It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@bez91 DH wants to take me out for the day this weekend, we live near to the peak district so thinking a day out... If I can be bothered 🤣 just dont want to drive there and it be rammed. Not my idea of a good time. But the pub was really quiet last night so we popped in for a quick one (non alc for me) x

@pennysays I'm no expert but usually I get 4 days of flashing smiley and then a static, this cycle I got 7 and then a static. Cheapo OPKs showed fuck all until I got a static. Always did the Clear Blue with FMU and then the cheapo ones 1pm ish and 4pm ish (working from home so no excuse not to piss on the sticks at every chance). I drink quite a lot of water so often find it hard to get a particularly dark control line.

We tend to have sporadic sex until I get a flashy face then try to go for every other day/sometimes every 3rd day.

In term of excitement, this month I didn't do a very good job of it, but have gone for lingerie and jumping DH in unusual places...helps a bit but it does get a bit boring doesn't it?! We deffo don't talk about IMPORTANT OVULATION DAYS as it seems he doesn't respond well to pressure 🤔

@bez91 not rushing back to anything but starting to see a few more people and go a bit further afield. Desperately hoping the world opens up as is planned...!

@notyetamumbuttrying oh no! Sorry you're suffering :( not ideal, hope they sort you out soon and you can feel a bit better x

@2020mission no differences at all tbh, and symptom spotting was useless as I didn't have any until 6 weeks haha. The only difference I can retrospectively say is that I didn't have a dip as you mentioned, I had severe cramps at 10-11 dpo which I now think was implantation, and no spotting which I always get.

Thanks @Justanothercyster. When I had the chemicals my only symptom was no pre AF spotting too. I don't bother symptom spotting these days since they are all caused by progesterone which happens in the luteal phase whether pregnant or not 😅 was it strange to suddenly not be taking BBT every morning? haha

I'm a disaster sorry 🙈 17 pgs in and I'm only jumping on.
Been emotional on and off this few days (would have been due this sat) so I've stopped all tracking. Its obviously not helping and if anything is stressing me more so trying to take a more relaxed app. Was taking EPO until ovulation, was gona start low dose aspirin but I cant buy over the counter here which is crap. In fw atm and no opks done. Just dtd every 2 days see if that works. Getting day 21 bloods bone next wk. See if I'm actually ovulating. Ordered a fertility crystal bracelet there too. Might as well, I've tried everything else lol. Ordered my friend 1 too.

I’m so confused, I’ve had no peak days so far on easy at home test. But this time last month was when it showed peak. The app said I should have ovulated on Monday but it was a low day. I’ve no idea what’s going on now.

@2020mission you see my logical brain knows that symptom spotting is entirely pointless because of the progesterone but it's the irrational bit that invades my thoughts!!

Hello I'm back!!

@bez91 we have been looking for our "forever home" for about 18 months, we adore our house, we designed the inside from scratch but we want a big garden & land ideally & id love a new project, DH wants a man shed so we've always kept an eye to the ground as we can't move far. We won't put ours on the market til we find a new one but our village is v popular & actually our neighbour's mum has her eye on ours (we are actually seeing HER house on Saturday but they have t told us the price except it's likely to be maybe a bit too expensive for us which we also think it will be) so we are fortunate in that we don't really have to now (not like last year where sometimes they wouldn't let us see a place without ours on the market). Ours is ready to go on the market so can be quick if we find one. The one we've just seen hasn't even had pictures done yet.

@minthumbugs I tried temping and gave up last year after I found out I wasn't ovulating and had crap sleep 🤣😂but I think it takes a few cycles to see patterns

@Catherinettc I never wash my car & you could actually write NEVER in it currently Cos we put some mortar on a wall near it and it's got mortar dust all over it 🤣😂never screwed an estate agent tho, or want to! Promise if I'd an AIBU thread you'll be the first to know!

@Thinkingandblinking 8 weeks yesterday I'm so sorry!! But if no bleeding then fingers crossed all ok, how are you feeling? When did you stop the progesterone?

@pennysays in answer to your questions, in my one and only cycle of CB tests that led to a flashing (the one before yes I got no static so ovulation unlikely and I've been a confirmed non ovulator in the past hence why ovulation this time is sketchy at best)

• I've had 6 flashing smiles then on day 7 got static BUT no ewcm then 2 days later got ewcm so fathom-me-that.
• my cheapies were basically none existent and on static day I wasn't feeling great so couldn't do them as weeing too much so no help there
• Clearblue is most often right yes from googling to the Earth & back I think it generally is actually
• baby making sex talk is very unsexy EXCEPT DH does rather like it if I say something like "come impregnate me" rather than talk about swimmers or sperm or stuff like that. Maybe impregnate is more masterful! Most of the time I don't tell him but we've not been at it long enough but do have a lot of sex anyway (except Thursdays it seems!) any help?! No thought not 🤣😬

@2alreadywantanother do you want me to buy you some baby aspirin & send it to you?? Savers sell it £1 for 100

@Katiekattty do you do a few throughout the day? It's tough with the OPKs, I found them so hard with drinking lots of water too x

@Kirky658 - maybe this is the way forward. I think everyone has to be in a particular mood to incorporate fertilising an egg into sexy chat.

@paintfairy - yep you could be right. They’ve matched up yesterday and today, it was just strange to go from zero to flashing smiley over night.

@larrythelizard - thats really helpful. I need to get my piss sticks in the right order, while simultaneously not obsessing. Lingerie… love it! We’ve been discussing how to keep the excitement going on the impending bonkathon. He’s suggested I do a supermarket sweep in Anne Summers but thinking there might be other options out there?!

@Katiekatty - are you normally super regular? Apps only work if you’re really regular otherwise it’s impossible to predict. The sticks are more likely to be telling the truth. What about other symptoms?

@pennysays the flashing smiley is due to a rise oestrogen which precedes an LH surge - so it's basically giving you a bigger heads up than a bog standard IC. So it's not that it's more correct than an IC, it's just monitoring more than one hormone so your IC wouldn't be picking up on this at all.

@bez91 I'd say per that chart that you haven't ovulated yet. The main thing to look out for is 3 consecutive temps higher than the previous six and your temps since the peak reading have not really done that. You can have a slow rise but even then that would mean higher than the previous 6, if just by a smaller margin than normally expected (0.3Cish shift is usually what to look out for)

@pennysays I’m regular like clockwork. Clue/Flo were wrong about my ovulation dates and I started using easy@home. Clue/Flo adjusted the dates accordingly and says I should ovulate Friday and the Premom app has my ovulation day earlier than normal. App says I’m 2dpo but I haven’t had a LH surge yet and only just since yesterday EWCM.

@Minster2012 they did a pg test yesterday at the hospital and bfn of course. Even if it was too early, nothing would be there now anyway as tubes were flushed out with dye. Due on Sunday and will be calling acu nurses Friday to see when I can start treatment. That's what I was told to do as my follow up. Ooh so you love the house then! What do you need to do to bring Dh round?!

@Minster2012 well you'd think so, but being painful after a workout means bad recovery!! In this case it means I've been a lazy fat cow and not done anything until the gyms opened😂 so glad you love the house!! Exciting times ahead!!

@notyetamumbuttrying so did you know you had the endo already?? Glad your tubes are clear! It seems to have gone so quickly for you!! How exciting!! 🤞🏼 you will be preggers by June!

@notyetamumbuttrying I'll see if I can find you 😊 with mine unfortunately the surgeon only 'removed what he could see' as he was a general gynae. So I had relief for a couple of months then it came back with a vengeance and last surgery I had a 4cm nodule removed from my left uterosacral ligament, extensive endo in my pelvis and a cyst on my ovary! So hoping I'll have more relief this time especially as being pregnant is meant to stall the growth for a while. Also woohooo to ice cream!!! So now they have removed the endo, are you going to try to ttc naturally or go down the IVF route still!? Xx

@vil10 being in pain deffo means a workout has gone well 💪🤣 I'm in pain after my run with DH before work this morning, I've got knees like an old woman I swear

@Vil10 only suspected because of my symptoms (painful periods, painful sex at times, always hurt afterwards). Only a lap can diagnose it so they treat at the same time. Yeah it's lucky I was with the fertility unit as they have somehow sped me through the system!
@Kirky658 yeah have a look. It's literally just me and Marcia. I've been bombarding her the poor thing 😂 oh wow so yours sounds like deep infiltrating endo then? I think mines stage 3 cos of where it was. If so, that's higher than they thought. They thought it would be mild. Ooh were you asked about your thyroid btw? The gynae asked me if I'd had it checked and I said yes, then she disappeared off. My follow up was to call the acu unit when I come on so I'm thinking it's full steam ahead with ivf?! I reckon we'll get one natural FW left as I know they wanted to do long protocol (day 21 start rather than cd1). X

Had my hysteroscopy this morning, having read absolutely terrible things online it was actually ok!! Slightly crampy now but nothing major and no leaky water yet 😂
Inside my uterus looked lovely, nothing of any note apparently!! So both reassuring but also doesn't give me a reason as to why these babies don't want to stick!

I had a phone call from the dispensary at my GP this morning saying that they had the letter from the hospital and when I get pregnant I just need to call them and they'll sort out the progesterone prescription for me. How lovely is that!
The consultant today said you realise there is no evidence whatsoever for it and I said yes but it makes me feel like I'm doing something; he then said given there is very little risk involved then he understood. Bless him.

@notyetamumbuttrying ah ok yes I guess you can't do anything bout that after the dye anyway but it needed doing so good job done. DH loved the garden, land & tranquility he didn't like the 1950s house, he hates "red brick houses" it wasn't a pretty house, like we usually see farmhouses or Georgian houses or houses with character, it had none, but it was a blank canvas with room in our budget for an extension & lovely new kitchen to make it our own, it's not his IDEAL village but it's one I live & its next door to our own so it's our stomping ground with his local 5 mins away. We aren't gonna get any better & it actually beats the other one. I think he's actually a bit daunted & a bit "meh" about the lack of "pretty house".
