@SLCxxx @NatJ24 thanks both! Will keep you updated x

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 10:19

@Strawberry08 I can see a line in the second image. Fingers crossed for you.

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 10:19

@Ra1nb0w85 No I haven't heard of her, what's coq10?

ELMcg · 08/02/2021 10:33

@NatJ24 guess we really are in the same boat! I'm regretting moving to testing twice a day when I got the flashing smiley as I now only have 2 sticks left so keeping them for today and tomorrow in the hope I get a static! Do you have many left?

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 10:36

I think I'm going to test Thursday morning with a cheap early strip. But with me I think missing my peak test. I'm a bit unsure of my exact dpo. But it'll be good to know it's a bfn and I can get thinking of the next cycle.

Florence15 · 08/02/2021 10:59

Does anyone else do a pregnancy test and just stare at it hoping to see a line that just isn’t there 🤦‍♀️🥺. I’m soooooo sick of it now !!

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 11:15

@Florence15 Yep!! Every month. I keep just praying for a positive, as if I want it bad enough it might happen... it sucks.

Florence15 · 08/02/2021 11:31

@Pancakes7 sooo frustrating and disheartening. Another month wasted and back to square one 🤷‍♀️

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 11:56

@Florence15 Have you just had a negative? Where are you in your cycle? Sorry if you've said already.

Florence15 · 08/02/2021 11:59

@Pancakes7 I’m on CD24 but if I’m honest I’m not sure when I Ovulated this month. I never really got a positive (close one on day 15 ) I’ve had zero cm this month so I had a feeling it wasn’t good. I’ve never used clearblue tests and considering trying next month. Do you use them and if so which do you recommend? The normal digital or advanced? Xx what CD are you on?

Ra1nb0w85 · 08/02/2021 12:00

@Pancakes7 coq10 is apparently good for fertility and meant to improve egg quality. I've been ttc for 2 years in April and so far all tests are normal so starting to question what nutrients I take. I've always taken pregnacare but think I might start taking this too and just wondered if others have anything to say about it.
Apparently a lot of people who have followed Luisa Zissman's advice have got pregnant and I can't see any negatives for taking it X

Morning ladies. Can I jump on the thread...I had med management for MMC at 9 weeks on 4th Jan, first pregnancy. Currently on CD7 after first AF and planning to get back to TTC this cycle. Finding this week very long already! I forgot the joy of counting down days when TTC 🤪 I should be busy at work but instead I'm searching for positive vibes on MN! Lots of luck to everyone on thread Flowers x

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 12:09

@Florence15 So will you test soon? Or you waiting for AF? I've used clear blue digital and normal. I haven't ever had a positive on a clear blue normal I don't think. I have got positives on cheaper tests. I then always get a clear blue digital to check how many weeks I am. I have a pack of digital weeks ones ready for whenever I do get a BFP. I'll be using early cheap test strips to save money. But overall I prefer clear blue to first response. Not really sure why. It's just what I've always used. I use a clear blue fertility monitor too.

NatJ24 · 08/02/2021 12:20

@ELMcg I have just got my static smiley! I wouldn't usually do another one at this time after a morning one, so not quite sure what made me.
I have got some lower back pain so I was thinking this could be it and something made me do another one and it's came back static!
Keep testing with what you have left 🤞🙏

ELMcg · 08/02/2021 12:25

@NatJ24 aww that's so good! I will keep testing but I have a feeling I have already ovulated! I don't get obvious symptoms ever really but have had twinges and Ewcm a few days ago so I think it maybe happened over the weekend? You better get DTD now! Fingers crossed! 🤞

NatJ24 · 08/02/2021 12:34

@ELMcg well, going off the 2 times the static smiley has appeared for me its been on the second test of the day, after a flashing morning one. So it just shows how it could potentially be missed! So I think you could have easily missed it, so its good you just DTD over the weekend anyway!
The EWCM is a definite sign too if you had noticeable amounts. I always seem to get that a couple of days before and I noticed that for me on Friday!

bez91 · 08/02/2021 13:20

Yayyy @NatJ24 just a quick/daft question for you and @ELMcg who are testing twice with the Clearblue digital... I use the same OPKs but generally only test once a day. I'm not sure there is much use in me testing twice anyway as DH is out the house at 5am weekdays so evenings are the only opportunity 🙈 but when you do test twice a day, do you generally leave it until the afternoon and how long do you hold your wee?

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 13:21

@Ra1nb0w85 Thanks. I'll give it a read. I worry about vitamins etc from online. I think I've found it on Boots but it's just vitamin E, zinc & vitamin B1&2. I might look into it more next cycle.

I've just bought pomegranate juice as I've heard this is good for fertility.

Florence15 · 08/02/2021 13:40

Has anyone had a progesterone test recently? I had one on day 19 this month as I usually have a 26 day cycle and it’s come back normal at 31. (Anything over 30 indicates ovulation) do you think they may indicate I ovulated late? X

Mamat90 · 08/02/2021 14:39

@Strawberry08 definately a faint line! So early too so it's looking super positive for you! I've got everything crossed for you!

I wanted to ask your ladies advice on how long it took to get a negative pregnancy test after medical management?

It's been two weeks and I still have a positive test, it's definitely faded from when we were pregnant but I'm hoping to start TTC ASAP and it feels like the negative is never going to come! Am I just being impatient?

Also petrified that maybe it didn't fully work as I know that some people still have some pregnancy matter left after medical management and I just don't want to go back into hospital and have an MVA 😩

NatJ24 · 08/02/2021 14:55

@Mamat90 hi! So I had medical management in December and I was still getting a very very faint postive still at nearly 5 weeks later and then my AF arrived. I was worried that the positive would stop me getting my AF, and couldn't find a definite answer to it online. But in my experience, my AF came along 5 weeks after medical management even with a very faint postive and after that I did another test just to check and it was negative. I was exactly like you and panicking about retained products but I think as long as you're not still bleeding it can be that it is picking up the slightest pregnancy hormone as it takes some time to drop back down. Hope you're ok 🤗

ELMcg · 08/02/2021 14:58

@bez91 I am probably the wrong person to ask as it's not going well for me 😂 but I have been testing first thing in the morning and around 8pm at night but going to do an afternoon one today. I am also useless at holding in my wee!

NatJ24 · 08/02/2021 15:01

@bez91 I usually test with the CB in the morning and then once I get the flashing face I will start to test the morning and then early evening and just hold off going for a wee for a good couple of hours before hand. Today I ended up doing one at 8:00am and then another at 12pm, just because I had a feeling it would be static smiley. I think once a day is fine it was just because personally for me I had got the static on my second test of the day last time and had read the same happen to others so didn't want to miss it

Pancakes7 · 08/02/2021 15:17

@Ra1nb0w85 @ttcrainbowbaby1 or anyone really. Do you count dpo from the first peak day or from the day afterwards? My fertility monitor gives 2 peak days so I counted the day after those peak days so peak Saturday, ovulate Monday. Does that sound right?

Ra1nb0w85 · 08/02/2021 15:27

Yep that's how I count it. They say you can ovulate up to 48 hours after a static so I give it 48 hours and then start counting dpo X
