@Willow1982, I had my first at 31 and my second at 42. I got pregnant quicker with my second child and no issues! I’m now trying for a third at nearly 43. Good luck! xx

I just use my iPhone health app and my Garmin. No paid for ones.
I think I’m 5dpo but my app says af due 20th- ages away. I don’t know if I should work with that or if I had a weirdly long cycle last time with my period being late and it’s thrown out my predictions... I will try not to test till next weekend.

@dunkedbiscuit how are you feeling ? I'm exhausted but I'm thinking that's working and having the kids at home for half term. It's a longtime until yesterday day and I'm going crazy already !!

Reading all of your posts over the past few months has been such a comfort in what would have been even more lonely. Thank you! And thanks @Lollipop25 for starting the thread this month. It is so strange to be ttc but you can’t tell your nearest and dearest about the highs and lows of it all. I was losing hope after just 3 months. dh is 35 and I am 33, but he works away so tracking has been so important. My clear blue advanced fertility monitor only picked up my LH surge in the first month I used it, but after that internet cheapies worked better as long as I tested late morning, but EWCM was the best way to tell (and tracking temps to check). My cycles are short at just 24 days and have got much shorter in the last 18 months. I’ve been taking multivitamins for months and keeping fit and healthy. I have been worrying for a long time about how my autoimmune condition might affect pregnancy.

This month we tried preseed lube for the first time after reading raving good reviews. We didn’t dtd very much because of DH working away. On 1st April (April fools day!) af was due and I did a pregnancy test... BFN. I cried and I was exhausted. Dh said I looked awful and I was acting mad, asked if I was sure I wasn’t pregnant That night, I did another pregnancy test and I saw the faintest line. I didn’t believe it, knew it must be an evap line but suddenly got my hopes way up. In the morning I did another, and I squinted at what I thought must be a trick my eyes were playing on me. Did a clear blue digital and got my first ever BFP!!! I was over the moon and then suddenly so scared about what could go wrong. We want this little bean so much but we’ve just had a lot of bad luck over the last few years with various things.

Fingers crossed this little one sticks and grows up healthy. I am 5 weeks tomorrow. I will keep following all of you on your journey and hope this gives you a bit of hope too. Lots of sticky baby dust to all of you 🤞💐✨

PS think about giving preseed a go if you haven’t already. I never would have believed the reviews but now I’m a convert!

@TigerDaisy don’t test yet! Just wait. It’s so hard but you won’t learn anything testing soon. Just come and keep telling us about all you symptoms - real or not! And then test after two weeks.

Hi everyone, currently 3 ish DPO. TTC properly since December, off the pill since the previous June. I’m 37.
We’re in a bit of a weird situation as DP rarely ejaculates with PIV, and with TTC now can’t ejaculate if I’m in the house. So I use clear blue OPK, tell him the days, leave the house, and come back when he’s done the deed. Then I self inseminate.
The whole thing is grim. DP couldn’t manage it at all in January, February was once on the wrong day and March we nailed the right few days but it was a chemical. This month we’ve managed 2 days and 1 day before ovulation. I’ve had my usual ovulation bleeding.

@Lollipop25 thanks, it’s not the easiest and has trashed our sex life but hopefully it’s temporary.

I'm officially one week in to the TWW, the longest 7 days of my life! My period is due on Tuesday and the Clear Blue early detection test keeps catching my eye every time I go to the bathroom. Is Saturday too early to test or should I wait a few days? I've been trying to symptom spot and I don't think I've had any, well thats a lie I feel like I've had them all but I'm pretty sure it's just physiological, haa! Although I'm sure my right boob has gotten bigger, no idea what's going on with the left 🤣

@Janerobs so hard to wait🙈 try try try, think of the upset if it's a BFN because it's so early, once a cycle is enough to go through that, I'd only be second guessing it for days after anyway 🤦‍♀️but 🤞🤞🤞all fingers crossed for you😁

@Gummybear17 sorry for the slow reply, mega busy day at work. I'm doing ok, I've come out with some spots on my face but not sure if that's just stress / life?! I know what you mean about the tiredness, I'm hoping it's a sign of good things for you. When do you think you will test? AF is due on 17th for me so I'm going to try to wait until that morning. Feels sooo long to wait though!

@Janerobs try to wait if you can. It’s so so hard, but the month that I tested loads I didn’t actually get a BFP until after my period was due. It just caused distress in the meantime and didn’t change the outcome. Good luck ✨

@dunkedbiscuit AF due on 17th here too! We really are in sync ! I think I will have caved by then if I'm honest. I will be lucky to last until then . I don't know I may test around 10DPO just to soften the blow of AF . It came 3 days early TTC cycle 1 just to rub it in then 3 days late last cycle !

Anyone find their OH is more impatient than you? My husband went on and on about testing, when can I test, what if I’m already pregnant etc so I ordered some early tests. Took one this morning 9DPO and obviously got a BFN which didn’t even disappoint me cause it means nothing but husband was really sad. Part of me thinks this is good cause maybe he’ll get off my case but I felt bad taking a test when I knew it was pointless. I’m due on my period Wednesday so I’m gonna leave it till then if I can but I’m not sure my husband will let me 😂

Hi @AllyCat31 ah it's sweet really, my OH thinks my boobs are a pregnancy test🤣 if I react he knows they're sensitive, and they're really only sensitive when I am pregnant😆
