Hi ladies, our March 2021 TTC Bus seems to be full up, would be a shame not to continue. So looking forward to sharing all our BFP's 🤗
I'm sorry if I forgot some people, totally unintentional. Quite a lot on the other thread.

Just wanted to post this in case anyone has had similar or looking to find posts similar, I’m so confused: AF 1st - 6th April got a peak on clear blue fertility monitor & clear blue digital stick on 11th April which I felt was early for me, I felt I would ovulate around 14th, 15th, tested the following days and got low result. Tested yesterday 16th and got a peak result again!!! What is going on, I had an early MC in March, I wonder if hormones are not settled yet.
I think I’m writing this month off, it’s all so confusing! The only hope I have is I DTD on the 12th so there’s a tiny chance it hung on!!
Congrats also to the BFPs that have come yesterday & Today xx

Henslovetoscratch · 17/04/2021 20:57

Hi folks! Newbie to this board ttc#2 4 cycles now.

Oh not sure about the clear blue results @Willow1982 I only test until I get the peak then stop. Hope someone else can offer more help.

Does anyone here usually spot before their period? I do plus with pretty sore cramps and bloating for few days before and keep worrying Its maybe a bad sign?

Lovely to see BFPS! Congrats everyone!!

justwant2beamum · 17/04/2021 21:53

Congrats @Gummybear17 - af like cramps are normal, it's implanting and hurrying deeper snd your uterus will start to stretch.

@Willow1982 that's strange, I've heard that you can get an LH surge and not manage to ovulate so then your body will try again. Could be that and your hormones out of whack with mc? This is my first cycle post mc, I got a short peak so have carried on testing all month just to see (although I think I've missed a day or two now). Hopefully you'll be covered for both 🤞🏻✨

Gummybear17 · 18/04/2021 07:08

@dunkedbiscuit I've done another test today . I don't have anymore FRER so I've done the FRRR today and I think the line looks good but the easy@home strips haven't had any progression .

ChickPR · 18/04/2021 08:37

10dpo and very much BFN on a FRER for me so I reckon I'm out

Gummybear17 · 18/04/2021 08:52

@ChickPR mine was negative on FRER at 10DPO . Positive @ 12dpo . Don't give up . I think if this doesn't stick and I have to TTC again I'm not testing until 12DPO as I made myself so sad looking at white sticks!

Sgemss · 18/04/2021 08:54

Congratulations gummy bear looks like a very good second line!! Xx

I think I’m out this month AF was due tomorrow but I’ve been bleeding since Wednesday not heavy and not light but it’s not slowing down either Confused

Good luck to all the ladies here Smile

JoanneAsh · 18/04/2021 08:59

Can I join and get your input?

Back story - I had ectopic last year which resulted in my tube being removed.

Fast forward due my period Monday or Tuesday. I did a test Thursday which was a cheap internet one so not first response and it was negative. I’ve only had sore boobs last few days but at bedtime only. That’s been my only symptom this month should I expect my period on Monday/Tuesday and stop
Hoping I might still be pregnant??

I did ovulate at day 13/14 from what my ovulation sticks say but I think I might have another failed month. It’s really getting me down as I now think with one missing tube, age (older) I am never going to get pregnant again

Any advice ladies??

Gummybear17 · 18/04/2021 09:09

@JoanneAsh sorry to hear about your ectopic and subsequent tube loss that must have been a really tough experience.
I can not comment on pregnancy after ectopic as I have been very fortunate abs never had that experience. You do however seem to be close in cycle to me . I was due today or tomorrow ( cycles have been varied since coil removal ) but I tested way too early from 8dpo using internet cheapies and a FRER @10dpo which was negative and really upset me as I thought I was out . I waited until 12dpo ( when all my apps had advised I take the test ) and FRER was a faint line . Internet cheapy was barely visible and it still is which has worried me a bit as I'm 38 so have been half expecting something to go wrong . I did a FRRR today which I think does show progress so
Trying not to worry too much . My only symptoms have been slightly tender breast ( like when AF is coming ) and peeing so much more ! I guess what I am trying to say and rambling is . Don't count yourself out yet and as hard as it is waiting for at least 12DPO really is the best thing if you can ! Wishing you loads of luck and baby dust xx

TigerDaisy · 18/04/2021 09:47

Can I get people’s opinions on something? I’ve just had my covid vaccine letter through, and my appointment is the 29th...I’ll be roughly 4dpo by then from my usual cycle pattern, and I’m not sure whether it might be worth taking this cycle off TTC so I’m not extra stressed as the vaccine will probably play havoc with my temps and a lot of people I know had side effects and were ill for a day or two after as well...has anyone else had to think about this yet and decided what they’re doing? I’m actually relieved this first cycle was a bfn now though, as I’ll be glad to have had the first jab before conceiving as I was really worrying about whether to have it after conceiving if that became an issue...

TD x

dunkedbiscuit · 18/04/2021 09:56

@TigerDaisy I've had both my jabs now and was lucky with no significant side effect (I had Pfizer). If I had got pregnant prior to either appointment I would of spoken to the GP further, but as I wasn't I went ahead with both jabs. My personal risk factors of catching COVID are high though, as I work in a frontline role. So for me on balance it felt like the right decision.
There's been some new advice in the last few days around this, and sounds like pregnant women are now being encouraged to get vaccinated but either Pfizer or Moderna (is that what the other one is called?) so worth telling them you are TTC when it's getting booked x

dunkedbiscuit · 18/04/2021 10:00

@JoanneAsh sorry you have been through this lovely, my understanding around how this exactly works is patchy - but both ovaries carry on producing eggs, and the remaining tube can somehow sweep round to get the egg from that ovary?! I know this sounds v random but my friend got pregnant following an ectopic and tube removal, and they could tell her the egg came from the ovary with the missing tube and told her this is how it happened . Our bodies are amazing!

Gummybear17 · 18/04/2021 10:08

@TigerDaisy I have had both (Pfizer) jabs and I had the 2nd one when I was around cycle day 7 . I was really torn as to what to do but I didn't want to delay trying for a month as I didn't want to miss an opportunity to conceive and I also did some research and I felt the main risk was if I got a temperature following it that may not be good for a developing Fetus. As I wasn't due to ovulate for another week I went for it and luckily I didn't have any reaction at all . I may have missed the second jab if I would have already conceived and it was early days and maybe waited a few weeks before having it . I am also in a high risk job so I felt it was the best thing to do .

FingersCrossedConstantly · 18/04/2021 10:51

Hi all, I am new to the thread. First of all CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE BFPs! ❤️❤️

We have been TTC after our miscarriage in December 2019. I have irregular cycles, and have recently been put on Metformin.

I ovulated on 8/9th of the month (Femometer and Fertility Friend don't agree!) So I am currently either 9 or 10 dpo.

I did a cheapy test from Wilko's using FMU today and got a BFN. I can't help feeling I'm out 😔 even though my temps look way better than they have previously! 🤞

Here's my chart: My Ovulation Chart

amyannx · 18/04/2021 12:12

Hey! Can anyone help me please, I usually ovulate around day 16-18 well I have done since January when I've used opk since coming off the pill, I got this test today and it's not positive but no far out, is it possible for me to ovulate this early? I'm only on day 11? Does alcohol affect ovulation tests? wasn't prepared at all so not dtd as much and had lots to drink last night too for my partners birthday :(

April 2021 TTC Bus:-)
Gummybear17 · 18/04/2021 12:28

@amyannx I don't think this is positive . I had values like that up until cycle day 11 ( I ovulate day 13-14 normally ) and they crept up to around 1 then it reached 2.31 at its peak on day 13 this was bright red ans darker than control line and then started to decline again . I would say keep testing as per Premom app as it tell when to test twice daily . I was testing 6 hrly the day prior to my peak. They were spot on as I felt ovulation this month and it was around 18 hrs after my peak . And no I don't think alcohol effects them other than maybe if you are drinking lots of fluid you will dilute urine . But I'm no expert ! And everyone is different and have different peaks but I would say if your not expecting to ovulate yet you probably haven't you will know your body better than an app.

amyannx · 18/04/2021 12:30

@Gummybear17 yeah I know it's not positive but I usually get readings like this a few days before my peak, hoping it's not yet as haven't dtd a lot as wasn't expecting it x

FingersCrossedConstantly · 18/04/2021 15:06

Can I join I can test on the 22nd :)

justwant2beamum · 18/04/2021 15:17

@amyannx ovulation is after the peak so just start DTD now :)

amyannx · 18/04/2021 15:35

@justwant2beamum so do you think it's likely that my test will turn positive? I'm so confused never had test line dark that early I usually get a reading of in 0.60 a day or 2 before my peak but usually this is on day 16 and I'm only on day 11 now x

ChickPR · 18/04/2021 15:40

@FingersCrossedConstantly me too! That'll be 14dpo for me. Recklessly wasted a FRER today 😒

FergieTheFirst · 18/04/2021 18:46

Hey ladies, just checking in, had broken my phone so only just got a replacement. I don't know when I ovulated. Fertility friend has af due on 26th April so realistically I'm going to start testing this week. Although tomorrow I have a gynae appointment for something else and I'm wondering if they'd be able to see a pregnancy or if it's still too early? I've had lots of left hand side pinching and nauseous. How's everyone doing?

Natalie3387 · 18/04/2021 19:02

Hi ladies!

Congratulations to all that have got Bfp recently! How exciting 😁

@willow1982 I read your comment about an early peak result. I have been exactly the same since my miscarriage in December. I usually get a peak smiley on CD6/7 but no other obvious signs of ovulation. This month I carried on testing and got another peak smiley on cd16 which would make sense as AF would be due exactly 14 days later. Im 7dpo today.

@henslovetoscratch I also spot before my period and for the last few cycles (following my miscarriage in December) I have been spotting for up to a week before AF each cycle. I spoke to my doctor about it and he said its probably my cycle trying to regulate again or it could possibly be a hormonal imbalance. Perhaps keep your eye on the next few cycles and book in for some blood tests if you're still concerned.

justwant2beamum · 18/04/2021 20:06

@amyannx yes keep testing 2x a day Just now if you can try catch your peak. Ov can change each month I believe it's your lutesl phase that stays the same xxxx

justwant2beamum · 18/04/2021 20:07

@amyannx jan I ov'd cd15 this cycle it was cd13 x
