Hi ladies, our March 2021 TTC Bus seems to be full up, would be a shame not to continue. So looking forward to sharing all our BFP's 🤗

@dunkedbiscuit thanks that would be nice . When do you normally start testing ? I'm going to try and hold out until at least 10DPO I know you shouldn't test early. It actually for me it lightens the blow when AF comes . How long have you been trying ? X

@IndigoJam Ok thank you! I'm always curious about people's symptoms leading to BFP's, it's like a hobby of mine 👀😂
I'm clueless about everything this month, didn't track anything etc.. I quite liking it as I haven't started to obsess over anything until today, which is a record for me! Xx

@Gummybear17 I try to wait as long as possible until the day before / day of AF being due. But I totally understand getting the answers sooner so you can mentally prep yourself for it. I expect I will cave sooner!
This is cycle 3 of ttc #2 for us, how about you?

@pennysays my cycle is an average of 41 days but it has been as long as 61, waiting weeks for ovulation is a nightmare x

@Confused678866 the non tracking non stressing approach sounds like a good one! I haven’t used OPKs this month and feel much calmer, just feel like what will be will be really. Hopefully being more zen will give us both BFPs this month! When do you think you will test?

@Gummybear17 oh I hear you, I was very similar, first month trying, was so surprised how quickly I started to symptom spot. Spent ages on mn before joining, reading old threads to try find ones that matched mine 🤣 period decided to go over by 3 days just to keep me guessing. Trying to be more chilled this month - time will tell!

@dunkedbiscuit cycle 3 TTC number 3 . First one was a surprise second conceived cycle 1 no problem. Not used to all this LH tracking etc ... but I’m 5 years older now ! X

@dunkedbiscuit Oh I'm glad to hear from someone who has decided to take this approach too! If I'm not successful this month, I will think about using OPK's again but I just felt like they were consuming me and because I knew exactly where I was at during my cycle, I was just obsessing everyday with the number of DPO I was and then I was crushed when AF came! I'm not sure really, I use 3 different apps which are all saying totally different things so I've stopped looking at these pretty much too. My last 2 cycles have been 22 days (short 🙄) so if I went by that, AF would be due on Wednesday I think. The cycle before that was 29 days though and the one before that was 24.... so I really don't know 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm back working in my office now and with that and life with a toddler, days are very busy which I'm thankful for during these TWW! I think I will see how I go this week and then maybe test the weekend (if no AF by then) as I just don't know when AF is due properly.
When will you test? Have you had any sort of symptoms? Xx

@pennysays I ovulated last week which was day 19 of my cycle, that's freakishly early for me so I'm currently 5DPO but I'm not getting my hopes up because this 10 days earlier than when I usually ovulate. So my next ovulation isn't due until 12th May, I usually start daily LH tests about 1.5 weeks after my period and when they start showing results I'll do them twice a day until they peak, I also temp chart so track ovulation too.
Whats your plan?

Tested again this morning 11dpo bfn, but could possibly be 9dpo at a push, I thought at first I could see a line on my FRER but I think it's just my line eyes hoping for a line to be there as there isn't one! Just wish if I'm not pregnant af will show up so I can start again, af due anytime from now until the end of the week x

@amyannx Sorry that you got a BFN but as you say, you could actually be 9DPO today which is very early anyway so keeping my fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏻 xx

@Confused678866 thank you, I'm prepared for af to come because of the bfn so I won't be disappointed, I had two days of positive opk then few days later had another positive so maybe I didn't actually ovulate the first time when I go the positives and that's why I could potentially be 9dpo if I go by the second time of positive opk x

6DPO and wondering when do people usually start testing? Got some early tests which I can start using from Friday and some cheaper ones I can use if AF is late but wondering if people find testing before AF is due too stressful or disappointing?

@Sam8582 @Gummybear17 It’s so nice to hear from ladies around my age, I’m definitely last in my friendship group to have a baby, I have never felt ready until now really, I just think of all the celebs that have babies over 40, so fingers crossed for us all!

It would be ok as I was dealing with it all ok, but have recently had the news of three basically extended families members having babies, July, Aug and Sept. I would have been due Oct, it’s really hard to get that out my head!😔

When is the best time of the day to use ovulation strips.
I've just received mine and i think ovulation day is Saturday/Sunday so I'm excited to start using them to see if my estimate for ovulation is correct 😍

@amyannx Oh yes it does sound like you could have maybe ovulated a little later. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xx

@AllyCat31 Hey. I think everyone is totally different when it comes to testing. Some people find that it softens the blow for them when they start testing early if it turns out not to be their month.. some people find it stressful. I tested early last month and found it quite stressful when I got my BFN and I was instantly in a really bad mood and then AF arrived. I'm waiting it out this month (also because my cycles can differ by a few days so I'm trying to wait as long as possible). I suppose I'll find out this cycle which way I prefer doing it. The last 2 months I've had a 22 day cycle which means AF is due tomorrow and I was going to test tomorrow morning if AF doesn't show... but then I realised that I have had slightly longer cycles just before the short ones so I think I'm going to try and wait out the rest of this week (if AF doesn't show).
Will this be your first baby that you're TTC? Xx

@Confused678866 yeah I hope so, although I have prepared myself that af is going to show up anytime now, just don't know why frer would still be negative even if I did ovulate late thought it would be a faint line at least x

@amyannx hey I got a negative result at 9dpo. Might just be too early.

@amyannx I know what you mean.. but I've read so many people not going anything even on FRER's until afterwards.
It's god that you're mentally prepared for AF anyway but don't count yourself out just yet! Xx

@IndigoJam hey! Technically I'm 11dpo as that was my peak but then 2 days later I got another positive opk so that's why I'm thinking I ovulated the second time around, when did you get a positive test and what brand test did you use? Congratulations xx
