@Iloveoreos I've never been diagnosed with anything just felt like it was something I should take. I was really drawn towards it and I suppose I got my first ever positive test it's just whether it's stuck

Do you have pcos? How are you finding it? I take 3 spoonfuls in my berocca. I haven't had any since my positive test though as I wasn't sure about it.

And you too @Laurashakey... Last year when I was pregnant I SOBBED at the bake off. Like to the point I was up all night thinking about it and couldn't stop ugly crying 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@cyclogoose i was recently diagnosed with pcos . And since my cycles were all over the place i.e no fixed dates ..so i was put on metaformin. I was told to get mid cycle scan and 21 day bloods when i have my next period

Also i take 2 spoons of inositol.full dose is 3 spoons for the brand i use but i take 2 since i started metaformin too. Cycles have regulated and so thats a good sign.

@CycloGoose I was on progesterone only pill until Xmas, cycles returned right away. I'm certain about ovulation dates because I use opk and track bbt. For two months my cycle was 28 days, ovulating on day 20. This month I managed to bring o forward with supplements to day 16 but it didn't change my luteal phase resulting in a shorter cycle. I've spent most of the morning crying - it's so frustrating

Oh @Fifi1086 I'm not surprised. That's very stressful. I would imagine it could have something to do with progesterone pill and it's still early days but I'd definitely flag it with your GP. My thinking is that if your body has been given progesterone through pill, it could take it a while to get used to making it again by itself. You'd still get period but shorter LP. I was on combi but didn't have a real period for 9 weeks when I came off so it is normal for cycles to sort themselves out.
What supps are you taking? Try to increase your vit c and if you feel comfortable taking Inositol, I'd try that too. But definitely flag it.
If money is not much of an issue, look at the OvuSense if you're worried as it is a medical (though not diagnostic) device and it tracks your temperature far more accurately than any oral thermometer.
Of course, I am not a doctor at all. I just felt my docs would listen to me more if I had scientific data.
It will come, give it time. A year is totally normal for TTC and we're all here with you xxx

@iloveoreos are you okay? Was it a pricey one? Which urine did you use? We'll keep you in our thoughts lovely. Really good the Inositol and metaformin are helping. It may just take a little time. Big cuddles.

No havent used the expensive ones yet.still used the cheapy one. If af doesnt arrive tomorrow then i will use frer or cb.
Ps..i dont kno why i chose thise username..i havent had oreos in months .well i had an oreo waffle this weekend via deliveroo but that doesnt count does it 🤣

@CycloGoose didnt use first morning urine.used one after but I had only had one cup if tea and half glass water by that time

@kaylsd Thanks lovely! I've tried cheapy OPKS and also took part in a trial/study thing for Clearblue digital but I never seemed to find my peak. Got to the point where it was stressing me out and making me think I wasn't even ovulating so decided to scrap it. I'm useless at remembering to temp too so I just do it the lazy way and use Ovia to tell me when to dtd and hope for the best!!

Who else is ttc #2? It feels so different this time around. Last time I was constantly thinking about babies/pregnancy 24/7 but now I'm really chilled about it all.

I had a MC in January, the same week of my 12 week scan, on my second cycle now & started using opk from the last day of my period. I gave the OH a heads up of the weekends plan as looking like a good time to dtd and he agreed.. well all weekend he's been to tired & last night when I got a lovely positive, he snapped at me for moving my arm 😳 so we haven't dtd in probably over a month now. I was gutted last night; I slept on the sofa because he was snoring & I just wanted to cry. Felt like I'd wasted my time with all the testing etc. So I basically thought that's me out for this month; but i took an opk this morning and got an even higher reading; so I am hoping and praying and doing whatever it takes to get him to go along with tonight; otherwise I will be throwing a tantrum 🤭

Hi @jodielouise26 good luck! I'm in a similar position with my MC in Jan too and also on 2nd cycle.

I think OHs don't have a clue that it's quite overwhelming doing OPKs and temping and so on! And have no idea about the science really, just think they can DTD whenever they please and that will be it 🤣 hope you get him today! X

Hope you’re all well❤️ @jodielouise26 thank you so much ❤️ Still can not believe it but have done my digit yesterday and had 1-2 weeks, so weird, 10dpo🤷🏽‍♀️😱 unless I’m later I don’t even know, I haven’t been tracking to be honest 😅 get on dtd tonight girlll! ;) could someone tell me I’m paranoid please, I feel the line isn’t darkening as it should be, and it’s getting me very scared, I think I am about 4 weeks today and top line is from this morning and bottom from two nights ago 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ah thank God I get so paranoid. I called the hospital as my GP has been absolutely shit last time when I was pregnant, they said to call again when I’m 6 weeks in and they will do my bloods then and an early scan I believe xx

@laurashakey yea it can be ..totally understand. If u want bloods done early at a reasonablw price check medicheck website. Ive had blood tests done by them for something else a while back and was reasonable. They send u a kit and u can either get it it done from hospital and post it or someone comes home to do it (at a cost) or they tell u if needle prick test will be sufficwnt which u can do urself at home and post the sample. It was really convenient.

I would say your lines are darker also, so hard not to be paranoid but they look good to me, as well as the other ladies that have agreed xx 😚

Hahahah😂😂 tie him to the bed!!!😈😅 i used to always text like 5 times a day with the OPK I had a real problem 😂 not this month tho this month I actually stopped and got pregs 😅
Aw I hope so, I’m thinking they should be a lot darker if these are day and half apart from each other but I’m probably just paranoid 🙁xx
