Supporting ‘small changes’ into spring whilst TTC...🌱🌼🌸🍀- Fun Bus 34

Last time we actually got reported straight away, for being too fun for MN...was it a week ago?? Maybe 😋😝but they can’t hold us back as the Harry Potter speed bus flies...

We’ve worked out a fleshlight for horses on a MN bus is NOT WELCOME, but how do I know what you have in your suitcase? I’m just the driver, a passenger’s belongings is their own responsibility, and my bags have LOADS of OPKs, loads of pills, fruit, veg, wine, gin & trainers for my workouts.

We aren’t just challenging ourselves to get pregnant & trying to help each other do so, we are also trying to help each other get fitter and sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...

Have a look at the small changes beside the names and see if you want to try them yourself or add in your own!

We are in this together 🥰♥️🙌🏻💪🏻
Spring is coming, and so are we 😘🦄🍀🌸🌷🌻🌼

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@blackcurrantqueen it is very frustrating when you are constantly jumping through hoops and reliant on the nhs being useful.

DKDK123 · 02/03/2021 13:24

Just having a super quick catch up while on my lunch break.

I'm paranoid the fertility clinic are watching this thread as after my rant about them just telling me to lose weight I got a random call today saying they now want to do a HSG 🤷‍♀️ tho I still have to lose a stone before they'll do it so I've to call back when I've lost the stone. It did mean I got a chance to ask about the bleeding yesterday but she said it's probably just one of those wonky cycles. Yesterday was like full flow AF bright red, clots heavy and now today its just a bit of spotting when I wipe, my cycles were a bit wonky since the latest CP in Jan so I've decided my womb just wanted a bit of a spring clean yesterday 😂

@Florence13 fantastic on passing your masters, all your hard work paid off, definitely something to be proud of 🥳

@Justanothercyster hooray for the digi, not that you had squinters but the digi always gives extra reassurance 😁

Well done on the self care day @Skip86. Make sure you schedule in more of them over the next few months to keep yourself strong and looking after you.

Gutted for you @blackcurrantqueen Now is the time to do your foot stamping and swear at the world then go indulge in a little self care yourself as you deserve it.

2alreadywantanother · 02/03/2021 15:22

@justanothercyster lookup the epu in your area see what it says. Here we can just ring and get an appointment. Seen enough of that place over my pregnancies. Never want to see that place again. But its certainly a reassurance to have it there.

@Franklydear certainly fought it. Not quite the same but I moved my kids schools 2 yrs ago. The min I mentioned t1 diabetes I heard her tone change and the "principle " was to call me back. 20 mins later the secretary rings saying theres no space. After stewing I was raging, my daughter got into the girls next door, I rang back and asked because of his "extra needs" and how do I go about speaking to the the board of education regarding it. She said she'll speak to the principal and low and behold 10mins later they had a place lol so u fight it hun.

The knees fine thanks everyone. Got out for my walk today lol soniy didn't stop me

Hopeful110 · 02/03/2021 15:49

@Franklydear definitely fight it!! I agree with @2alreadywantanother 😊

@Skip86 good to see you looking after yourself and treating yourself! I always feel a million dollars when I have my nails done in the salon so good on you! 🥰

The GP rang to discuss my ultrasound, all is good...other than my left ovary being 'swamped' in cysts but I expected that tbh. Part and parcel of pcos! Although she said my blood tests are OK but my red blood cell count was quite high so she wants the bloods re done in 4 weeks (31st march) ...which I'm not complaining about...as if I actually ovulate on 20th they might be able to pick up hcg before I poas on 4th april if we are successful and everything goes to 'plan' lol

Minster2012 · 02/03/2021 15:52

Quick catch up from me, manic here today, I think a child might kill a dog or a dog might kill a child because a child keeps running around with dog food in its hand teasing poor dogs

(They won't kill him btw, him I don't know)

@blackcurrantqueen you know I send the biggest hugs your way lovely

@Florence13 literally can't believe AF is still taking a holiday from you. Not fair. More wine please

@Franklydear do you need me to write a letter of recommendation? I've got to do one for my bro & SIL to be able to say their relationship is legit so they can try go to get home country of Canada & leave us, I said I don't know if I feel comfortable lying & saying she actually likes him??? But for you I will say whatever you want!

@2020mission did you manage to enjoy the weather? don't forget to call the gp lovely!

@2alreadywantanother does that mean no excuse for shirking exercise?

@DKDK123 womb spring clean! How would that go down as a new bus title? Where womb spring cleaning is not allowed?

@Justanothercyster can't believe a digi already said 2/3 weeks I'm honestly so over the moon for you it's unreal!

@Hopeful110 so that’s good news then right! Awesome! And all systems go for March!

@minster2012 I really need to proof read b4 posting lol

larrythelizard · 02/03/2021 16:21

Slightly off topic question (I know there's a lot of big stuff around but...)

Do they not get legally married on MAFS then?? I'm just watching the last dinner party...

Minster2012 · 02/03/2021 16:27

@2alreadywantanother takes away part of the fun surely!

@larrythelizard I always thought they did but maybe not? Why what was said I miss some of it

OP posts:
paintfairy · 02/03/2021 16:32

@larrythelizard in the UK yes. But in Aus its apparently against the law to marry a stranger. So they can't.

Justanothercyster · 02/03/2021 16:39

@DKDK123 thanks lovely. A lovely spring clean ready for a new rainbow bean x

@2alreadywantanother thank you. I really hope you don't have to see it again x

@Hopeful110 I'm glad you have a plan! Sorry about the cysts, I feel your pain with that 😒 but plan is good!

@Minster2012 thank you! I'm praying it's a good sign, just want to register with the mat team already but have to wait until the 14th as that's 6 weeks. Hope child and dog are both intact!

Minster2012 · 02/03/2021 16:49

@paintfairy @larrythelizard against the law to marry a stranger 🤣😂

Florence13 · 02/03/2021 16:49

@Justanothercyster oh my goodness!! Just caught up and you actually made me cry happy tears!! So chuffed for you.

@blackcurrantqueen I’m sorry and sending virtual hugs.

@Sausage1990 I am unsure exactly but it’s been almost 8 weeks now since my early miscarriage.

@Minster2012 where are you upto lovely lady? I just knew you were due a miracle great to see your levels have increased!! Just know you are going to get the gorgeous baby you deserve.

Thank you so much to everyone for the lovely comments on passing my masters have to admit it feels like a pretty good achievement. Not really got any celebratory plans but may treat myself to a glass of wine.

Justanothercyster · 02/03/2021 17:01

@Florence13 thank you! And congrats on your masters 🥂 think I missed that before!

Franklydear · 02/03/2021 17:07

@Minster2012 I love you to write a letter of recommendation, but I am a bit lost at what you've been recommending....
@blackcurrantqueen oh no, shit, really shit

InkyPaper · 02/03/2021 17:31

@Florence13 congratulations on passing your masters! That's awesome!

@Skip86 seven hours?! Sounds like you had a good day though, you deserved some pampering

@bez91 tbh I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for but I checked and then googled what I felt 😂🙈

Aww I'm so sorry @blackcurrantqueen big hugs for you ❤️

larrythelizard · 02/03/2021 17:35

@Florence13 congratulations, that's a serious achievement!

Thanks @paintfairy maybe why they can have such loons on it!!

2020mission · 02/03/2021 18:23

@Minster2012 just waiting until AF is full flow first - I’m on day 4 of spotting 🙄 will definitely call this week when it starts though! I’ll likely be in a bad mood on CD 1 so it’s definitely the day to call as I’ll likely be more pushy if they try to delay an appointment 😆 I enjoyed as much of the sun as I could yesterday on my lunch hour but had to stay in to work the rest of the day unfortunately. Hope you got more decent weather up north after Monday?

Sorry I haven’t had a chance to follow much here over the weekend, will catch up soon.

paintfairy · 02/03/2021 18:37

@2020mission I honestly think that they are less busy now than ever. I think once lockdown ends everyone will go and it'll be madness! People are putting things off at the moment.

bez91 · 02/03/2021 18:47

Gutted for you @blackcurrantqueen ☹️ so sorry, treat yourself this evening 💕 I hope you're being well looked after?

@DKDK123 yeah must have been a womb spring clean - I like it 😂 think it should be substituted for AF too, sounds more elegant.

@Minster2012 hope both child and dogs are in tact and your day has become less manic!

Small win for me today, I managed my first proper run since before my first MC back in summer. I feel pathetically accomplished 😂 more so a win that it’s given me some good headspace too whilst I’m waiting on AF 😊

larrythelizard · 02/03/2021 18:53

Well done @bez91 the first one is always the hardest! I haven't run since Jan and now I'm weirdly scared to!!

blackcurrantqueen · 02/03/2021 18:55

Just started bleeding as predicted so drowning my sorrows with some cold wine !!

Hope you're all doing ok, can't tell you how much all the well wishes have meant!

The acupuncture was good today and I'd actually really recommend it to anybody that is in a similar situation!
Xxx

Kirky658 · 02/03/2021 19:39

@bez91 nice one hun! Well done. It is no easy feat starting again with running. I'm dreading when I'll have to give it up, hoping to keep going through 2nd trimester 🤞

@blackcurrantqueen I'm so sorry lovely. I'm glad you're treating yourself with a glass of wine. Xx

Minster2012 · 02/03/2021 19:43

@Franklydear I am recommend a change of DS school
And you for a medal

@2020mission 4 days of spotting how annoying! Mine is totally less busy here, I've used them 4 times during lockdown & each time I've either been phoned or seen that day or the day after. Still cold and foggy here today but we wrapped up warm 🔥fire on now

@bez91 you go girl! The first is the worst (exercise I mean, I don't run!) @larrythelizard you can do it!

@blackcurrantqueen 🥂clinking the cold wine, I've got chocolate too, do you have chocolate as well?? If not I think you should 😘

OP posts:
paintfairy · 02/03/2021 19:56

@blackcurrantqueen sorry about AF 😔
@Minster2012 and I get 4 days of spotting too (sometimes more). Its annoying! @2020mission which is why they are trying the progesterone with me.

Katao · 02/03/2021 19:57

@blackcurrantqueen I'm so sorry just because you saw ot coming doesn't make it any less shitty. Big hugs to you girl and hope your wine is soothing x
