Hi Everyone, I’m currently in the dreaded TWW again... this month I had really sensitive/ sore nipples around ovulation and a couple days after but now they’ve just gone back to hibernation as usual... has anyone had this before? Was hoping if they stayed sore it might be a sign of an incoming BFP but now they’ve gone back to normal thinking it’s probably a BFN coming again... April will be 11 months TTC for me ... struggling 😫

MisssSarahhh · 16/03/2021 20:14

Hey everyone! I’m new here, TTC #1 I’ve made a post and would live some advice on my situation 🙂

SF543 · 16/03/2021 20:26

Awww @Confused678866 I'm so sad for you☹️ this happened to me last month, been having 35 day cycles from I came off the pill in October and last month my AF came a week early giving me a 28 day cycle. It makes it so much harder to gauge OV etc for my fertile days so I completely understand how you feel. I really hope next month is your month xx

SF543 · 16/03/2021 20:38

@MisssSarahhh post it here and we will help:)

MisssSarahhh · 16/03/2021 20:43

@SF543 (Sorry if this is too long!) So I have pcos so periods have always been irregular but I did have them just every one every few months or so instead of every month religiously. No other pcos symptoms and periods were always light and short when I did have them. Been taking the mini pill cerelle for almost 2 years but a stopped taking last Monday (8th March) to start trying to conceive 🙂

So DTD Sunday the 7th with a condom but was out of date 🤦🏻‍♀️ But took my last pill that evening.

Then DTD first time completely unprotected on Wednesday the 10th and Saturday the 13th.

Across Monday and Tuesday this week 15th/16th I’ve had slight cramping in lower pelvis and back. And today Tuesday 15th I’ve been exhausted.

Just wondering I know it’s so early but are these symptoms just coming off the pill symptoms? I feel they are too early for the first lots of unprotected sex from the Wednesday and Saturday as not even been a week. But because I don’t know when I ovulated could I possibly ovulated that Wednesday and implanted now and that’s the cramps? Can you ovulate only a few days after stopping the mini pill? Or is there even a chance these symptoms are very early signs of pregnancy from the out of date condom day? Is it possible even with pcos I could be very fertile right now since I’ve heard you can be most fertile when stopping the pill?

Sorry I know I have so many questions but I’m so new to this and very excited and hopeful so any advice or similar experiences would be handy! 😄 Look forward to chatting with you all!

Mrsmujic · 16/03/2021 20:44

Hi girls,

Just after some advice, I ovulated at the weekend. Had sore nipples yesterday and today (sorry this is way tmi but I thought you might have similar experiences) I've had a creamy light yellow cm? I've never had this before?! I've no pain, no smell etc but this is so bizzare? Has anyone else ever had this soon after ovulation? Xx

Court2611 · 16/03/2021 20:48

Hi all, nearly at the end of the TWW for me, AF due Thursday if it’s on time this month👀 I’ve done a couple of early tests but wish I hadn’t, drives you crazy doesn’t it! Tying to hold off now until I know. The only symptoms I’ve had is cramping every day for well over a week now which is unusual for me as I only usually get menstrual cramps the day before😕 trying not to get my hopes up!
I’ve seen lots of people post about implantation bleeding - I didn’t even know this was a thing before TTC!! Does everyone experience this?? trying not to get too held up on the fact I’ve not had that☹️ Xx

Confused678866 · 16/03/2021 20:53

@SF543 Thanks for replying. It really messes with your head doesn't it? I'm just more worried now that something wrong to be honest with 3 out of 4 cycles being either 22 or 23 days.. I don't think that gives me much hope in conceiving because of my Luteal phase being so short. 😞 xx

Confused678866 · 16/03/2021 20:54

@Court2611 Not everyone experiences implantation bleeding so don't get hung up on that. I did with my first baby but I didn't know that's what it was, I just thought it was a light period as I fell pregnant in the first month after coming off the pill.. turned out to be implantation bleeding. I think they say either 25 or 30% of women get it so don't count yourself out because of that. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 xx

Confused678866 · 16/03/2021 20:55

@DreadedTWW Thank you ☺️ xx

Court2611 · 16/03/2021 21:06

@Confused678866 ohh that’s made me feel better haha you get so hung up and over think the smallest things!! Drive myself mad haha. Sorry AF has made an appearance for you - sending positive vibes for the next one✨ Xx

Confused678866 · 16/03/2021 21:15

@Court2611 Good luck! Thank you, pretty gutted and currently trying to work out whether I should start taking some vitamins to help lengthen my cycle but my brain is currently fried 🤯 so I haven't really got w clue what I'm doing 😂 xx

SF543 · 16/03/2021 22:04

@MisssSarahhh okay! First off, no this isn't too long - I love lots of detail:). To be honest, if you DTD 10th and have cramping now it's very very unlikely you are experience implantation, as the earliest this can start is 6DPO - although it is possible! Keep an eye on cramps, symptoms etc and maybe note them down so you can keep track. I'd keep an eye on symptoms especially from Thurs as that's when implantation is likely for you!

This is if you have ovulated of course, it is very possible to ovulate straight after coming off the pill however it can be tricky to catch as it's normally the day or so after coming off.. so if you DTD 7th stopped contraception 8th.. the sperm could have survived and implanted when you began OV (assuming this was around the 8th/9th).

Keep an eye out, the only way you will have any confirmation is with a BFP but I'd say your still very early yet. Keep trying lovely xxx

SF543 · 16/03/2021 22:05

@Mrsmujic too early for actual pregnancy symptoms, although the experiences your having may be due to ovulation:) xx

SF543 · 16/03/2021 22:06

@Court2611 not everyone experiences implantation bleeding OR cramping! The cramping you experience may be AF or maybe implantation you could be experiencing late on in your cycle. Hold off till thurs and test then xx

SF543 · 16/03/2021 22:08

@Confused678866 I believe the length of your luteal phase does not detirmine your fertility or chances TTC my love! Your body will change so much especially after being on the pill, so for now I would maybe give it another 2 or so months and if your still the same maybe a checkup would make you feel better? There is nothing worse than not knowing what's going on in your body especially when TTC, but keep positive! Xx

Confused678866 · 16/03/2021 22:14

@SF543 Thank you.. I've read lots of things (legit websites) about shorter Luteal phases (less than 10 days) can make it harder to conceive as there isn't enough time for implantation to occur etc. I think I'd just like to maybe change a few things (maybe diet & vitamins) to see if it will help lengthen my cycle by a couple of days. I've had enough for one day though 🤯 xx

Court2611 · 16/03/2021 22:35

@Confused678866 Thankyou! Yeah I don’t have much experience with shorter cycles I wish I had some advice for you! Keep us updated✨

@SF543 Thankyou for the reassurance, I think I just had a moment of over thinking as you do haha!! Xx

Mrsmujic · 16/03/2021 22:41

@SF543 yeah, I'm not trying to early symptom spot as its way too soon for that. I just wondered if anyone else gets this as it's completely new to me and I've no idea the cause of it or what it means. . 🙈 X

SF543 · 16/03/2021 23:07

@Confused678866 yeah, it's all about researching and finding out what you can. But honestly still don't lose hope, go to sleep and wake up tomorrow with a fresh mind ready for your next cycle:) I'll be here the whole way through x

SF543 · 16/03/2021 23:08

@Mrsmujic I would get cramps with my ovulation but that's really the only symptom I would get! I do know a lot of other people do get sore breasts etc, so yes you aren't alone my lovely x

SF543 · 16/03/2021 23:09

@Court2611 yeah definitely! We all do it, it's just natural lol but I'm glad you feel reassured:) xx

Cuddles21 · 17/03/2021 00:11

@Confused678866 sorry to hear you're having a tough day 😔 Its not easy seeing AF the longer the months go on but keep the faith as hopefully baby 2 is just waiting to happen for you in the coming months ❤

@MisssSarahhh I came off Yasminelle in January after 10 years and my body was like wtf 😆 I have sore boobs for nearly the entire time and pain in left side around ovulation etc. Definitely was a roller coaster of a month as hormones seemed to remember what they used to do before I was on the pill! The last cycle (AF arrived today) was much more textbook.

Confused678866 · 17/03/2021 07:22

@Court2611 Thank you, I will keep you updated xx

@SF543 Yeah I think I'm just going to call the doctors today and see if I can get an appointment for some advice mainly and see if there's anything I can do. I won't lie, it's messing with my head a lot as I feel like I've read too many negative stories/facts about women with short cycle.
Thank you, I appreciate that xx

@Cuddles21 Yeah it's rubbish, especially now I'm having such short cycles so that's thrown a problem into the mix. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of it 🤞🏻 xx

TeeBee89 · 17/03/2021 07:56

@Confused678866 sorry to hear your AF arrived, sending you baby dust for next month and I hope you get some answers as to why your cycles are short 🤞🏼
