@Slinks8113 I'm not a expert either chick I didn't want to read and ignore, my cycle has been strange this month too, currently 15 dpo but I never got the huge rise however I've maintained high temperatures for some time now it was just the initial it was slow as it was only rising by 0.2-0.3 degrees, I'm currently around 36.6 (taking from this morning) 1 day late with NO AF symptoms or real pregnancy other than the CM what is increased so much to point I feel like AF is coming.. slightly yellow at times too which I've never had before 🤔 hopefully you've ovulated though sweetheart only time will tell in the horrible TWW xx

kaylsd · 31/03/2021 20:20

@minthumbugs don't worry if I see anything like that they'll be straight removed, honestly it is so insensitive as so many people are fighting infertility battles or mourning their losses without it being placed on social media 😩😩 twat ends 😤🙃🤣

hullabaloo19 · 31/03/2021 20:39

Hi, may I join you? 3rd month ttc and had a chemical last month. Currently 11dpo, took a test yesterday that was bfn. Got some frer and planning to test tomorrow/Friday (af due Saturday).

Iloveoreos · 31/03/2021 22:34

@cyclogoose
A few days ago u mentioned u had ovary cyst pain..how r u feeling now. Also was it like a dull achy constant one?

Iloveoreos · 31/03/2021 22:44

@hullabaloo19 hiya..welcome hun xx. Sorry to hear about ur chemical..hope u r doing ok

CycloGoose · 31/03/2021 23:00

Oh god @kaylsd I just saw the thumbnail and was about to scream in delight and then saw it big 🤦🏼‍♀️ Don't April fool's us but if you do decide to test, please do share! Omg ax well just seen your later message - yellow is deffo a PG symptom so I have absolutely everything crossed for you!

@slinks8113 I'm no expert but that does look a bit unusual. Did you opk as well? My cycle was well dodgy post MC. It could just be to do with the change in the weather and if you're sleeping differently or anything. I reckon the one before the purples is probably higher than normal. Thinking of you tomorrow. Let us know how it goes please!

@iloveoreos I think it was my ovaries going mad getting confused signals about PG or ovulation. I still get slight pain but not as bad. I had a few where I was bent double for a few seconds and that's why they were worried about ectopic. Then it was like a dull throb. Like when Alexa has a message for you. It's still there a bit. But like I say they weren't worried even though it was just under 5cm big on the scan! Why do you ask? Are you okay?

KatieLooLa · 31/03/2021 23:16

@kaylsd I got it, y’know the smell of health food shops? That’s what pregnacare conception tablets taste like 😂

Seem to be a bit more emotional this month, felt like crying earlier all because I had a bit of an argument with my partner about the washing up (2 out of the 199 dishes were ones I’d actually used) ended up washing everything, going overboard on cleaning the place up before starting shift 10 of 10 at work. Seems bit silly now though but bright side is the only chores to do on my day off tomorrow is take doggy for a walk, cook her some chicken and probably give her yet another brush... I’m thinking of renaming her patches or scruff as after 5 minutes she looks a mess! 😂

Photo just cause she’s cute... sometimes!

@CycloGoose im getting a dull ache on one of my sides and getting worried :( i have a feeling is due to inositol. U take inositol too right?

CycloGoose · 31/03/2021 23:51

Ohhhhh Ares makes me smile @katieloola 💓 God we got really ratty today, too. Had an argument because we couldn't find the floor fixings for the loo but turns out they weren't bloody provided!

Where are you in your cycle @iloveoreos? Could it just be ovulation? I hadn't really thought about it being the inositol. I didn't take it whilst I thought I was pregnant though 🤔 Are there studies showing links? I thought it was relatively side-effect free?

Iloveoreos · 01/04/2021 05:11

@cyclogoose im cd 12 today and cb opk was a blank circle yesterday.havent tested today ..will do later.
The reason y i think its inositol related is because 1st month of taking it, i ended up with ovary torsion due to a large corpus luteum!! Had emergency surgery to fix it. Now its been 3 months and feeling a very mild dull achy pain since last 2 days..inositol does help stimulate eggs/ovary so i was thinking maybe thats what it is since u had ut too.i cant find any related links online though 🤷‍♀️

CycloGoose · 01/04/2021 08:13

I didn't know you'd had to have surgery @iloveoreos that sounds awful! If you're at all worried, maybe stop taking it?
I don't think mine was related because I hadn't had any for over a week because I didn't know if you should take it while pregnant. Hope you are okay xxxx

Iloveoreos · 01/04/2021 09:18

@CycloGoose im ok hun xx..had the surgery back in jan.wokeup one morning and just couldnt stand up straight with horrible nausea and vomiting and had to go a&e ..
Im going to stop taking it for a few days and see. It might not even be related to it but just made me think since u were on it and had a cyst pain aswell.
Ever since the surgery, everytime I get even a twinge in my side I get freaked out now.
Btw From what ive read, I kno some ladies continue to take inositol in preg as its supposed to help stopp gestational diabetes.

Fifi1086 · 01/04/2021 09:32

Hey everyone, I've been laying low a bit but still reading. I took last AF arriving really hard I think because we'd tried so hard last cycle. I'm on cd12 today and AF has only just gone!! I seem to have really long periods 😭 I got day 3 bloods done this month which came back normal and I'm back in for day 21 end of next week. I'm taking a break this month - no opks but I'm going to still do bbt as I find it interesting. Ttc took over my mind last few months so this month while I see what my bloods say I'm just not going to actively try, do any tests and just expect AF to arrive and i already feel like a pressure has been lifted!

CycloGoose · 01/04/2021 09:38

@fifi1086 that sounds like a good idea. Sending you all the love. Has it been full bleed that whole time? Did your doc say anything about that? I feel your pain. It becomes all consuming doesn't it.

Glad you are okay @Iloveoreos but I can see why you would feel stressed out! Hope the pain goes away for you xxxxx

minthumbugs · 01/04/2021 09:38

Wow @Fifi1086! I'm about 7/8 days and when I started on these forums I thought that was long. It's good your bloods are being done and they came back normal! Hopefully the weight off helps and it's your month 🤞🏻

Fifi1086 · 01/04/2021 09:52

Thanks guys. I'll mention it to him when I'm in for day 21 bloods, I didn't say it at day 3 in case last month was a once off. Just been to the bathroom and still bleeding. It has been pretty full on for about 7 of those days anyway. It's another reason I'm not really thinking about ttc this month, feels like this AF will only just be over and the next will be starting!

minthumbugs · 01/04/2021 09:58

Well I'm hoping you get a 9 month break from it soon @Fifi1086 xxx

Fifi1086 · 01/04/2021 10:05

@minthumbugs hahahaha so am I!!! I will literally never go on normal birth control after this again!

minthumbugs · 01/04/2021 10:07

@Fifi1086 me neither! Honestly I am terrified of it now, none of my friends are TTC but have all recently come off their contraception. More and more people are getting concerns I think, it almost feels barbaric to me now haha. Worth it for slightly more hassle!!

Slinks8113 · 01/04/2021 12:44

Hi guys, had consultation this morning and tests I had were 'perfect' in terms of AMH and the fact that we have conceived before shows that sperm and uterus / tubes are in reasonable order. He's not too concerned about the short LP and did say that they used to prescribe progesterone but it's been advised not to anymore as it's not really linked to helping a pregnancy.
He's basically said to stop the LH tests and temp monitoring as it seems everything is in working order and that's likely just causing unrequired stress. Hubby is going to get a sperm analysis to just rule that out and then we can continue to try naturally or move towards IVF as an option if we want a more supported approach so it's something we may consider but for now the temp monitor and the LH tests are going out the window haha! Xx

minthumbugs · 01/04/2021 13:36

That's good @Slinks8113 - perfect?! Sorry not sure what AMH means but sounds good. What CD are you on now? Good on you throwing caution to the wind now lol, hope it helps. X

Slinks8113 · 01/04/2021 13:56

It's something to do with quality and number of eggs you have available. He described it as each month there are a number of "egg recruits" and your body picks the best one so the higher the number, the better chance of a good quality egg. I just had visions of these eggs standing in a row waiting to be picked 😂😂 🥚 🥚 🥚 🥚🥚 🥚

CycloGoose · 01/04/2021 15:32

@Slinks8113 FREEEEDOM! Oh I'm so glad it all sounds really positive for you darling. Stress really does seem to be a big factor and my gp said same about progesterone.

I'm trying to stress less but there's no way I'm backing away from the data. It gives me a teeny tiny sense of control over what is ultimately not really controllable.

I'm totally insane though so don't follow me. I've just spent another 20 quid on supplements. I seriously should have just bought TTC specific ones and been done with it. These are all for my obsession about a thin lining. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Oops!

I'm also now completely against hormonal contraception. If only I'd known more!

Slinks8113 · 01/04/2021 16:21

@CycloGoose yeah I feel a bit more positive about it. I think we're going to try another few cycles naturally and then book in for IVF if no luck. My partner is much older so he's not keen to continue into next year really.
Ironically, my bbt rose this morning and Femometer confirmed I've ovulated 3 days ago so not sure what happened with the LH strips as they peaked the week before!
I'm just going to relax on this TWW and be reassured that I have options and it all looks positive from a functionality point of view I guess!!
How you feeling now? Have you ovulated yet or just starting? Sorry I think you wrote before but bit behind on what's been said! Xx

Fifi1086 · 01/04/2021 20:31

Bit of an interesting one, I had two separate readings done on pregnancy earlier in the year and both said May. I ignored cos I was like surely I'll get pregnant sooner than that! Anyway, in the height of my obsessive state ttc last month I ordered a reading from another person and only just found it in my inbox there when looking for something. It also said May 🤔 three separate readings from three different people saying May for positive test or conception. That's quite coincidental isn't it ?
