My chart app has gone a little wild and seems to think my period will start tomorrow instead of monday.
We shall see, Ive not had my usual pre period temp dip or my 3 days of rage. It was a really early start this morning but temp is still up. Also looks like i misscounted and im on 9dpo no 8

@AMS19 yeah I think it's indent tbh and I just have imaginary line eyes 😂. Not feeling hopefully anymore and in a stupid amount of pain with this bloody cyst it better be gone before my next cycle 😂

I am off the pill since end of Aug/start of Sept.... on Cycle 5 and BEYOND impatient! 😈 I didn’t think it would take me this long!

@jessi60 oh wow really! Everyone I know fell straight away first month.. and one friend 5 months but she was super stressing about it! I think I'll be one of the crazy ones.

@PowerOfFlowers Ooh I do the Courtney Black ones sometimes too when I want a real cardio blast! And I loveee RWL, I always liked Lucy Meck anyway and love how motivating Cecilia is. They did all the free lives over lockdown too which was great. I would defo do the pre and post natal workouts on there too when the time comes.
Did you track your RHR when you were ttc? There's supposed to be something in it but I can't see a pattern right now.

@Panda368 Are your cycles always so short then? Strange how it's changed!

@Dex1521 At least birthday drinks will be a nice consolation. Bless your mum! My MIL has been desperate and dropping hints for about 10 years now 🤣 I'm kinda glad we're in lockdown so I don't have to awkwardly brush those off now that we've actually made the ttc decision

@Emmgrem they are usually 28-29 days sometimes 26 but not often. I think my app is on crack this month.

@DrS44 its the kindara app and as you can see im shit at tracking mucous have been using it forever

@DrS44 I resisted testing! Yep! Resisted POAS!! Im gonna try hold out until Friday and test then. Then if its not got any lighter ask the gp for blood tests to see what it's looking like. If it's still positive end of next week I'll have to go back for a scan!

If my AF shows this month I was just wondering if there is anything else I could do to increase my chances for both me and the OH. Currently I'm taking seven seas ttc vitamin, using OPKs and BBT and OH is taking wellman original multi vitamin which says it supports fertility. I've cut down caffeine to a cup of coffee in the morning and a cup of tea in the afternoon.

I'm also still losing weight slowly on slimmingworld I feel like it could be my weight stopping me from getting pg. I'm overweight but not obese but definitely could be a lot better

@Dex1521 how old are you? I'm taking ubiquinol which improves egg quality but I'm 33 so older! Otherwise just generally improved fertility diet - which is a medderterranean diet essentially!

@AMS19 I'm 23 so I always thought age was on my side but my partner is older he's 40. We're weren't going to start trying until after we got married (meant to be October 2020) but it's been pushed to 2022 because he is a bit older we thought we should start now. I do love Mediterranean food so I might start eating a lot more of it, like I eat vegetables as if they're going out of fashion as I love them 😂

@Dex1521 I think you're doing most of the right things by the sounds of it.
I read that SOS are key fertility foods- spinach, olive oil and salmon! If you like any of those and can add more to your diet.
In general omega 3 - so I take DHA, and also coq10 to improve egg health.

And I think you asked about pre seed or conceive plus lube before. I also might try that if things don't work out this month.

@Emmgrem yeah I love spinach and salmon. I had salmon for tea last night 😂 I tend to use fry light but could maybe add olive oil into my diet in moderation. Yeah I'm in two minds about the conceive plus. I suppose if I don't like it I don't have to buy it again so no harm in trying it.

@Dex1521 okay you definitely don't need DHA or Ubiquinol/CoQ10 then. So definitely medderterranean diet for you and your husband. He also could take folate and should definitely be having zinc too. Then make sure he is only drinking in moderation and no hot baths. Otherwise keep doing everything your doing! Just pure luck. Trust me, you would rather your body wait for the right egg than implant the wrong end and end up with a miscarriage 🙋‍♀️

@AMS19 yeah I think that's the way forward. I think his wellman vitamin has all those in it I know it definitely has zinc but I'm gonna go check for the rest make sure they're in it 😂. You're completely right I just need to stop being so impatient haha

@Dex1521 just skim reading while making tea so sorry if I'm repeating advice, but I think regular exercise is a good idea too if you don't have a routine atm. I think one of the reasons I got pregnant so quickly was because I'd basically spent the summer on furlough cycling and at the allotment, so lots of exercise and sunshine. Can't really do much about the sunshine right now, but vit D might be good, they recommend it once you're pregnant anyway x

@GreenApplesYo yeah I don't really have an exercise routine at the moment. I might start again. I have a bike just collecting dust in the garage. Is cycling ok for female fertility I know they don't recommend it for men. For what I'd be doing it wouldn't be anything too intense just a cycle round the town maybe 2-2.5miles. Used to go out nearly everyday during the first lockdown and have just got out of the way of it.

Also @Dex1521 looking back, I just realised you said you only had your withdrawal bleed at the start of December? I think the consensus is that the 'cycle' between withdrawal bleed and first natural AF doesn't count as cycle #1 (correct me if it wrong grads!) so technically speaking this is only your first true cycle.

In which case I think it's great that you're getting such amazing charts and OPKs so soon after the pill 🙌 Don't stress as it's all going in the right direction!

Having said all that, there's still hope in the next few days. You're def not out until AF! And could still a positive test in the next few days anyway 🤞

@Dex1521 it's fine for women. The problem for men is spending too long squishing their balls haha. The important bits are all tucked up inside for women. Even with men it's only a worry if they are spending hrs and hrs on the bike. I miss cycling, I haven't done any since I got the BFP. I'm kind of accident prone (one time I went over my handlebars because I was distracted by looking at a church) so have been worried I might fall off/get knocked off and harm the baby. Maybe some online exercise classes/YouTube videos would be good as well if you're into that? I keep thinking I should find something like that for rainy lockdown days, never used them before though.

By the way, I was wondering if any of the grads are taking omega3? Or any of the gang really 🙂 I am trying to get it through diet, but I was wondering about a suppliment as my intake is hit and miss. Any recommendations would be good 🙂 I read you shouldn't have cod liver oil because of the high vit A content? I am still taking pregnacare too, but planning to ask midwife what she recommends when I speak to her next week.

@Emmgrem yeah you're right I need to keep reminding myself that. I keep thinking because I stopped the pill mid October I've been "trying" since October but that's not the case technically. I always get like this when AF is close it must be the hormones 😂

@GreenApplesYo yeah I thought that was the case for men, might try some YouTube videos too I'll start with something easy haha better dig the good sports bra out now lol and going to eat more Mediterranean based meals too
