This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

I think that's a completely natural reaction @Vil10. But you're only delaying, not never having a baby. And yes, you may need some help, you may not, who knows what your body will decide to do after your adventure!!

I need a stern talking to please.

Today I have convinced myself I'm pregnant. I've got very slight cramps and bloat, I thought I might feel sick earlier, I'm sure my nipples are more sensitive than normal and I'm overly tired.

But I'm only 5DPO so I know I'm being utterly ridiculous, it's far far far too early for there to be enough HCG to make me feel different. And I know I'm going to be crushed if (when?) AF arrives because my head is bloody stupid!

Tell me I'm imagining it all/this is normal for a luteal phase/I'm an idiot please!

Errrrrr @larrythelizard I've never had a luteal phase before so yeah totally normal AND you are imagining it.

Thanks @Minster2012 not that stern but I'll take it. Maybe it's just that my progesterone levels are finally 'normal' so I'm feeling progesteroney for the first time this round of TTC?! Either way I'm an idiot!

I don't feel like I'm in a stern enough mood to give you a talking to but I feel you 💕.

The last few cycles of mine I've had terrible nausea, cramps, twinging sensations and headaches in the TWW (same things I got with the BFPs I miscarried 🤦🏼‍♀️) and got my hopes up each time since but it's all been hormonal I think! (Maybe progesteroney 🙈) So there is no bloody deciphering between the two. Not helpful for you I know but you're not going mad either!

@Vil10 yeah good idea. And on how you reacted earlier, it's only natural. You ttc for so long, the desire doesn't just switch off because you've decided to stop due to practically reasons. Deep down you still want to, and your time will come round again soon 😚
@larrythelizard before realising my symptoms were likely endo, I always convinced myself it was early pregnancy. Turns out endo can do all of those things to you too.

@notyetamumbuttrying maybe it'll feel more real after more appointments? I don't know. I thought it would seem like a thing. Had the scan. The lady talked me through the injections and then I had to do the first one there. Which meant i had to take my jeans off as I did it in my leg. As you do . 🤣 But after everything else that seemed a non event. Then I just stolled out. The needle bit was not really hard. The next scans will be like today and then suddenly they'll be inseminating? I guess maybe that will be the real part? Maybe with lockdown and it not really disrupting life (appointments are all 9am or earlier) it just feels like a not a big deal? Maybe it's just me. I'm never easily impressed. 🤣
@Dollybird89 it really seems to vary. My first appointment my DH had to be there (phone appointment) or they wouldn't do it. They told me that though and it was on the letter too. Other places seem different. So I think it depends on the hospital?

@Vil10 maybe we need to do a period survey? What's normal! 🤣 I think i managed 4 hours before leaking out the tampon but it was a super plus one. Not a fan of those, as they feel too big! But I thought I'd try it as the others don't last long enough.

@Minster2012 I kept telling myself that last night, maybe future baby is waiting for us to have our adventure then it will make an appearance maybe😂

@larrythelizard I know I think I just think it'll never happen but I just can never ever picture being pregnant or imagine having a child, but you're right, I may or may not need help but it'll happen one day!

@notyetamumbuttrying definitely, it is nice to not be obsessing over tracking my cycle and opks etc and I'm gonna to have these feelings like you say after TTC for so long!

@paintfairy yess good idea😂😂 I don't use those big ones just the one up from normal, if that makes sense? I've had heavy periods on those first 2 days for as long as I can remember, I remember when I was a lot young maybe the first year I had got my period, my friend had to ring my mum when we were in town because I'd almost passed out it was that bad! But I've always been very regular, just quite heavy and sometimes painful! But then there is people who have heavy, painful, irregular periods and nothing is detected🤷🏽‍♀️ god this stuff is stressful😂

It's a frosty morning dog walk here before heading to Harrogate fir the joules sale to buy clothes I don't need & I've been sent with lists from other ppl. I KNOW what will happen, I shall end up buying loads for others and none for me, DH did say last night my list didn't have anything for me on it but I was like that just happens naturally!! @Vil10 if you get really heavy periods have they checked for fibroids? You can also get prescribed tranexamic acid that makes them less heavy and is a life saver. I didnt know I had massive fibroid (13cm x 11cm) and some smaller ones till my first exam with DS and she said how did you not know, do you not have really heavy and painful periods.......I did but I just assumed that's what everyone had as its not like you have anything to compare it with. 🤷‍♀️ But definitely ask your GP about the tranexamic acid you just take it for the first few days of your period and it really lightens it up. Sorry to hear about your emotional day yesterday, hope you're feeling a bit better today, think of your amazing adventures coming up that you won't get the chance to have that same kind of carefree experience with a child in tow, then you can have a baby afterwards with no regrets and loads of amazing memories.

@Dollybird89 is it the initial appointment for fertility investigations? If so DH didn't have to be at the first one of mine it just said its preferable both partners are there but essential the female partner is. DH was working so she just did the questions with me and DH had to book a SA through his GP which he was already on the waiting list for anyways. Check with your hospital if partners are a must or not.

@larrythelizard step away from the symptom spotting till at least 7dpo, that wee hopefully fertilised egg is still travelling down your tubes at 5dpo getting ready to find a snuggly spot to rest in. Progesterone is the pesky headfuck culprit just now, because women don't suffer enough so let's make the tww symptoms the exact same as pregnancy symptoms 🙄

Well DH walked into the hospital yesterday with his jizz pot just to pass SIL leaving the hospital with her scan photo - the universe has a cruel sense of humour 😂
I was OK when she sent the photo on the family chat, I braced myself for it had a little pang of sadness but no tears, then I read the caption under it 'Alive and kicking' and for some reason that's what set the tears off. Not that her baby was alive and kicking but that none of mine had made it. Big fat ugly tears then DS came over and gave me his Teddy and that just made me worse as I felt like I'd let him down as I know how much he wants a sibling, he constantly asks me if I'll go to the baby shop get a baby sister in my tummy for him, if only it were that easy! But onwards and upwards as they say had some amazing I need TLC sex last night so that made up for a crappy day. We're technically not supposed to be ttc just now till we get back on track financially after DHs cockup, but in the heat of the moment forgot about being careful so I guess I'm technically not out this month afterall as I may just have caught the tail end of fw 🙈

I've got an awful awful cough and my voice sounds like I smoke 100 a day (negative lateral flow for covid) but it's kept me up all night 😫 nightmare getting DD to nursery this morning so had a chocolate egg for breakfast 🙈 🥳

Oh @DKDK123 that sounds like such a tough day. It's not your fault though, that you can't get/stay pregnant - it's shit but it's one of those uncontrollable things in life. Completely not on you.

Thanks for the telling off re symptom spotting, I know it's too early really (and didn't even consider POAS which shows my rational brain is still in there somewhere!!)

@Minster2012 I'm so jealous of you going to the Joules sale! Make sure you find some bits for yourself! Yep I am well and truly having a heavy, painful, clotty bleed. Everytime I go to the toilet I feel like I'm about to flush my uterus away down there! But I'm keeping the mindset it's good, flushing all the left over follicles and cyst debris out of my system and a couple of days to go until my scan on Monday morning and then should be able to start stims👌
The Gousto meals are delish! I think my favourite so far was the creamy Cajun linguine and I hate pasta so that's saying something. We have burgers tonight.

@paintfairy that's amazing your IUI has started! It still doesn't feel real that we're doing IVF. Not sure when reality kicks in!

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry babe didn't see your post till now! The second and third days were always the worst for me. The general stays in your system for a day or so, so that stops you feeling much pain. Have they given you any codeine at all or stronger painkillers? For the shoulder pain a heat pad helps as well. Also you probably won't feel like it at all but even a little walk round the block helps shift the bloat and gas and you will start to feel better. Are you off work at the moment?
@larrythelizard deffo progesterone symptoms. I had the same every month but only realised the month I got my BFP I only felt different about 10 dpo when my boobs started to be sooooo sore which I had never had before. Our bodies are assholes!
