@MissC07 I'm so glad you had a good weekend and got to see your friend. Makes all the difference in the world. Dead right to enjoy the crisps abd champagne too!!

Still bleeding heavily over here :( Praying that it stops soon because my period is due again in ten days! I did also wonder if it might be a super early loss/rejected egg after fertilisation (which would have been 5/6 days ago) but not sure if that can happen before implantation.

@minipilling sorry your body is being so confusing. I would imagine this is your proper period (you earlier bleed bring your withdrawal bleed after you 2 x contraceptive pills), and everything is reset. In which case you should get a normal cycle ahead of you rather than another period in 10 days xx

@Kay00 sorry, I was probably unclear in the timings! I had my period as expected on the 17th March. It finished on the 25th March. I took a pill on the 26th and 27th but my OPK was still peak on the 28th so I had sex that evening just as a last try and didn't take any more pills. Started this current bleed on the 1st April :/

@minipilling I do think you are having a withdrawal bleed because you took the contraceptive pill for 2 days. So this might reset your cycle and you won't get another bleed in 10 days.

I'm 8dpo today and had a slight temp rise too. Though OvuSense is saying I am 6dpo which I am really hoping not as I don't have good coverage then. As my first month tracking RHR I am finding it interesting how it seems to be following my temps.

I needed a couple of days away from baby stuff.

Okay so big news for me.
Well not really to everyone else at all but it's a big deal to me.

I'm gonna start the opks again. From my previous posts you guys may remember I stopped doing them. I haven't done one since last august.my DH has said it for the last couple of months but I said no. This time I said no, but then thought I could give it a go this month and see. Im on cycle 16 I need to try it again.

I know you guys probably won't understand, but the stress it made me feel is why I stopped, and I didn't want to feel like it was taking over my life anymore. So I let go of that stress, chilled out(apart from when AF was due) , but still nothing all these months later. So the whole 'just relax it'll happen' is bullshit 😂

So yeah the upset of this week, when I was late and we finally thought maybe it had happened... Im now coming back to test with you all!

I feel like a newbie again. Shall. I start CD7?

@Flowers222 that looks so promising. Lovely temps going up. Fingers crossed for you. Also wow you really got the H OPKs for so long.

@minipilling I'd bet on it being a withdrawal bleed too even after just two polls. It's amazing how the pill can mess things around. Hopefully you're reset for a normal cycle ahead.

@Lovebug06 can completely understand needing to step away for a minute. I find I need a little bit of distance at the end of each cycle for a week or so to reset my mind and shore the defenses back up.

Hope you can find a rhythm with the OPKs that doesn't stress you out and instead can just use as a tool. Do you have a regular enough ovulation that you could just use them for a selected range of time each month and that way limit the stress a bit maybe? I also find the CB advanced much better for stress as they use FMU so if it's negative you can then forget about it and go on with your day instead of the cheapies which are best in the afternoon and therefore in your mind for the day a bit more. Also no ambiguity about how dark lines are etc.

@Gracie2021 that’s interessting about the CB opks do you think they are worth the money?

@minipilling I really wouldn’t read too much into this bleed, I agree and think it’s down to the few pills you took.

@Flowers222 your chart also looks good!

@Lovebug06 sounds like your much more positive, I tend to start around CD9/10 but I don’t ovulate until around CD18 so depending on when you ovulate really!

More really wierd dreams this morning, I think I tend to get these every LP but I definitely had them last cycle too. I’ve been kind of distracted because my gums are sooooo sore, near the back they are all tender and the front bled soo much last night when I brushed them 😭

@Juno231 I think you were right, I took away the second positive OPK as my peak was on 26th March and it’s pushed O back to CD18

@chinchilly it's a gorgeous chart really! Are you planning on testing pre AF?

@Flowers222 I'd def go with FF rather than ovusense - it ties in much better with the opks.

@Gracie2021 yeah I'm hoping something comes through the post soon. Toying wether or not to go private using DH private health but don't know where to begin asking for a scan.

@Juno231 it's the lengthening of my bleed that's concerning me the most. Feeling a bit flat today but mum is coming to sit in the garden for a bit

@minipilling I find doing some stretches helps with cramps too - DH giggles at me as I'm hyper mobile so can get into some pretty strange stretch shapes 😆

@ChinChilly looks like we ovulated on the same day then! I was considering testing on Monday but might try to hold out until 12dpo. When do you think you will test?

@Juno231 I think you are right. I also think FF is only giving me a dotted crosshairs because my cb opks and ic opks didn't match up on when my peak was.

@Juno231 @Flowers222 I’m not sure how I feel about testing early after last month, part of me wants to know then I remeber being obsessive about the lines getting darker

@FlyingGiraffe Ahh okay, that’s reassuring. Tbh I was just glad she showed up! Going to start using OPK’s next week to see if I’m ovulating. Now I’ve had AF it’s easier to pinpoint the day I can start checking just incase she is regular the next one and then we can start getting to grips with when to DTD.

@ChinChilly Yeah I was expecting a good 3 months before I even got a bleed tbh, so I’m happy with 6 weeks. Just need them to regulate now so I can start looking at cycles and when I ovulate. I wish they explained these things when you chose to go on contraception! Swear I wasn’t told anything about all of this!

Despite being in this game for 10+ months, I ovulate so infrequently and catch my ovulation on OPKs even less frequently on that (!) I have a question... I had OPK at 250% yesterday and 280% today... is ovulation more likely to occur in 24-36 hour after first + OPK or the last one?

@Kay00 I've always heard it's from the first peak but god knows... Ultimately won't matter if you manage to attack OHs aubergine 😅

@Kay00 I'm playing the same guessing game. One thing I always get sore breasts right after ovulation so even though my temps haven't gone up, that's the sign for me that it has happened.

Shortly after ovulation, estrogen levels drop, and progesterone levels rise. In some people, these shifts in progesterone may trigger breast pain or sore nipples. If a person becomes pregnant, progesterone levels will continue to rise. This causes breast tissue changes that can make the nipples or breasts sore.

So AF is coming which I knew anyway due to a plummet in temp and RHR. So far it’s more spotting so not counting it as CD1 but no doubt 2mo it will be in full force. My LP was 13 days so I’m happy about that but I’m only CD27 today so my cycle wasn’t as long as expected. Going for bloods on Wednesday for thyroid and fertility hormones as I thought Day 3 would be then but day 3 will now fall on Tuesday does this really matter??? Also get to start my thyroid meds too. Once bloods done need to ring up the receptionist for endocrinology who will arrange for dr to call me, had ultrasound on my thyroid this week so hopefully get that result at the same time.

I’ve just been trying to catch up with some of the thread and seen that @LauraT94, you are pregnant again?!

Is my memory correct that you were one of the lady’s that suffered a mc? :( I am so sorry, I am currently going through one myself having found out at our 12 week scan our baby stopped growing the week before.

To keep me positive I am trying to focus on trying again. Do you mind me asking how long it took you to get a negative test and also how long to fall pregnant again?

Massive congratulations to you! I hope you are able to relax and enjoy it as much as possible. I was bad enough with my last pregnancy, I dread to think how anxious I’ll be next time.

@Kay00 Happy Easter! And those OPKs 😱 wow mine have never had such a high number/ gone so dark. That has to be a great sign. So happy for you.
