

@Lalala1985 oh god don't say that. I normally get my peak ov test on day 11-13. 😬

Anyone trying without ovulation tests? I seem to get a stabbing pain each month (alternates sides) around CD15 so I'm going to try without testing for a few months and see how it goes.

@Tangfastic91 I think that's quite possible. I get ovulation pain too but I usually get a high, then a couple of days of peak then get the pain at the end, so I usually use OPK's so I know when ovulation is about to happen and DTD everyday through those high and peak days. My OPKs usually go back to low within a few hours of ovulation pain.

But I think that's different for everyone.

@K8Tee I'm sure you'll be fine, it's if it less that 11 days and you should be ovulating 24-48 hours after your peak so plenty of time.

Apparently shorts follicular phases are a sign of getting old and having less eggs left :( I'm 35 so that makes sense for me.

@Tangfastic91 I haven’t been using ovulation tests - mainly because I wanted to be relaxed to start with and not getting obsessed with peeing on a stick! I may start in a few months time if it’s not happening but for now just listening to my body - looking for signs like egg white cervical mucous and I also often get ovulation pain same as you! Good luck with everything!

I’m 9FPO - think I’ll test tomorrow using FMU as my period is due in 5 days according to my app (have an average 26 day cycle). I just want to know either way now!

I didn't think I needed OPKs to let me know my peak levels because I feel like I know my body. Really, I probably don't. But at 32 and TTC #1, I just wanted the extra peace of mind to know that I'm doing things at the right time so I can take that out as a factor if I don't have success. Besides having that peace of mind, I've also liked that it's helping me see patterns of my body in relation to OPK readings. So, it's helping me understand my body a little better too.

I would like to jump in. 30 and TTC #1! Today I am 14DPO, which is the day I typically expect AF. I didn't remember to test this morning as my mind is all over the place. I will wait to test tomorrow morning......or should I just wait since tomorrow afternoon is my well-woman's exam??? I don't know. We have been TTC for 10 months now and I am truly getting tired, but not too tired to stop. I really want this baby!
