Hi @TigerDaisy I am also brand new to all of this and have been using OPKs the last few months since coming off the pill to work out what’s going on. Currently 2 DPO and every little thing I think is something haha. Are you going to test or just wait for AF? I have tests waiting but worried I’ll get too obsessed with it all if I don’t wait and get disappointed

Hey everyone, just jumping back on from the March bus! I haven’t been tracking anything this month and just going off previous data so I’m assuming I’m in the TWW! I know each cycle can differ but I’m like clockwork so I promised myself I would be more relaxed and try not to stress, so far so good but the wait drives me crazy🤣 This is cycle #5 TTC baby #1💗 AF due 15th April so the wait begins!!

Hi all

Need some advice

So last month, I ovulated on CD17 and my period came on CD35
This month, I ovulated on CD13 and im currently 9DPO
Havent a clue when my period will come because since being off the coil since Jan it comes whenever it wants
FF has pinpointed by period to start on 11th April giving me a 30 day cycle...that would be fab

Clearblue online is saying the earliest I can test is Monday 5th which is 6 days before my period but I will be 12 dpo by then
Do I go off days past ovulation or do I go with when the apps are saying my period is due??

Hi @AllyCat31 - I’d love to say I’ll have the patience to wait, but I can see me testing from 10dpo...I’ve certainly bought enough internet cheapies that I won’t run out anytime soon! it’s quite hilarious really, but I’ve already convinced myself this is my most clear cycle so far (best quick temp rise, strongest opk readings, most obvious ovulation cramps), so I just know I’m going to be an obsessive symptom spotter - might as well be a poas (pee-on-a-stick) addict too! First one I’ll be looking for will be that implantation temp dip I’ve heard everyone talking about... fingers crossed for us all!

Hello ladies . Can I join ? I’m TTC cycle 3 now and really ready for a BFP . Need a group to keep me positive !!

Heya, hoping to jump on the bus. Been lurking for the last couple of months, TTC #1, 2nd cycle and now somewhere 1-3 DPO (had my OPK peak Tuesday and Wednesday, but no BBT temp rise yet - they are quite inaccurate at the mo anyway as DH is on call and I get woken up in the night).

Got my age (35), a history of hormonal issues (pituary adenoma which caused hyperprolactinemia and hyperthyroidism along with everything else being out of whack), mild anemia and being obese going against me, but fingers crossed - my cycles are normal and all my hormones in normal range now so should be OK.

@TigerDaisy the pack of OPKs I got off Amazon has a little pan you pee in so I’m a dip addict lol. I think I’m going to try to hold off testing till I’m 14DPO and AF should be here but we will see in 12D if I’ve made it that far. Are you using an app to log temperature? I’ve not been doing that at all but might do it cycle 2.

@AllyCat31 I use Femometer and Fertility Friend both - I find the charts are clearer in FF, but my thermometer is the Femometer Vinca, which has an alarm that wakes me to take my temp, and then automatically syncs with the app to upload my temps meaning I can just take my temp and go back to sleep without even really opening my eyes, let alone having to faff writing anything down (which for someone like me who really isn’t a morning person was a big tick in its favour!) I’ve found it useful temping, as it made me understand my cycle much better.

It’s so nice to chat to people at the same point of their cycle as me - we can all help keep each other sane in the next few weeks of symptom spotting hi @Gummybear17, @Lalala1985

Thanks @AllyCat31 I felt so lonely the past 2 cycles staring at those BFNs with nobody to really share it with . Other half is like ‘ oh well it’s not the end of the world ‘ I guess men just don’t see it in the same way as we do ...

Hi all, can I jump on too? Ttc #1, 2nd cycle. Decided to jump head first into using opks which have showed same ovulation as glow app, so currently 1dpo. Is anyone near to testing? My AF decided to come 3/4 days late last cycle and I was surprised at how quickly I became a POAS addict hoping to try stay a little more restrained this time but will see how that goes haha

@Gummybear17 so sorry to hear that. Yeah they don’t get how much time or energy goes in to this whole thing. We basically have to give up our bodies for years from TTC till you’ve finished BF and it’s a lot of stress and pressure. I was in Tesco last night on my own and walked through the baby aisle of nappies and NB toys and I was almost crying. It’s only cycle 1 but it just hit me how much I want this now we’re actually trying

So I’ve had a positive clear blue smiley face now for 36 hrs but still no positive on the standard ones . I’m worried I’m not actually going to ovulate this month :-( OH is now saying he feels unwell , so unlikely to get him ‘engaging’ today . Why is this so difficult ?

Jumping in. 2nd cycle. I have long and irregular cycles (somewhere between 40 and 70 days) and last months was absurd. I has positive opks at two different times in my cycle and all the pregnancy symptoms. I have a three year old and fell pregnant quickly first time round, so hoping for the same again...Not due to ovulate for 4 weeks though! It's going to be a loooooong wait.

Hi @Sam8582 - I’m at 2dpo today I think (The apps won’t confirm Ov without 3 days of raised temps, but all the signs say...), so we’ll be testing around the same time

@Gummybear17 I did some reading on LH levels as I get High levels every cycle, but only rarely see a Peak so was concerned - apparently some women have naturally lower peaks than others, so what reads as high on a test for us could actually be a peak but the standardised test levels can’t tell - having temps to back up the opks is really reassuring, worth looking into

@dunkedbiscuit ah well, we’ll all go loopy together then when are you testing?

Hey ladies, I’d like to join in please . I am ttc no, 5. On cycle one just had my merina taken out last month so not sure will my cycle go straight back to normal, if it is I should be due my period tomorrow. Baby dust to you all 😊

@amyannx from what I’ve read a lot of initial pregnancy symptoms mimic AF symptoms...it’s what makes the TWW such a nightmare! let us know how testing goes!

@AllyCat31 know exactly what you mean about walking through those aisles in the shops...I can’t wait to start putting those things in the trolley!

@Sam8582 when are you planning to start testing? I’m going to try to hold out until 10dpo...
