@DrS44 I am not surprised the novelty wears off fast!

With my first I was for some reason expecting it to take a really long time to get pregnant (we had been using the FAM method (temping and condoms during ovulation) to avoid getting pregnant for about 3 years so I assumed we just weren't very fertile rather than possibly being very good at not getting pregnant or very lucky.

Needless to say we were unreasonably shocked.

I'm feeling slightly sicky this morning but I think it's probably my multi vitamin.

It's going to be a very long week. Period is due Monday but I think I will crack and test at the weekend.

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 10:27

Thansk ladies. I'm close but it feels its stalled now and not getting any lighter!! But I'm so close

@GreenApplesYo yeah if it's high enough it will stop you ovulating or having a period. It would stay high if there was leftover tissue which would mean more treatment/surgery!

Over the weekend I was ridiculously horny the whole time and had some EWCM so my body definitely wants to ovulate, I think my tests will stop it though. I'm gonna test again Friday and if its still positive I might ask my GP for a blood test to measure levels. Such a long drawn our journey, its been a month on Thursday since I found out about the miscarriage! Xx

Oh yes @AMS19 it's very light - but def still there. Think that's a good idea re: asking for bloods on Friday if it's still there as he said to wait 4 weeks didn't he? So that will definitely be past the timeframe he recommended.

It's so weird wishing for a BFN for you but I just want you to be able to start again. Hopefully not long at all now 🍀

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 11:01

@CardioQueen yeah not quite a squinter but definitely light. I'm actually only 2 weeks 4 days post mva 😂😂 so definitely early days. Friday I'll be over 3 weeks past op so think my gp might be more inclined for me to have the tests. EPU won't bat an eyelid until I get to 4 weeks. But I'm a POAS addict so obviously not gonna wait that long!

CardioQueen · 19/01/2021 11:10

Oh yes sorry @AMS19 I was getting confused with your scan date when you found out. Yes ok so I think actually it's looking pretty good for 2 and a half weeks post mva! And yes would be good if gp will send you for bloods. My gp loves sending me for bloods, it's like her first port of call for everything.

Bells20 · 19/01/2021 11:17

@AMS19 I can't imagine how frustrating this is for you, feels so unusual to be really hoping that someone gets a BFN! But I really hope you get one soon! Blood tests sound like a good idea!

@Dex1521 I didn't get a BFP until 10dpo and even then it was a real squinter so there's still time, defo use an FRER tomorrow/ when you test as the clear blue ones are good but slightly less sensitive I think. Charts looking good!

@Panda368 fingers crossed for the rest of your TWW! I often feel queasy if I take my vitamins on an empty stomach in the morning, and actually then saw the box said should be taken with food haha so if you're not already maybe try eating something when you take them?

@strangerontheinternet congratulations lovely! 💛💛

@Emmgrem totally agree with you about people who don't have the option of private scans, makes me feel very lucky to be in a position to have them but so many aren't as you say!

@positivitytree2020 I was just going to ask what CD you were but then saw you did actually post.. hopefully that opk peak is just a few short days away!

@DrS44 I reckon that'll be enough of a temp shift to confirm if they stay slightly higher the next couple of days! 🤞🤞🤞also the comment about being on womb watch made me lol, I'm defo still on womb watch myself.

@Foxl2222 hopefully it'll be fine over your way.. when they send your appt letter for 12 week scan they'll make it clear whether you can bring a partner or not.

I'm feeling a lot of optimism at the moment, really feeling like there's a few more BFP's to be had this month!

Bells20 · 19/01/2021 11:20

@CardioQueen haha really relate to your comment about GP sending you for bloods, I've had 4 blood tests since finding out I was pregnant so far, probably more than I've had in the last few years combined!

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 11:36

@Bells20 @CardioQueen honestly it is so strange praying for a negative. But I so want to move on and not worry about it. I'm not tracking anything this cycle and only gonna start tracking from after my first proper period. Most people seem to get their first period 4-5 weeks after procedure so probably still a while away from my first cycle. This is like being post pill again!

Dex1521 · 19/01/2021 11:55

@Bells20 that's good to hear I'm definitely a serial tester 😂. My dull faint cramps feeling from last night/this morning have gone now and feeling fine again.

My OH was out on site this morning so when he got back he'd brought me a mint areo brownie (my fav) and I sniffed it and the smell I had to run to the toilet as it made me gag so badly I thought I was gonna puke 🤢 didn't thankfully but I've never been like before especially when it comes to brownies and never been like it in the tww!

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 12:01

Oooooh @Dex1521 this is super exciting. What DPO are you?

Dex1521 · 19/01/2021 12:14

@AMS19 I'm 9dpo today so I'm hoping the crampy feeling I've had could've been implantation 🤞with regards to the gaging I'll be annoying it I'm not pg this month as I want that brownie so badly 😂

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 12:17

@dex1521 I had dry gagging every single morning in my pregnancy! Without fail. Was actually only physically sick twice, it was always gagging. When out asda shop got delivered one Saturday I started gagging at it all 😂😂😂 eeeeek I have everything crossed. We need to all end 2021 with either babies or heavily pregnant!!

PowerOfFlowers · 19/01/2021 12:31

@Dex1521 @AMS19 I second the gagging. Plain tap water made me gag. Haven't actually puked once though.

Dex1521 · 19/01/2021 12:34

@PowerOfFlowers I'm just about to eat my lunch which is leftover lasagna but seems ok dunno what happened to me with the brownie. I also have like this beating feeling in my uterus as if I feel my heartbeat down there 😂 what is going on with me today. Today's the worst I've felt this whole tww even though I still feel ok definitely had the most symptoms today

PowerOfFlowers · 19/01/2021 12:55

@Dex1521 ooh leftover lasagne sounds lush! So easy to overthink the symptoms in your tww. One thing I had was the feeling like I was about to come on, but nothing was there. And two days before my bfp, I was awake at 4pm. Your bbt looks good today! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you!

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 12:55

@PowerOfFlowers yeah I couldn't drink water at all. Could only drink squash. I cant believe I got through the worst part of the first trimester and have to start again 😂😂😂 this baby best be bloody worth the effort in the end! Im eating SO healthy now to make up for the 2 months of bland crap I ate. I miss yellow food 😂😂

PowerOfFlowers · 19/01/2021 12:58

Yes to the squash @AMS19 !! Today is the first day since finding out I'm drinking plain water, but with ice. I was paranoid yesterday that ribenna was turning my new clear braces a different colour 😂😂 (it doesn't).
I'm so rooting for you!! And yes, eat all the healthy food now whilst you still can because beige city is heading your way hopefully soon!!

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 13:06

Thanks @PowerOfFlowers I need all the fingers crossed and prayers I can get!! Xx

Bells20 · 19/01/2021 13:24

@Dex1521 9dpo was when I first twigged I could be pregnant because I tried to eat a satsuma and the smell of it made my gag. I love satsumas! Made my partner smell and taste it because I was convinced it was rotten! It was of course absolutely fine! Hopefully a good sign! Made me laugh about your uterus heartbeat, I had the same thing then realised it was my own heartbeat that I could feel in my fingertips from where I was pressing on my tummy 😂

@AMS19 that is just so shit to have to do the first trimester again.. I hope next time it's a total breeze for you!!

My partner keeps saying (all being well of course, were still very tentative and cautious until 12 week scan!) that our baby will come out looking like a chicken nugget and smelling of garlic sauce because that's all I've been eating 😂 so desperate for some fruit and veg but don't have the stomach for it at the moment.

Dex1521 · 19/01/2021 13:27

@Bells20 ahh all these signs I'm getting this tww that everyone else has gotten it's making me excited 😆 maybe my anatomy is all wrong and my hearts down there lol knowing my luck it would be 🤣

Honestly if my baby smelt like a chicken nugget I wouldn't be mad 😂

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 13:27

@Bells20 mcdonalds chicken nuggets were my life!! Every Friday was just another £4.99 snack share box!! Now I'm eating some colourful medderterranean diet and drinking 100% pomegranate juice. My body is probably all over the shot not knowing what the hell is going on 😂😂😂

Bells20 · 19/01/2021 13:42

@Dex1521 I don't want to get your hopes up too much of course because it's hardly an exact science but a lot of what you've described sounds really familiar.

@AMS19 dont get me started on McDonald's nugs 😂 I tried their katsu ones at the weekend and they went down a reeeeal treat haha.

AMS19 · 19/01/2021 13:52

😭😭😭😭😭

@Dex1521 at 9 days DPO you're about 2 says ahead of me and it all sounds positive for you!
Although obvs a favourite food knocking you sick is a definite down side.

How long have you been trying for?

Dex1521 · 19/01/2021 14:57

@Panda368 we are very close together then! Hopefully they are all good signs but if not I'm sure the brownie will be good in a few days time 😂

@AMS19 not a fan of prawns but that does look nice!
