Last time we actually got reported straight away, for being too fun for MN...was it a week ago?? Maybe 😋😝but they can’t hold us back as the Harry Potter speed bus flies...

We’ve worked out a fleshlight for horses on a MN bus is NOT WELCOME, but how do I know what you have in your suitcase? I’m just the driver, a passenger’s belongings is their own responsibility, and my bags have LOADS of OPKs, loads of pills, fruit, veg, wine, gin & trainers for my workouts.

We aren’t just challenging ourselves to get pregnant & trying to help each other do so, we are also trying to help each other get fitter and sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...

To those that's asked, there were like 3 burnt rings from the end of the hairdryer that I thought (Cos I'm a shit mum who didn't realise a quiet child is ACTUALLY A SUSPICIOUS ONE) was happily burning the carpet so I have basically shaved the burnt bits off with DH's clippers and my small razor so the dark burnt 'clumped' bits are gone and then "combed" the rest in so it's not noticeable now unless you were up close so if we were to sell the house you can't see it 😉

Off to get vaccine at 12.30 I'm super worn out from the long drive yesterday didn't manage a workout yesterday as I flaked out really early .

Hoping vaccine allows me to do one today! I know some people feel rough afterwards.

Woke up to a lovely email from my hoss that was sent at 11pm last night entailing we must go back into work for every rota'd shift from next week on to clean .... we can't open until the 17th may so why on earth were cleaning 10 weeks in advance I don't know. Not looking forward to it at all.

@lucyrp nooooo sorry to hear that hun that sucks does seem odd they're getting you back that soon!

So DH's hair hasn't been cut since before Xmas and it is looking, bless him, very unkempt. I am going to cut it for him at the weekend, wish me luck.... Lol!

@Kirky658 she's working towards the date 1st April as that's when he mentioned hospitality could re open but since then he's said they're jot going to be included in the next 2 announcements so we won't know about when we can open until the 23rd April at the soonest 🤷🏼‍♀️

@lucyrp what a nightmare! We are sooooo busy amending holidays again now to travel up to 16th May. It is proving to be a very difficult week! We are all just hoping and praying for good news come 12th April when the international travel review results are in.

@Kirky658 she doesn't have a clue what she's on about half the time .. makes it much more difficult. I was going to book a holiday for the middle of June for us to go on but they've all sold out now since the announcement☹️

I'm so upset...so I had my static smiley yesterday, had the pain Saturday to last night but felt a lot better today. Just had my scan with my consultant to check on my cyst situation and great news, they're all gone. So I asked if the pain was ovulation but I haven't ovulated or due to apparently 😭 I'm so deflated. I really thought I had ovulated. Can the scan be wrong? Could he miss a corpus luteum? He wants me to try one more cycle next month on Clomid before I start my IVF. Apparently I can move straight from Clomid to IVF fine but I'm chancing again over responding to the Clomid but if I do it, he wants me to go back up there for a scan on CD12. He's not even wanting a lower dose either, back on 100mg.

@lucyrp that's soooooo stupid! What a waste of everyone's time?!

@Crazydoglady123 hmmmm, have you tried Letrozole? Good about the ivf though.

@Justanothercyster yep I did 3 cycles on it previous to Clomid but my 21 day bloods on the last cycle of it showed I hadn't ovulated

@Minster2012 @Vil10 they were really good and I was holding out but was feeling rather sicky this morning (poor dd was almost thrown off my knee when I was putting her tights on to run for the bathroom 🤮) and they were literally the only thing I fancied 🙈 lunch was a big carby bagel! I'm failing at being healthy today 😂

@Minster2012 I'm going to attempt the carpet thing with the rug, lovely big singed bit in front of the fire 🙄

@lucyrp that sucks! Why on earth would cleaning need to start 10 weeks in advance?!

@Kirky658 I've had to tell my work as I'll have so many appointments, I've had 4 already with another two in the coming weeks. Thankfully oh just shaves his hair, even better he actually suits it 🙌🏻 I wouldn't be brave enough to attempt cutting it! Although I gave dd a cracking wee Bob in lockdown 1, she looked so freaking cute!!

@Crazydoglady123 good news in the cysts and not having to wait between clinics and ivf, not so good on the not ovulating when you had all the symptoms and the opks. Look after yourself 💐

So, yoga slurp. Basically, load some pre seed of whatever lube you're into, DTD, afterwards, put your feet together and pull as close as you can (think "reclined goddess pose"). Then do a very fast stomach crunch, which should suck in some air and you'll hear a quick slurp. Then release slowly so you don't spit it out 🤣 repeat. If you can do one, sarvangasana (look it up) afterwards (that's all I can manage do while OH is having post-coital shower)

Basically, you're helping the swimmers get in. Most likely to be a coincidence, but 4/4 times me gave some lines (one of them being DD). Basically, an advanced version of legs up 🤣

@Minster2012 yeah I need to trust the scan. I messaged the lady at the private clinic for scans I use and spoke to her and she said it's super weird but there's no way he could have missed a follicle/corpus luteum so looks like I'm out this month already. The Clomid is on the NHS and sat in my bedside drawer from my first prescription. She was shocked he was putting me back on it at 100mg again after last time but she said as long as he's scanning me then go for it. I just double checked with my IVF clinic to confirm they will let me go straight from Clomid onto IVF treatment and that's fine so may as well give it another shot!

@Vil10 none of us are very happy about it 🤣

@Justanothercyster I know right we're just going to end up doing it again in a couple of weeks when we actually can open. I'm so not ready for this I thought I had a few more weeks at home 😅

@Crazydoglady123 I'm so sorry it shows you haven't ovulated but I guess it's food to know for sure and have a plan and least you know you can go ahead straight after 🤞🏻if the clomid isn't successful. Is 100mg a lot?

@Crazydoglady123 oh no. That's crap. I guess the tests only measure LH. Nothing more. So the scan must be right. But how frustrating.
@lucyrp 10 weeks of cleaning? Surely not!

@Minster2012 yeah I guess. Just feel meh as I really thought I'd ovulated and a miracle was going to happen 😐 The starting dose is usually 50mg. Bling Empire is the series. It's really good

@paintfairy that could have been very awkward 😂 I was using the Clear Blue Connected ones which measure estrogen and LH

And yeah but it's still only measuring signals to ovulate. Not the actual ovulation. So for some reason I guess your body isn't listening? Have they done a day 2 test? If everything is normal its weird you aren't. But then- fuck knows what my body is doing ever, it's no precise science! Nothing makes any sense. Often I think they don't really know why. It just is what it is.

Just had a big catch up and thank you so much for all the words of encouragement ladies, couldn't ask for a more supportive bunch! 🥰 DH and I had a big chat last night, we know IVF is still an option open to us in the future but have decided not to go for it, we're saving for a bigger house at the moment and if sucess was 100% guaranteed then we'd go down the IVF route but as its not guaranteed we just felt we couldn't justify the money nor emotional turmoil for us right now. However we have decided to go down the adoption route 😁 its an idea we have toyed with in the past so it's not a knee jerk reaction. And it won't be happening soon, we're looking at more 3 years down the line once we're in a bigger house and DS is a bit older and can understand it and is settled in school so there's not too many big changes in his life at once. But I must say I feel amazing today like such a big weight has been lifted, I didnt appreciate just how much the turmoil of the ttc journey was weighing me down. So here we are 18 months down the line, 5 early losses.......but now so much hope on the horizon 😁 So hope I can still stay sitting on the roof of the bus even tho our happy ending is a few years away but I'm so invested in all your stories I want to still be here to celebrate when you get your bfps!

@Katao @Crazydoglady123 I feel your pain on your uncertainty after a long journey as mentioned above I always knew the ttc journey was getting me down but didn't realise just how much until we made our decision last night and it felt like such a weight was lifted. Sending so many hugs of support to you both. 💐

@dollybird89 you've been my inspiration for getting back into exercise with your videos. Hopefully the clinic won't be too much of a punch in the gut for you if you go prepared with the knowledge that they may just hammer on about your weight without exploring other options. Just keep in your head the amazing progress you're already doing towards your goals.

@MartyMcShy I felt the same way that while my head was consumed with ttc over so long that I was sometimes not appreciating the time I had with DS as much and had to make a conscious effort to be more present with him. Its hard isn't it.

Fellow shortie here too @gensola which is so unfair as hubby is very tall so can eat like a horse and it doesn't effect him, whereas being a shortie is definitely not forgiving if you put on weight!

@Minster2012 a quiet child is ALWAYS up to something 😂 Tho after yesterday's antics and today's I think you best double that fire extinguisher order, you're going to need it with your little fire starter!

@crazydoglady123 good news on the cyst front. Tho very strange about the ovulation side of things (or lack of), especially if you felt the pain and had a static very bizarre. You never know tho, medics aren't always correct there's still a small chance you did ovulate. Good that there's a plan in place for you tho moving forward. 🤞
