Ladies... I think I ask this question once per cycle and I think I know the answer: no, I haven't ovulated, my temps are too low 😆

But wdyt? Ovulation??

@ChinChilly sorry to hear you are feeling down at the moment but glad to see your GP is going to get the ball rolling for you to get seen by the fertility clinic.

I haven’t been active much in here as been a bit down myself. I keep getting reoccurring thrush winch coming off the pill and it’s on and off but last month it hindered things and today it’s just awful again I’m so fed up with it.

I’m seeing my GP next week who is going to have a look and take some swabs.

I feel like it’s possibly a skin irritation

@ChinChilly it's such a rollercoaster of emotions and you have been through a lot. I hope your doctor is more understanding in the future, and the tests can provide some answers for you. I am not quite in the same position as you, but have found this process really disheartening lately.

@Kay00 one more day of a high temp and maybe...? Keep us posted.

CD10 of cycle 6 for me, and second day of flashing smileys. I usually ovulate on CD12 so heading in the right direction.

Does anyone else get twinges in their pelvis generally? I've noticed it more lately, not only around time of O, but randomly in my cycle. I'm hoping it's nothing sinister, but can't help my mind questioning everything!!

@Tillybabs @Nellieee it is a real emotional rollercoaster, the whole referral to a fertility clinic has left me with the overwhelming feeling of failure 😞

@Nellieee I used to get the odd twinges and like you thought there was something sinister was going on but I haven’t noticed it the last few months

@ChinChilly it’s definitely not failure. There could be so many reasons why it hasn’t happened yet but it doesn’t mean it won’t.

I’ve got my first appointment with the fertility clinic in May so looking forward to some answers at least.

I don't know if anyone remembers me saying I've been bleeding after sex since last year (even while I was on the pill, more so though since coming off it) and I had an examination, when the dr was examining she said I had an inflamed cervix, but I've just got my results back and everything's fine and dandy but she hasn't told me what it could be? Sex isn't an issue he isn't too rough or not doing enough before it and it's not uncomfortable but I just don't know what it could be.. has anyone else ever been told they have an inflamed cervix? 😅

/@Melissaq94 Hmm, interesting... I used to bleed a lot after sex and although I never got it checked out specifically (I was told it was probably 'normal' for me... whatever that means) I do suffer with a lot of random inflammation!

@Melissaq94 oh actually one of the ladies on another bus I'm on had a smear this week and was told her cervix was red and inflamed so they sent her off on a gynae referral she's now waiting. Maybe try and follow up? Normally bleeding after BD is cervical erosion but I'd def want the docs to look into it for peace of mind

@ChinChilly @Tillybabs I've been quiet too (relatively for me anyway). I'm in FW now but honestly feel there's no point and I think this is the first cycle where I don't feel hopeful or excited about it finally being our time.

@Nellieee my right ovary seems to twinge/ache all throughout the TWW nowadays and I can't fathom why. I was convinced they'd tell me I had a cyst or a blocked tube there when I had my tests the other week but there was no mention of any of it so god knows. I'm CD12 and due to ovulate in the next few days so we can be cycle buddies again :)

@Kay00 I agree - if you get one more temp like I'd say it's looking like ovulation could finally have happened?

@Juno231 yeah the doctor said to me, she said if it comes back as something they can't treat they will and if not they'll refer me to a gyno but nothing else has been said! I'll attach what they said on ask my gp.. don't even understand the message if I'm being totally honest 😂 "the results are all at an acceptable level" what do swabs fully check for is it just thrush and STD's and all that jazz?

@Kay00 there's absolutely nothing normal about our bodies after the pill so god knows why this would be classed as normal 😂😂 my OH's response was "cos I is massive" and "i guess I need to up my foreplay game" aren't boyfriends just a delight 😅😅😅

@Juno231 I feel exactly the same, I just feel so MEH! About it all! I don’t think I can deal with getting my hopes up again tbh.

@Melissaq94 that sounds exactly like something my OH would say, When i got BFP he was super pleased that his swimmers were working now I’ve told him he’s gonna need to do an SA he’s pulling faces 😂

@Flowers222 @Kay00 sorry I missed your replies before.
They tried to say no more action after my bloods came back fine but I now realise that we're fobbing me off. I will get onto it this month after AF. I felt mentally drained last month, it's hard to explain, I had to just give myself a break (although still tried) also still waiting for dhs sperm analysis to be done and they won't refer be before that apparently. He has kids though so it's unlikely to be him.

After 15 cycles it feels like it's never gonna happen. But when AF is due I still hope even though I try so hard not to. I'm 9dpo and I start to get this feeling of dread now. I think it's because I know how awful I feel when AF comes. I hope one day soon that awful heartache is replaced with happiness!

I'm rooting for you all!

Hope y'all are good. I'm just loitering at CD 12. Waiting on my bloods results in a couple of weeks. Nothing to report!

Just reading through the comments and feel like a lot of people are feeling very down and meh about it all which tbh sums me up for the last couple months too. Forget all the woo woo and trying everything and anything, even taking the daily folic acid just seems a bit pointless at the moment. Trying to keep in my mind that the current mood is really heavily contributed to by that horrible little C word visitor that arrived properly about a year ago and won't bloody go away. Think right now is just a very tough time for all of us struggling TTC. No magic fixes but hope you're all being good to yourselves xxxxx

@Melissaq94 funny enough I think I might have something similar. I’m seeing my GP next week because I’m having issues.

How frustrating though that you still don’t know what is causing it.

If I do and the GP tells me more I will let you know.

This morning I'm tentatively excited... FF has given my crosshairs and my cervix return to closed and firm yesterday... so maybe, just maybe, I ovulated?? My temps are pretty low for post ovulation though... so I won't get my hopes up too high just yet 🙃

@kay00 it’s good news that you have possibly ovulated! I’m 4DPO so we can be cycle buddies

Hi everyone, sorry it's been about a month. I got my positive OPK last month and decided to skip TTC because I felt overwhelmed with Covid worries, worries about my chronic illness etc. I've also had another horrible period that is just coming to an end, I'm due to take my first OPK this cycle later today.

I'm so sorry for people's losses on this thread, it's deeply sad and discouraging to hear these stories. I hope you are all feeling OK.

Sorry everyone's been feeling so down with TTC. We're due a bit of luck in this group I think now!

@Kay00 Tentative congratulations on ovulation! Hope tomorrows temperature confirms it for you!

@ChinChilly I feel you about the fertility clinic thing, but I like what @Tillybabs has said about there being plenty of reasons why it hasn't happened yet, but it doesn't mean it wont. We've got months to go before anything actually comes of the referral so hopefully we'll both catch in the meantime.

I'm CD16 today and my cheapy opks never quite got to peak and now they look to be going back down. My temperature was still low this morning - is there a chance I will still ovulate? The clearblue advanced peak was cd14 and 15...and I had high cheapy opks on both those days.
I'm a bit worried now!

@FlyingGiraffe I had a strong OPK (86%) CD12 and possibly ovulated CD15, which was about 72 hours later, which (as far as I have read) is perfectly normal. So if you had your peak over the last couple of days you could still ovulate tomorrow, or the day after x

@Kay00 fingers crossed you did ovulate and you get solid lines tomorrow!

I'm 9DPO today, although have had zero symptoms and if I'm honest have had no urge to test at all. I'm convinced I'm out this month due to bad BD timing so I'm going to wait until AF arrives! Just feeling so blergh about it all. Chart attached just for something to look at to pass the time!!

@MissC07 your timing wasn't that bad you DTD on 0-2 which is the best day, and you had EWCM, so your body should have been very welcoming to said seed

@MissC07 that's a beautiful chart though - you're def in with a good chance at O-3 BD :)

@kay00 ooh I'm happy for you! Did you test the once on CD12?

@FlyingGiraffe sounds like today or tomorrow could be ovulation day - that would be a normal lapse after a peak opk.

@Lovebug06 when is OH's SA being done? It was the same for me, they only refer once all those initial tests are done (I also had an ultrasound though but not everyone seems to get that at that stage).

So I had my follow up call with the fertility doc today. All tests are fine, AMH is 21.3 so I'm happy with that, and TSH was 3.13 which she said is fine too. So I officially have the title of unexplained infertility. She said next steps are to wait until the 2 year mark to start my application for IVF. In the meantime she suggested I get a laparoscopy done so she's referred me for that. Oh and I asked if we were good candidates for IUI privately and she said not to bother as there is nothing wrong with my ovulation or his swimmers so there won't be any benefits of doing it.
