Congratulations to all with your BFPs, something's deffo in the water on this thread this month.... can I have some pls 😂😂😂🙌🏻

For those with BFPs can you share your cycle stories and what you did or may have done differently to get a BFP :)?

@minthumbugs if my period hasn't arrived by Monday I am going to test then, don't want to get ahead of myself and get disappointed. My partner also works away and he will be home Monday evening so will test together!

I actually stopped tracking my ovulation and testing this month. reduced so much stress I think that’s how I got pregnant :)
My cycle is 34 days after a miscarriage in December xx

So great to hear about BFPs coming through nice and strong.

I'm a bit too early to be testing, but will probably do one today/tomorrow morning 7/8dpo just to satisfy the feeling of wanting to do it!! Expecting negative at this stage, but at least the feeling of wanting to do it will be satisfied!

@kaylsd my story is exactly the same as @Laurashakey... we where actually avoiding getting pregnant this month! I didn't track, I did one opk to avoid ovulation, it wasn't positive so we had fun thinking we wouldn't catch any eggs and boom! Months before I've tracked daily, held my legs in the air, taken vitamins ect and nothing. I had my coil out in November.

@Laurashakey I'm 4+ 2 today according to my cycles. I've got a scan booked for 16th April xx

@marcella64 omg story of my life 😂 I didn’t want to get pregnant this month as only just got my new puppy so you can imagine how much of a hard work they are.. thought I’ll stop and see what happens in a few months or so but before that yeah I have been holding my legs up, taking pregnacare, tracking my ovulation, having sex every day and it didn’t work😅

Aw that’s lush! I’ve got one booked for the 10/4, I think I’m like 5 weeks and a day but not 100% @marcella64 x

Love everyone's stories of BFPs, next cycle I'm gonna take a cycle out of BBT & OPK and follow my body signs whilst I pester the GP to check blood work as I'll be cycle 8, for some reason I've never felt hopeful with this cycle and I'm not too quite sure why! I had my Aunty ring me last night though who told me she had a vivid dream that she saw her mum (who passed away) in her dream around a Moses basket covered with pink blankets saying there's a little girl coming soon and she rang me up straight away like omg is this you 😂😂😂🙌🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

11 DPO today ladies! Don't particularly feel any symptoms of such what point out, working all weekend so i do apologise if I continue to be quiet I'm on a long working stint! I'm planning on testing come Thursday/Friday if no AF because each time I see BFN it hurts that little bit more so I've learnt now not to put myself through too much when it comes to testing and just see how things pan out :)

So I did a FRER this morning (even though it's still very early) and got the faintest of faint lines!

It's a squinter for sure, but I'm just happy that something is going on in there if nothing else.

Will keep an eye on it for next week or so to see if it sticks around

Need some advice...
This is a bit of a story so bare with me...

I came off my copper coil at end of Jan
Had a period at beginning of February
Starting tracking temp after my period finished, I ovulated on Day 17 and my period started on CD35
This month I ovulated on Day 12 which was a huge shock and FF is saying that my period is due on CD32 which is 12th April
I am 3 dpo at the minute...
Like whats happening lol

I think some people experience some disruption after the copper coil - baffling as it is sold to us as the 'non-hormonal' option that doesn't cause upset to our cycles...

I had mine out right before ovulation this month, dtd avidly over ovulation period and have now got what looks like a VERY faint positive only 8/9dpo. I'm almost expecting it to fall through due to potential disruption from copper coil removal! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are you just confused about cycle lengths/changes to ovulation days?

Ttc #2, had my nexplanon implant removed 18/02, had what I though was a AF start the day before removal, but then AF again 07/03.
Currently 6dpo and it seems AF is looming, some pink spotting and small amount of red when checking CP (still high and soft, never really feels closed after baby no.1)
Obvs slight chance of implantation bleeding but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Fingers crossed @Yecats86 - like you say there's always next month if not! What was your experience of Nexplanon like?

I hated my implant with a passion after a year and half of love bleeding, it then blindsided me with a 3 month long bleed!!

Hi @halpmer, I didnt mind it, I actually stayed quite regular with it, seems to have messed up my cycles since though . My biggest issue was the weight gain, I probably wouldn't mind if it takes a few cycles to conceive as it gives me chance to hit the gym and lose a few lbs.

@kaylsd it's a horrible feeling seeing BFNs! I'm not a fan of early testing either, I don't think I'm going to test at all. Like until it gets to like a week post AF or something, obviously if it happens I'll have to find out at some point 🤣 don't work too hard! Let us know how you get on! X

@yecats86 bodies are so weird and wonderful, it's funny how you never care about your cycles etc until ttc then you obsess 🤣 it would be good if it was implantation bleeding so fingers crossed for you! Let us know how it goes. X

@Halpmer...yea terribly confused, GP says my periods wouldnt change at all once the coil was removed and obviously they have...like cycle lengths and ovulation days have been at different times?

@Mum2Girls19 I had mine removed and nothing was said about it. I just assumed nothing would change, I don't think anything has changed with me - although hoping periods are shorter, lighter and less painful if I get to next cycle.

Maybe it's to do with the copper having a lasting effect? A sensitivity to it perhaps? Just speculation, of course. Hopefully things start to get more normal for you if no BFP this time round (but fingers crossed for it!)

Sorry I’ve not been around much. OPK’s I was using seem to be pretty useless, so stopped doing it as lines weren’t getting any darker and seemed sporadic at best.
DTD last few days, this morning’s left me a bit sore! 😂
PregnancyUnicorn has me as conceiving between 12th September (my birthday) and 1st November (see attached). Hopeful it’ll happen before that though as it’s still a while away!
Hope everyone is doing well, congratulations to anyone that has gotten BFP’s if I’ve missed them.

9/10dpo - line definitely there now which means I've progressed since yesterday's super faint squinter. Still early days, but something to have hope for!

@Halpmer I realised after I clicked post that might have looked sarcastic ahhhhh I didn't mean it like that! I mean wow that's a strong line for 9dpo!

I've had a huge dip in temp today - CD13. My app is predicting O day as CD18 but I know it probably won't happen until CD21. Weird!

Is anyone else in the same boat as me that if you catch the egg this month you'll be due the week of Christmas? X
