No mean girls reports to MN last time ladies 😆🙌🏻I don’t know whether that’s a result or not, but seeing as it was the Spring Zen bus I think that was good 🦋🌸🌷🌻

So it’s back to the usual routine & realising men know NOTHING about ovulation, but then again, do our bodies?? Except for the science teachers that is 😉

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far.

Our bus is helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

Last month we had some fab BFPs including an OG 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻so bring on March for more of the same please as well as investigations IVF fun for some others...
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

August 18 BFPs
Sep 4 BFPs

@paintfairy thank you really hope so xxx

Gem176 · 15/03/2021 23:15

Thank you all for the lovely comments, you guys are the absolute best ❤️ full half hour of scanning to get that image as beano didn't want to be still at all and I went into that appointment with a FULL bladder so towards the end I thought I was going to pee myself 😳

I definitely feel a big chunk of the anxiety has lifted, hopefully I will be able to relax a bit more and start to feel excited 🤞🏻

Must be a little more relaxed as I got home, ate dinner then zonked on the couch, I've just woken up a bit unsure of what day it is 🙈😂 off to bed before I lose the sleepy and will have a proper catch up tomorrow as I'm on a day off 🙌🏻 night all xx

Haiyaa · 15/03/2021 23:31

@DJmum83, cyclizine is one of the first line drugs recommended to treat nausea and vomiting in pregnancy as is prochlorperazine. I am surprised they offered the buccal prochlorperazine as that is usually offered in migraine and the Royal College of Obstetricians indicate 5-10mg every 6-8 hours (this would be the oral tablet). Once at steady state (I.e you have been taking it regularly enough to keep a relatively constant amount in your blood), 3mg buccal twice daily is more or less equivalent to 5mg three times daily orally. I expect the doctor was trying to be helpful because of course having medication orally is only useful if you are able to keep it down long enough to work.

Did they say you can use two of the buccal tablets twice daily? Certainly if you are taking the max that you have been prescribed and you still can’t function with your sickness I would speak to GP. Sometimes they have to combine meds from different classes to get things under control but don’t worry there are many options.

Hope you feel better soon.

DJmum83 · 15/03/2021 23:36

@Haiyaa I felt the Dr was a bit clueless to be honest. It says to take 1 to 2 twice daily, they dissolve in between my lip and my gum.
My consultant called me today to discuss my second COVID jag and she said take 1 morning - mid afternoon and bedtime.
I actuallly feel ok just now and not being sick. Will see what I'm like when I wake up as that's when I'm at my worst. If no better I will ask him to try cyclizine.

Thanks for your message.
Hopefully things will start to improve xx

lucyrp · 16/03/2021 06:43

@DJmum83 I didn't feel they did much to start with if Anything they made it slightly worse for the first 24 hours but when I realised how I should actually be taking them as the doctor just told me "as and when you need them" which isn't correct, I started taking one 3 times a day and it helped loads. I took them for about 2 weeks and then started slowing the dose down to 2 and then stopped them when I thought I felt better.
Aww that'll be lovely having the last as a surprise 🥰xxx

DKDK123 · 16/03/2021 06:54

@Vil10 @Juno231 I've added @paintfairy to our weekend challenge incase you're wondering who the random is. 😊 If anyone else with a fitbit fancies joining us just pm me your username. It won't let me add people midway thru a challenge for the weekday one but I can add you to the weekend one before it begins. Let's get our butt's moving 🏃‍♀️

Clairey844 · 16/03/2021 06:57

Morning all, just doing the usual catch up.

@Vil10 Them brownies, OMG think I've just felt my first craving 😂 so plan for the day is to mention baking a chocolate cake to DD so she 'asks' to make cakes...and we'll make brownies 😂
Happy birthday for yesterday btw 🎉

@Franklydear them little shoes 🥰 hope they make it in time.

Sorry to all those that have lost their mum's-I have a friend who lost her mum recently and I messaged her Sunday after seeing all the posts of FB and realised how hard that must be when you don't have her around anymore-sending hugs.

@Ltay2 sorry to hear you're in for the long haul. But at least that's no cooking or housework for you so maybe just pretend you're on an all inclusive holiday pre baby's arrival and call room service for that extra pillow 😘

@DJmum83 glad your scan went well-enjoy telling everyone your news 🥰

Crikey @larrythelizard how scary and glad all seems to be ok-must have been terrifying for OH. Take it easy for a bit x

Have only reached Sunday eve so still some catching up to do so will be back later to carry on ha ha-have got pins and needles in my right hand (thanks good old carpel tunnel) so this is all I can do for now.

Love to all x

Minster2012 · 16/03/2021 08:26

Morning ladies!

Missed lots yesterday! Sorry, feeling really crappy and just so busy, not got lots of headspace atm. However. We are in the 900's and need a new bus soon! Titles anyone?

Someone asked when I last tested. Last weds, based on what the consultant said I should be ok for taking northisterone from next Tuesday, based on my high on opk that would out my period as 10 days late so I guess by that's stage it's definite. ☹️

paintfairy · 16/03/2021 08:34

@DKDK123 random 🤣🤣 I've got horrific cramps right now, so I'm not sure today will be productive!
@Minster2012 sorry still no AF! Proper piss take! When you want it, it's nowhere to be seen. When you don't- there it is! Maybe it's secretly a man?
I feel like this bus has lasted longer than usual?

AF has arrived for me. On waking. So at least it wasn't delayed too long. I didn't even get any spotting before it, even after I stopped using progesterone. Completely nothing. Then bam. Maybe that is what normal people are like?! 🤔

Franklydear · 16/03/2021 09:15

Not having the best of mornings, just tired and everything going wrong, so listening to Metallica on the bus 🤘

Juno231 · 16/03/2021 09:23

@paintfairy ha that's what mine is like most of the time! but I'm so glad the progesterone stopped the spotting for you! here's to next cycle being the one! With you ovulating earlier than me but having a longer LP I think we'll end up ovulating around the same time again this month potentially!

Juno231 · 16/03/2021 09:23

@DKDK123 I hoped that third person was @paintfairy but I'm glad you confirmed it Grin

Florence13 · 16/03/2021 09:36

Morning everyone,

@Minster2012 sorry your feeling crappy hear if you need to talk and sending virtual hugs to.

@paintfairy aww yes that’s good that you didn’t get any spotting I don’t usually get any spotting before my af.

@Franklydear sorry to hear your not having the best of mornings.

Tornado2Inc · 16/03/2021 09:40

Sooooo, happy-clappy 4dpo here. Soon, SOON! Streets will run yellow with piss 🤣

TWW going great so far, one sleeve left to finish my project cycle 2.

Weather is great, went for a run, messed up my knee, so I limp and knit.

Sorry for radio silence ladies, work has been insane, sometimes I forget to take a loo break, let alone check my phone. Miss good old days when procrastination was an option! But hey, at least time is not dragging this time round.

@Franklydear Sorry about crappy morning, but YAAAAAASH! Metallica!!! 🤟

Kirky658 · 16/03/2021 09:45

@djmum83 6 weeks tomorrow till my 20 week scan seems ages away. Sorry you're still struggling so badly with sickness hun. We are deffo going to find out can't wait.

@minster2012 sorry you're not feeling best right now, sending hugs lovely and @franklydear crank up that Metallica! My DH would approve wholeheartedly

I really cba with work today. I need to record a webinar presentation but my boss was like oh before you do it I need to check it all... Bearing in mind this is me nipping away from the other departmental jobs I've been covering for the last 10 weeks so she can't expect it to be amazing... Grrrr

paintfairy · 16/03/2021 10:02

Called up to book the HSG. I've got to wait for them to call me which might be nearer the time, assuming they can fit me in this month. 🙄 But I'm not allowed to dtd at any point before. So they'd better not leave it too late to let me know!

Crazydoglady123 · 16/03/2021 10:09

Morning ladies, just had my first IVF consultation and going to copy and paste what I wrote on another thread. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🙏

So had my consult and my head is now 🤯 I'm low in Vit D so need to start taking some tablets. Couldn't quite understand what he said my AMH was but he said was really good. He wants us to do IVF ICSI due to MF morphology but if on the day the sample is okay we can do normal IVF. He couldn't understand why my consultant has put me back on Clomid 😐 He wants to do long protocol which I thought they'd do short because of how I responded to Clomid however he has given me the option to start off this cycle if we abstain. I'm on CD6 today and last day of Clomid. All he wants is for me to ovulate before down regs on CD21. Starting this month is better date wise than starting next cycle however my OH has made some changes for over a month now (no hot baths, Wellman). We have a Nhs scan with my consultant Monday to track how many follicles I have. If I have too many and he tells me to abstain I may see if he can trigger ovulation and deffo go off this cycle. If we don't have too many is it even worth trying this cycle on Clomid still when last time I released 5 and didn't get BFP. My OH has left it to me to decide...in an ideal world he'd love us to conceive naturally but he understands how much I'm suffering mentally month after month. The IVF clinic said I can let them know on Monday after the scan but at the minute I'm like 75% wanting to go off this cycle and 25% waiting. It's my OH 30th birthday in May and we have so many get togethers with friends and he won't be able to drink at them if we go off the next cycle.

Haiyaa · 16/03/2021 10:23

Sorry you are not feeling great @Minster2012, we certainly have noticed the absence of our fearless driver so whatever you need, we are here and make sure to take care of yourself.

@Tornado2Inc, rivers of piss 🤣🤣🤣 nearly cycle buddies, 3DPO here but trying to hold back the river until Monday.

Did you get your covid results back @larrythelizard?

@Franklydear yes Metallica! We managed to see them in London last time they were here, it was EPIC!

@Crazydoglady123 I have no idea regarding IVF protocols but to me waiting until you have as much information as possible then making your decision seems reasonable. How deficient were you on vitamin D? I’m sure we’ve discussed it on here before. Will you be put on a loading dose?

Crazydoglady123 · 16/03/2021 10:28

@Haiyaa oh really? I'm not sure... I couldn't understand everything he said and the connection kept juttering. He said I need to take min of 4000mg Vit D but to see if my doctors will prescribe me some higher ones (15000mg I wrote down) Just waiting to speak to the doctors and see if they can do that.

paintfairy · 16/03/2021 10:43

@Crazydoglady123 is your clomid consultant an NHS one? And your IVF one private? Just trying to work out the inconsistency.
As for timing- I think you need to go with whatever seems logical body wise, cycle wise, sperm wise and whatever else to give it the best shot. Not what's more convenient family event wise, that really wouldn't factor for me, because it has no bearing on the success of it.

Haiyaa · 16/03/2021 10:46

@Crazydoglady123 maybe levels not super low if that is the case but just need to be a bit higher to support conception/IVF? In our trust if patients are deficient we usually give 50,000 IU weekly for six weeks.

Clairey844 · 16/03/2021 10:55

Oh @Ltay2 just seen your Sunday evening update! Glad they're letting you wait until 38 weeks but I totally feel the pain of missing out on a takeaway 😂 Can OH visit, or meet you at the entrance and do some sort of drug deal stylee handover? 😂😂

@Catherinettc that was lovely reading about your mum and her FUNeral sounds amazing-is it inappropriate to say I wish I had of been there. I love things like that, and I bet it was her down to a t.

@Minster2012 can't believe AF is still AWOL. Can't think of any witty bus titles but will try lol, sorry you're feeling meh. Sending love to the most awesome bloody bus driver ever, we're all here for you because you're so damn supportive to all of us so sending good vibes xx

@notyetamumbuttrying that's great news about the funding and your first appointment being so soon 🥰

@Haiyaa ahhh my DD is 3 next week! Totally feel you on the how are they 3 already!

Hope you're feeling better today @Justanothercyster

@Gem176 ahhh lovely scan pic 🥰🥰🥰 now relax...until you start the worrying all over again 😂😂

@DKDK123 I feel you with the inner crushing gut feeling when people have a happy accident...we weren't even trying they say 😬😬😬 and you have to smile and not let your face betray how you're feeling inside. But love the 🌈 sign, you get back on the horse...I mean the 🍆, my 🤞🏻 are crossed for you.

Phew, have reached the end! Sorry to all I've missed.
Haven't heard many people mention them recently but a friend who is TTC (who I told about them when I got my BFP) took seven seas for 1 month and fell pregnant!! She's 7 weeks so far and had been trying for nearly a year with a loss in the middle so if any newbies haven't tried them I'm vouching for them and adding another success story 💞

Crazydoglady123 · 16/03/2021 10:57

@paintfairy yes correct. In my head I shake the feeling that the month before last on Clomid I potentially released 5 eggs, DTD every other day and didn't get BFP so it's not worth trying this Clomid cycle naturally. The consultant seemed quite encouraging to abstain and start on this cycle. My only worry with seeing people is my headspace. If people are asking us why we aren't drinking etc I'm not going to be able to cope. Financially it's not different for us if we go this cycle or next, we're still having to pay for it.

@Haiyaa I'm waiting for the nurse to call me to confirm. The connection was terrible and I couldn't understand half the stuff he said first time anyway 🙈

Crazydoglady123 · 16/03/2021 11:04

I've also just worked out that these would be the days I think of down regs & stims in red, blue EC and yellow ET and the weekend EC would be my DS weekend at his dads which will be handy if I'm a bit tender. I think my mind is now 95% made up

Bus 35- where womb spring cleaning is not allowed & TTC recycling is aired on the street
paintfairy · 16/03/2021 11:05

@Crazydoglady123 its worrying that nhs drs and private ones don't appear to have had the same training?! I can't believe how much contradiction there is. So, why did they think you needed clomid? They must have had a reason? Who knows! I suppose my only thought would be that you are only allowed it so many times at all and being you've been taking it, it seems a waste to throw the month away as that'll be a month you aren't allowed to take it later, IYSWIM?
@Clairey844 I've been taking seven seas for 3 months. Definitely doesn't work for me. 🤣
