@Moocher90 I THINK! what normally happens is the OPK is blazing positive before your period if you’re pregnant but i saw somewhere that some women do have an LH surge before before AF. I’m sure someone on this group tested the theory when they got a BFP...possibly @LauraT94?

@Moocher90 I’m certain I had a chemical in November and this was the OPK a day or so before I started to bleed

Ok guys, weird one here. I'm 5dpo and I'm bleeding. Only finished my period last week but due next in 12 days. It's too early for implantation right?! Had very mild cramping too. The blood was brown when wiping then red, checked just now and still happening, but it's not heavy yet. Also I've been starving/nauseous since last night. I'm not one for symptom spotting but can't really ignore the blood. I'm assuming it's just my cycle being weird! Got ovary/sciatic pain too but that just happens to me.

Anyone gotten any April Fools announcements? The SIL did it on a group chat. New relationship, not trying so playing it as freaking out. Doesn't know we're trying but another of the girls in the group is and mentioned how hard all the announcements are lately just a month ago so this today is just screaming insensitive 🙈🙈 why!!!!

@ChinChilly ah okay. My period is quite a lot heavier than normal especially yesterday so I just wondered.
I'm not much help on your other issue. It could be the progesterone.
I read at one point a symptom of early pregnancy is diarrhoea... Or can be constipation. But could also be as normal. Just like Wtf😂

SIL got pregnant in a month, moaned to me about being pregnant...

@minipilling I've had bleeding a few days after AF a couple of times but I don't think at 5dpo.i would say maybe you ovulated earlier than you thought but it seems quite quick. Sorry I'm not much help, hopefully someone else on here will know.
@Gracie2021 I haven't seen any so far. I've seen a few of the ones asking people not to do it for April fools due to those with Infertility or miscarriages.
I'd have been bloody fuming if I was in that group. Especially if she knew one of the girls is trying and is finding it hard. How horrible!

@gracie2021 yes, very insensitive 😒

@moocher90 I'm not sure how reliable the OPKs are I detecting early pregnancy. They pick up lots of different hormones so can pick up HCG, but they are also easily diluted if you drink lots of water. Best test with a pregnancy test if AF not show I a few days 🤞😊

@minipilling it is a little early for implantation at 5dpo, so either you ovulated earlier thar you thought or it could be a big of cervical erosion (normal, esp after sex). Hopefully its not an early AF amd clears up soon x

So I had had a dicky belly today. Not sure why as I haven’t eaten anything out of the ordinary. One very loose vowel movement....feel fine now but it came on very suddenly, sharp pain and the urge to go.... very bizarre. Maybe the progesterone?

@Moocher90 @ChinChilly yes I tested the LH in early pregnancy and it was true for me! They got gradually stronger as AF was due! Then blazing positives from AF due date onwards.

Sorry I've been very AWOL guys, I got really obsessive with trawling MN threads about pregnancy post-MC and it wasn't a healthy habit so I just took some time off!

But happy news to share today, I had my first scan this afternoon! I'm 6+6 and Bean is measuring bang on with a lovely strong heartbeat! I'm not sure if it might be a bit insensitive to post a pic so I'll err on the side of caution, though you're not missing much as it just looks like a prawn at this stage 😂 morning sickness and bladder infection are kicking my arse but it's all worth it after this scan! ❤️

So, a while ago I posted I was waiting for my first AF after finishing the patch middle of February and that I thought she was coming...Well, she did. Woohoo! On the Monday morning, so 6 weeks after my withdrawal bleed, meaning I wasn’t quite at my 28 day cycle to keep me regular so hoping the next one straightens out a little and I’m not waiting another 42 days. But, at least I know she’s working which is the main thing as I truly thought I would be waiting 3 months for my first one! However, she only lasted 2 days? Is this normal coming off contraception? My patch bleeds were 4/5 days. Yet this one started Monday morning as soon as I went for my morning wee, lasted all that day. Was there Tuesday morning, trailed off though the day, and come Wednesday I had no blood on the pad whatsoever. Yet still experienced cramps all Wednesday and slightly today without any blood. So weird!

Congrats to those who have caught baby dust!

I honestly haven’t got a clue how you girls remember what each of you have said btw, so I’m not being rude! I go to write and just can’t remember any tag names so if I’m missing a trick to reply to you please let me know!

Update: bleeding has continued so I doubt implantation, but it's become quite a lot heavier too with some small clots. I double checked and my last period only finished a week ago. Pretty worried right now :/

@JT90 mine have also only lasted 2 days since coming off the pill (I've been off it 5 months now). I'm also on 40+ day plus cycles. It can take a while for bodies to go back to 'normal' post pill. I'd def recommend temping if you don't already as it gives me a clearer pic of what's going on 😀

@minipilling sorry about the bleeding 😞 I wouldn’t worry. I wonder if it’s because you went back on the pill for those couple of days? Maybe it just messed up your cycle a little bit x

@Cams50 yes, DH reckons that's what it is. Such a bugger though if it's just from two pills! It's basically like a period now with cramps to match. So tired!

@minipilling Sorry you're bleeding again so soon. Maybe @Cams50 is right with her theory that the couple of pills could have done it. Hope it settles down soon.

@Gracie2021 that's really not too considerate of your friend with the April fools joke. I remember someone Facebook hacking OH years ago saying I was pregnant! I was raging! Thankfully we were a different time zone to family at the time so I managed to get it taken down before my poor mother had the shock of her life!

@ChinChilly did your temp go back up this morning?

@JT90 I came off the pill last May and I've had regular cycles but my periods were so light for the first 4 months - all with old dark bleeding. Then suddenly they changed. I think it just takes a while for your body to settle after contraceptives.

Is anyone testing in the next few days? I'm 8dpo today and have been symptom spotting up a storm! 😂 I really want to test on Sunday but think maybe I'm tempting fate. I had v.v.light pink on the tissue yesterday afternoon but nothing since. I was also super dizzy yesterday and my boobs feel really heavy. Oh and I had a sharp pain two nights ago that took my breath away a little! I dont want to get my hopes up but it's hard not to every month isnt it?! 🙈

Morning girls, I am also another one that has gone quiet recently. I'm 7dpo with nothing to report. My temps are a little lower and a bit more up and down than normal, so not feeling hopefully this cycle.

Anyone doing anything exciting for the long weekend? We are going to be building decking in our garden, then plan on visiting a local heritage site for a nice walk on Sunday and then hoping to host a bbq with some friends on Monday, assuming it doesn't snow as currently predicted 🙃

I tempted fate! I just went to the bathroom and there was a bit of blood! 😭 Typical!

@FlyingGiraffe all those symptoms sound promising? Is it a lot of blood with any of the usual af symptoms? At 8dpo it could be implantation bleeding. What are your temps doing?

@JT90 my periods were abit wierd for a while, my GO said cycles can take about 6 months to get back to normal.

@minipilling I agree with everybody else it was probably the 2 pills that sent things abit crazy.

@LauraT94 wow, that is going so quick, glad evergthing is going well.

@FlyingGiraffe my temp did go back up. Wierd thing is I remember last cycle I had a dream about my car being stolen that felt so real I had to look out the window ans check it was still there...and exaclty the same happened last night 🤨 also i think IB can last a couple of days

@Flowers222 No it wasnt a lot. I feel like I don't have a normal way of AF showing up 😂 I usually have super early spotting but theres been no pattern to when that's started or how. I think that's given me the excuse not to go wasting my last frer anyway! (I have more coming on Monday but let's not talk about that! 😂) My temp went back up this morning. I actually took it half an hour early - hence the triangle. I also had one from last Sunday with daylight savings but that was technically my normal time. Your weekend plans sound lovely. I'm meeting a friend for a slow waddle as she's about 27 weeks pregnant! And then a few more walks planned for the other days. Just nice having 4 days off! Although the distraction of work right now would be useful!
