1DPO - Anyone want to join for the 2WW?

Hello! First month TTC. Currently 1DPO, no symptoms as of yet, but already feeling stressed at the thought of not knowing if we were successful for two more weeks! Worried we didn't BD enough, we did every other day during the fertile window including day before O. Anyone got any advice or just want to join in the conversation to get us through the wait?

13 dpo here and BFN too. Light spotting still there but no full blown AF yet. I don’t think I really feel much different than normal PMS right now, so I’m thinking AF is still on the way. Time will tell! How are our BFPs feeling today? @Daisyrobin123 and @IzzT

@JuniperAndTonic glad the covid swab is negative! Fingers crossed for a late BFP for you!

@dogmom0930 cramping from yesterday is much better. Boobs are pretty achey which is unusual for me. Still no signs of AF, but she's not due until tomorrow. Feeling very nervous that she's going to show despite the tests still being positive. Hopefully I'll feel a bit more relaxed tomorrow. Going to try and book an early reassurance scan at 7 weeks which will help as well I think!

@dogmom0930 I'm doing ok, thank you for asking! The anxiety of the 2ww has now been replaced with the anxiety of making it to 6 weeks, then to 8 and then to 12 🙈 nausea is still hanging around but I think I'm used to it now. I had a couple of evenings of being really sick which was awful but I've been ok the past couple of days. Still all feels very surreal!

Hopefully AF stays away and you just implanted late! But if not, we will be rooting for you next month! I hated that feeling of being in limbo just waiting to see if AF would arrive!!

Oh man @Daisyrobin123 I can only imagine. I can tell you to take it a day at a time, but that’s so much easier said than done. We’re here for you if you need a sounding board!

And thanks! It’s been such a weird month after the CP where nothing has felt like it has in the past haha! Whatever happens, I’ll just be glad to feel more in the know 😉

Awww thanks @Daisyrobin123! I’ve found it super helpful for me to follow you all here. When I’m feeling antsy or stressing about where I’m at, it’s all I can think about. But, it puts me more at ease after I’ve taken the focus off myself and onto encouraging good thoughts for others 😊

I’m 32 and on my 3rd cycle after coming off BCP. Second cycle using OPKs. First cycle after CP. I’ve been nervous these last few years about how quickly I might be able to conceive (though I haven’t been ready to start trying until this year). So I’m thankful after my CP to know that that shouldn’t be an issue. Now just waiting for my month of a clear BFP and sticky bean. I totally trust that it will happen when the timing is right. But of course, I’m antsy to know when that might be 😜

Hoping I get some ovulation pain this week, then I can start the TWW! Been great to read about all you who are further along in the cycle, so thanks I have an idea now of when to test and what to look out for.

Morning, well I'm due on today/tomorrow and my body has tricked me yet again with "symptoms" but another bfn. 13dpo today. Turns out some of my sicky feeling is likely cos I've picked up my daughters cough etc (not covid thank goodness). My partner will be pleased when he finds out I don't have much voice left lol.

Still not out til AF arrives but mentally prepared for her to show her ugly face now. Hope you are all doing well and have a fab Bank Holiday Monday 😀 xx

I am super delayed and will have to go back and read more in the thread. I am now 6 days late, AF still nowhere in sight. Haven't taken another pregnancy test out of fear that it will be another negative. But I did go in for blood work on Saturday, so I am waiting for word from my doctor.

I am not out until AF arrives so I will just stay positive.....but to be honest my body is getting on my nerves right now.

Sorry no BFPs for you either @K8Tee and @DeafChef1! I’m 14 dpo and BFN this morning as well. After a few days of nausea and light spotting, I don’t feel PG or PMSy. So, I’m just antsy for AF to arrive so I can get on with the next cycle.

Ah that's a bummer @dogmom0930, still not out til af arrives but i know what you mean, wish we could just fast worward past this part lol. I miscalculated and am actually 12dpo I think today not that it makes much difference. I've felt periody for a while now and had dizzy spells and nausea but also have a bit of a virus so could just be that.

I don't even know why I tested tbh. It's silly because we weren't even actively trying this month but now I'm in the TWW I'm like a crazy person.

In the same boat @dogmom0930 and @K8Tee - 14DPO, AF due today but literally no signs and tested BFN again this morning. Just want AF to come and go now so I can move on to the next cycle! Do you think it’s worth ordering some OPKs for this next cycle? It will only be my second cycle and supposed to be being relaxed about it but I’m the opposite of relaxed 😅

@DeafChef1 I can’t believe you haven’t tested again yet! I’ve tested 4 times this week can’t resist! I understand why though, it must be disheartening to keep seeing negative tests after a while! All the best and fingers crossed AF stays away!!

I got a small amount of spotting shortly after I typed that message so I am going to assume I am out for this cycle as this is how AF always starts for me. Best of luck to everyone else!

Still no BFP for me. I still think it's unlikely that we were successful this month as I had such a short follicular phase. I had a BBT dip at 7DPO though which is the only think making me hopeful, though I had a very stressful time 5-6DPO so that dip could have been due to that (my thermometer wouldn't even record my temp at 6DPO!).

We're edging closer to the 6 month mark where we can go get our fertility checked out, though have been not trying not avoiding for the last 8years. Do any of you know if it matters that I'm 35 (so can ask for tests at 6 months of TTC) but my DH is only 33?
Tbh it's not so much me that I'm worrying about as I see an endocrinologist at least once a year where I get hormones tested so going to ask for extra tests next time I see him in June anyway, but I don't really want to have to wait 12 months for DH so get his sperm checked.

@JuniperAndTonic I'm doing ok thank you for asking! The 2ww worry has been replaced with anxiety of hoping everything is going ok. I don't think reading negative stuff on these threads helps sometimes so I'll be glad to be back at work tomorrow for the distraction 🙈I'll be 5 weeks on wednesday so still very early.

Sorry to hear about you being in limbo. I was like that last cycle and AF ended up being 4 days late which was so cruel. Hopefully you can start getting on with the next cycle soon! I would recommend getting OPK's! It really helped us pinpoint ovulation (we completely missed it when I took a break from them last month to be more relaxed). X

@Lalala1985 I'm pretty sure it's based off the women's age and not the men's age so go at 6 months.

@dogmom0930 feeling okay so far today, thanks for asking. AF so far hasn't made an appearance. Like @Daisyrobin123 I'm not feeling nervous about the next few weeks. I think unfortunately there is always something to worry about and these forums are often full of threads where things have gone wrong which doesn't help the anxiety. I'm currently going with the mantra "I'm pregnant today, and for that I'm grateful and excited." I'm also trying to go with knowing that more often than not things go well so the chances are I will have a healthy and successful pregnancy. And if things go wrong I will hopefully deal with them if they happen but I'm crossing my fingers that it'll all be okay!

Still very light spotting today (have been on and off since Friday) and no AF at 14 dpo. Normally I’d expect AF to show up properly after this long of spotting. After the first month coming off BCP, AF started at 14 dpo. Last month with the chemical, 18 dpo. So I guess I’ll keep twiddling my thumbs 🤷‍♀️ Also, I figure the more I talk about it on here, the more I’ll encourage her to show her face 😉

10dpo and I tested again ( I know I'm a dumb ass) still BFN but I have so much bloating, I'm exhausted and cramping so much, like AF but all on one side 🙄

AF is here so back to cycle day 1 for me! Looking forward to a fresh cycle and hopefully I’ll be more chilled in the next 2WW but I doubt it 😂 I’ve ordered OPKs from amazon so will start doing those once my period has finished! Hope everyone else is doing okay today!
