@Kay00 I swear you and @Juno231 are the FF chart whisperers! I'd tried playing with post O temps but never occurred to me to adjust the previous. Just hadn't been in the headspace to track anything early in this cycle. Popped in some random temps now. Think it's more likely I ovulated on 18/19 tbh and the temps are just a bit off as I only got the LH surge the afternoon of CD17 and only hit peak the next day on the CB. Kind of hoping that's the case as coverage is better.

@Gracie2021 it is one of the better coverages I’ve had to be honest, From AF to O I had the craziest sex drive! Kept hopeing it was a good sign 😂😂 your chart looks good now you’ve added those couple of temps in!

@FlyingGiraffe thank you! 10dpo and I have been feeling nauseous all day and keep getting pinching pains but really trying not to get my hopes up 🙈 it's probably just because I am looking for symptoms. Femometer also said it's detected an implantation dip at 7dpo which it has never said before. Chart attached for fun.

Hi lovely girls! Sorry I’ve been quiet lately, I’ve been keeping up with you all but haven’t felt like posting as I’ve just been waiting to ovulate and my longggggg cycle has really been getting me down. Anyway, I finally ovulated on CD27 after fifteen bloody days of the flashing smiley. We went HARD on the BD haha which I’m so pleased about, but I just don’t have a good feeling now. 5DPO and feel absolutely normal. This time on the cycle I got pregnant I had sharp stabby pains on my lower abdomen and I haven’t had any. Also I feel like my temps aren’t very high and tbh checking my temp every morning is giving me massive anxiety as I’m paranoid it’s going to just suddenly drop. I know I need to be positive and it’s still early days but I don’t know, I just don’t have a good feeling. Anyone else feeling this way? I just need to stay distracted and not think about it. I just feel really quite angry and upset that my cycles are so long and we’re not getting as many chances as those with a 28 day cycle :(

@TheHotelCalifornia I totally get it! And I’m sure it’s so much more frustrating with longer cycles. I’m sure you’re not out yet though. So many threads I’ve read that say they felt no symptoms and each pregnancy is different etc.

I just started listening to the Making Babies podcast. Has anyone else listened to it? I’ve really enjoyed it so far. It talks about miscarriage, IVF etc etc so not exactly an easy listen but refreshing to hear people talking openly about ttc and feel you’re not alone etc.

@TheHotelCalifornia I get that feeling, I didn’t have anything before my bfp last cycle it got to about 11dpo and I realised I hadn’t had my normal spotting before AF. It’s really hard to stay positive with this whole TTC malarkey.

@ChinChilly yeah I enjoyed it. And they said the whole ‘don’t stress’ thing is nonsense which was nice to hear!!

@Cams50 I listened to a podcast ages ago and he touched in stress and he said women get pregnant through war, domestic abuse and rape so the whole ‘don’t stress’ thing is nonsense.

@chinchilly that's what I think too! I'm so chilled right now, at this point in my life, I can't seriously believe that stress I stopping me from getting pregnant or ovulating!

@thehotelcalifornia I totally get it. I'm 10 months in, only 8 cycles and only 6 ovulations so I feel as though I have missed many opportunities. On the plus side we have both ovulated so both in with another go in the conception lottery!

Also, if temping is making you feel stressed then maybe give it a rest until you either get a BFP or AF arrives... it won't make any difference to whether you get pregnant or not, it's all down to biology now 😁

@Kay00 exactly, I can’t believe doctors think that taking your BBT or an OPK can cause enough stress to stop you from getting pregnant 🙄

My temp rose slightly this morning but I think AF is on her way to be honest so I’m not feeling excited about it

Just waiting for AF to start tomorrow. This was the first cycle FF labelled my chart as triphasic but alas my temp has plummeted now. So that'll be cycle 17 and no shot at an egg until cycle 18 😬

@Juno231 I’m awaiting the usual pre AF spotting to start today or tomorrow. What is a triphasic chart? I’m Still a charting novice! Lol!

@ChinChilly haha tell me about it! The holy grail of charts is what a triphasic is as far as I'm concerned lol. It's when 7dpo onwards you have a third temp shift - it's most commonly seen in BFP charts!

Hi everyone, was hoping to join too. I’ve been on the pill for 15 years and came off before Christmas. This is the first cycle trying for baby #1. I’m 6 DPO and obviously would be really lucky to get a positive but I was just wondering how would they date a pregnancy when you’re really irregular? My cycles have been 75-50 days so far. Would they go off the last date of your period, thinking you’re already about 8 weeks and then send you for a dating scan? OH says to lie so they don’t get the date completely wrong but I don’t know what most people do when they have crazy cycles. Any advice appreciated 🙂

@AllyCat31 I think they go by LMP and then adjust when you go in for a scan. I wouldn't lie as apart from anything you'll in effect be getting an early reassurance scan that others would have to pay privately for? There's no benefit to lying either - it's not like they'd think you're actually be 8 weeks pregnant!

@Juno231 Wow, a triphasic chart! Did you test??

So this morning I had a bfn and a temp drop so that's it for this cycle. Onto cycle 8. Realised with my 6 week cycles, at the end of the next one I will hit the 1 year mark. Starting to feel down about it all and feel that it might never happen, at least without intervention. Sorry for being a downer I'm just so fed up of it.

@Flowers222 the one good thing I guess is that you can get the ball rolling for tests? But yeah I know, it's not a good milestone. Mine coincided with Xmas which hit me extra hard and I did a lot of cryin!

@Kay00 nah, temp has plummeted today so AF will be here tomorrow! How's your temp today?

@Flowers222 I get how your feeling, I’m not quite at the year mark yet (stopped the pill in June) but I’m getting there the last time I spoke to the doctors and she agreed to get the ball rolling with tests etc, I felt this overwhelming sense of failure and I was just so upset all day! It was really wierd because that’s what I wanted but I felt like the doctor was agreeing there was something wrong! Enjoy all the treats today and be kind to yourself ❤️

I think I’ll be joing the 2022 baby club....safe to say this is a BFN 🤨

@ChinChilly @Juno231 @Flowers222 really sorry that you're all seeing disheartening signs for this cycle. Don't know what to say tbh as I know myself there's not much that can help raise spirits toward the end of a cycle especially a milestone cycle except time. Which is ironic when time feels like the enemy. Basically I know it absolutely sucks and am sending virtual hugs. Hope you all have support from the OH's and am still keeping the fingers crossed on the chance that there might be some hope left for this cycle and a temp rise out of nowhere or something. Mind yourselves lovely ladies xxx

@Juno231 no I didn’t think making up a date would be the best option 😂 I didn’t think of it like that though, I guess people pay a lot of extra scans so that’s a bonus really! Thank you. I’ll tell my OH to shut up 😂
