March 2021 TTC Bus!

Hey everyone! Thought I would start a March 2021 TTC bus. I'm TTC for first baby, cycle #8, CD12 hopping off from Feb 2021 bus. Wishing lots of baby dust and BFPs to all! Xx

@Cuddles21 You're right, it is very frustrating and it's better to not let it get us down.. I'm happy for it to take as long as it takes for a second baby but as mentioned in my previous posts, with short cycles (which I've only just realised after looking back across my tracking apps), it gives me a short Luteal phase and this isn't great when TTC. Spoke with a doctor who sort of agrees but told me that I need to keep trying for another 9 months before they intervene. So it sort of feels that even though in the back of my mind, I know there is some sort of issue but because they work off timescales, I have to to just wait. The thought of constantly using OPK's, 'arranging sex' and doing this every month for another 9 months just doesn't fill me with much excitement when I pretty much know what the result will be each month.

@dunkedbiscuit yes, I have had the same as you in terms of cramping And also a bad back ache for the past 2 days, but that could be my sleeping position 😅. Well, I wish you all the best next week and hope that you get that bfp even though you feel it may not be your month. Please keep me updated on how you get on xx

@millionairesshortbread4 I am terrible, I think I actually have a poas addiction 😅 ., last month turned out to be very expensive only for AF to arrive 🙈 I have been telling myself that this month I am going to be more patient and not start testing until 9/10 dpo 😂 I know even that is early but not as bad as last month so still progress 😂 please stay in touch and let me know how you get on xx

I had such a clear dream last night of taking a pregnancy test, it being positive & then going back to bed to wait for DH to wake up to tell him. When I actually did wake up this morning it took me a few minutes to work out it wasn’t real! There is literally no escaping the TTC obsession, even in my sleep!!!

I’m at the same point as you I think in my cycle - about 7 dpo - I’m not really sure when it is with the clear blue ovulation tests.. is it the day after you get static smiley?

I’ve also been trying since May last year.. so coming up to the year mark soon - but still symptom spotting 😂 I can’t believe I’m still doing it to myself this far down the line!

I was exact same as you! I’m 30 and I just worried about it not happening easily so we started earlier than needed to. And I’m so glad we did as we are nearly a year down the line! I told my Mum at the start we were going to TTC and this was before we were supposed to have a big wedding that didn’t happen due to covid and she thought it was all too soon and would happen very quickly but I just knew deep down it would take a while. I’m just like you as I just can’t imagine not having children so really want it to happen soon 🙏 I’ve thrown everything new at it this month - clear blue ovulation tests, preseed, I’m having acupuncture. So hoping it helps. Have you found yourself trying different things each month?

Yeah I believe it's meant to be the day after the static smiley.

I'm 26 and this would be my first baby. Cycles like clockwork, no spotting etc in between, never even had a whiff of a BFP before.
Last months AF was particularly painful (most excruciating of my life) and v heavy so possibly a chemical

Had the tests..at doctor. Am all ok. So fed up of that single line. I’m on day 11 dpo today and bfn. Always a disappointment on a friday after work! I’m nearly 40. It’s be my first pregnancy. It feels like it’s be a unicorn now! I’ve tried it all, the app, the tests, the acupuncture...the SMEP! Fingers x”Ed for me this month! (And you all! 🥰)

Ughh girls, I've been so emotional today...Don't know wether to laugh or cry. Bloody hormones! I'm 5dpo today, feel like I've had a few symptoms but who knows if it's a BFP coming or AF! Not due for another week at least 🤦

Symptom wise I always have cramping and mood swings from ovulation to day 1, anyone else experience similar?

I’m currently on cycle day 15. My cycle is usually 28 days, occasionally 30.
I had my positive OPKs yesterday.
I had a miscarriage at the end of January. It wasn’t planned and I was on the pill. Initially we planned to wait a year or 2 before TTC but after the miscarriage we decided to TTC now as it made us realise we want a baby sooner rather than later. We weren’t preventing last month but we are properly trying this month and I’ve been using OPK’s. My AF is due between the 1st and 3rd of April. Fingers crossed!

@MiniBaker my first cycle was without opks and then I used them last month with the flo app. I thought this was our month actually so was disappointed to see AF.

To be honest, the longer it goes on, the harder it's going to be for me. When my OH was a teenager, he dated a girl and they DTD and ended up expecting a baby which they later lost. It was one time but I can't help feeling if getting pregnant takes a while or doesn't happen for us, it's obviously me that has an issue and I'm trying to not think of that but it's always in the back of my mind. I haven't told him how I feel cos it wouldn't be fair on him when it was so long ago and don't want to dredge up bad memories. I'm feeling hoping we get a bfp soon 🙏

I recommend the Sperm Meets Egg plan book. It’s given me hope at least!

Hey everyone! Last month I used one step opk test but this month they don't seem to be giving me a second line at all so I have been using the easy home ones instead, last month I got a gradual rise then got my peak on day 17 of my cycle, I'm on cycle day 13 today and my LH is all over the place, is this normal? Here is a picture of my test x

I’m on day 12. I have gas and fatigue ha ha my usual..lovely!! pmt dtd on all right days so was hopeful this month but not hopeful now !! Just so used to the AF turning up :(

I'm feeling a little disheartened today. I had a positive OPK on the 18th of March, which was cycle day 14, my partner and I DTD but we didn't last night as he was so tired from work and I can feel my usual ovulation pain today (cycle day 16) I know sperm can live for up to 5 days but I feel like we should have DTD for the best chance and I assume it's too late once you feel ovulation pain? Does anyone know?
