This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@2020mission see a pre-visit run through would've been smart 😂 I was not smart. It was reasonably easy to find with a little help from Google 😂

@larrythelizard I couldn't find a useful map! It was a bit dire tbh but we got there in the end (and within the hour time limit thankfully 🙈 I'm super jealous of how quick your blood test results are coming back and onto a patient portal too!! I have to ring up if I want to know anything

@Minster2012 yes!! That's exactly it, the stress of not knowing where to go or where to park kills me. Turned out that wasn't an issue as there was literally no parking. Anywhere. At all. I ended up driving in loops around the hospital until DH was done and he dived in the car while I was waiting at traffic lights. Stressful but at least it's done now 😄 ooh sounds like an exciting month ttc-wise!

@MartyMcshy stress is the worst and it's so hard to combat

@paintfairy our hospital didn't have an online map, irritatingly enough, but I pretty much ended up doing what you did. There was no parking to be had anywhere, people were parked in keep clear boxes, on double red lines, in slip roads, it was actually mad trying to get round it all and there were roadworks all around as well. I ditched DH at a bus stop (literally the only place to stop) and then drove the loop round the hospital until he was done. He ended up leaping into the car when I was stopped at roadworks traffic lights. Oof your AF sounds brutal, hope the cramps have eased off now

@bez91 yep, same! Reflexology sounds interesting, you'll have to let us know what it's like if you try it.

@Dollybird89 if they say it's your weight at your appointment, then that's just a massive cop-out on their part and they should be doing other tests. It's just not good enough to say someone's weight is a reason for it when plenty of larger women fall pregnant with ease. The dirty dancing workout sounds fun though! I really need to get back into exercise, it's 100% fallen by the wayside.

I've tried the meal kits from Hello Fresh before but I never got on with them. I quite like the ones from Simply Cook, they just send the spices and stock with recipes. They work better for me because I can sub things in an out as needed. If anyone is interested, I've got a referral link where you can get a free box to try.

Hi everyone. First off, thanks to you all for your support yesterday when I was in a pit of despair. This can be such a lonely business.

I’ve mostly got my sh*t together now: Premom is giving me sensible opk readings which are inline with what I am expecting. I have ordered some better opk tests and had a little look at my bbt charts to see if I can expect a spike. I also listened to my 90’s teenage self and took a chill pill. DP - or the sperminator as he shall henceforth be known - is helpful in reminding me how I always seem to have a melt down around this time because I can’t predict anything and then it normally comes one way or another. Also realised that I have to be nicer to sperminator if I want the aforementioned sperm.

Found it helpful @MartyMcShy about your experiences with OPKs and did a bit more tuning into my body. A bit hard to listen to your body when your hormone swings are making you want to lob baked goods at random passers by just for enjoying the sunshine.

“Designated pee pot” @Katiekattty that made me laugh! I’ve been feeling pretty smug about using scoops / measuring cups with handles so I don’t have to piss on my hands. But there is basically a pot of piss with a stick in it in every room in my house. I simply don’t care anymore.

In other news, despite the dearth of Ass Juice in my life, my CM has arrived. But it is not - and seldom is - stretchy. Any wise words about that @Minster2012 or others?

@pennysays I don’t have anything has grand as full size pot. I have one of those little sauce pots that you get from the chicken shops 😂.

@pennysays not gonna lie "sperminator" made me laugh a lot harder than it should've done 😂 glad you're feeling better today 😄 my body is a disaster zone and I once had stretchy cm for like a fortnight, so my (unhelpful) wise words are: bodies be crazy. I guess it's working out what's natural for you around ov time.

@pennysays yep I think the answer is our bodies are fuckboys. Some of the ladies on here swear by pineapple juice/pomegranate juice/seeds to help with CM? Mine always feels, erm, 'more' when wet and then as it gets closer to ovulation (as per clear blue and cheapo OPKs) is gets drier and stickier. I find the descriptions quite hard!! My sperminator also likes to tell me to relax 🤔

As for the hospital- yeah it's a nightmare. For the SAs and my foof scan we did it that way. But for the HSG my DH had to come with me and so that was mega stressful, as we had to park. Same will happen for insemination I think (unless we can manage for him to run in with that first and do a changeover). The hospital website advises buses but you can hardly do that with sperm in tow? Honestly!
@pennysays it gets watery and more of it leading up to ovulation. Then it gets stretchy but that doesn't last long! So maybe it's on its way?

I have ronsqh as someone living in a fully locked down country I am envious of all you Brits getting out and about! Enjoy the freedom

Husband had his SA done yesterday. They changed the date which I'm so grateful for as original appointment was tomorrow so we would have missed ovulation if they hadn't had a cancellation. That would have been a month on Clomid for nothing.They said they'd do it straight away and GP should call in next few days.

So I had a weird evening and morning. Yesterday evening I fainted sitting down on the couch (Thank God I wasn't standing or walking). I was watching something disgusting on television and it made me faint?! So weird. Husband nearly fainted himself with the panic of it. When I woke up I didn't know who I was, who he was or where the hell I was. Felt nauseous for a few hours and generally unwell but much better now. Husband said I was hyperventilating in my sleep in the same way as when I fainted and he was concerned.

Anyway this month I'm using the clear blue ovulation kit where you stick the thingy in the bigger thingy. 3 strips it took me to use it properly today! I was fine yesterday but my brain isn't working today clearly.

I went from an empty circle yesterday to static smiley today. Am I OK to DTD tonight or should I get on it ASAP? We're both working from home so can go any time despite feeling so weird since I fainted and defo not in the mood but it's gotta be done.

"I have ronsqh" should read "I have to say". Jesus. Maybe I had a stroke

@Somatronic that sounds awful!! Is it a clomid side effect, do you think? Not surprised your husband was concerned - worth maybe calling the doctor about it?

In the time since my last message I've actually painted an entire ceiling, including rollering the thing, cutting in the edges & painting round the spotlights & done a load of washing, hung up n all with DS not watching tv OR killing a dog but instead making duplo stuff by himself 🤪AMAZING. Though one dog has retreated to the crate giving me a look of "you KNOW I never agreed to this annoying human" and the other one is trotting around going "I SWEAR we are WELL PAST walk time" but most productive 2 hours EVER so if I achieve NOTHING for the rest of the week I'm still taking a win 🙌🏻😝

@InkyPaper I have no idea if it's the Clomid. I made a phone appointment with the doctor because my mother ordered me to. She's worried about my heart because I have Graves disease which causes palpitations and she always worries.

I mentioned it to my boss and she said I must be pregnant. I wish!
