@Bells20 I honestly feel like a maniac today 😂 you're probably all sick of seeing me posting every second but my emotions are currently everywhere. I showed my other half and he is still trying to remain calm (I've given up on that) but he had the biggest grin on his face after looking at the tests and could see it clear as day which days a lot as he never sees any of the lines I show him 😭🤣

@DrS44 thank you. I really hope this happens for you too I have everything crossed this is definitely a lucky group already 💖 is it a bit early to look up where I'm gonna give birth 🤣 Think we only have the memorial hospital lol maybe I'll wait until at least Monday and see if AF shows or not

@Dex1521 I know lots of people who choose Darlington! Other choice is Durham I would say? I believe they ask you this at your first appt and most people are like ammm what 🤣

@AMS19 😆😆 I read it as As f*ck anyways haha I never noticed them being the same actually haha. Hopefully a test tomorrow will be darker but feel more relaxed that it came up this afternoon too with lighter wee

@Dex1521 Ahhhhhhhh amazing!!!! Congrats! My test look similar to that and then went abit darker when I left it abit. See if I can find it on here for you. Or darlo. I picked Durham just because when I move house I’m only like 15 mins away. Where I live now though darlo is probably abit closer xx

@jessi60 thank you! I can't believe it I have about a million and 1 questions like it's unbelievable. Some I've googled already are Can I still drink tea and coffee? Is orange juice unsafe to drink when pregnant, how long do I need to keep testing for, when do I contact the GP, do I contact the GP first 😂 my head is going a million miles an hour atm

I've got a CB digital for how many weeks and one that just says pregnant/not pregnant. Should I use the how many weeks after AF is due or tomorrow morning hmmmmmmmmm

@Dex1521 I contacted my GP a few days after I missed AF, and bang on what I thought was 4 weeks. That's when they asked me which hospital. This is so very exciting for you but yes, I echo @jessi60 - this time also comes with its own anxieties and some 🤢 😂 Enjoy this feeling now 😀

@Dex1521 I drink shit tons of tea normally like a stupid amount! I just switched to decaf so still drink quite a lot. To be honest I don’t notice a taste difference, usually get Aldi’s decaf or Yorkshire tea decaf. And I still sometimes have a can of Coke Zero or something when I’m at work so it’s within the 200mg your allowed. If you don’t want to drink decaf though I’m sure you can still safely drink two cups of normal coffee a day which isn’t decaf.
No idea about orange juice, I’ve still been drinking it.

I waited a couple of weeks before I rang my gp, they wouldn’t do booking appointments until your like 7 weeks anyways. I’m only 8 weeks + 1 today but if I went off the date of my last period which is what your mean to do. I would be 11 weeks tomorrow so my dates were completely off 😂😂 so I clearly ovulated really late that cycle. I did the clear blue digital the next day, but then my line was quite clear on a first response but it wasn’t a rapid one. So maybe wait like another couple of days for that one. Then whatever it says like 1-2 weeks, 2-3 weeks or 3+ you add two weeks on. I must of found out super early because I got 1-2 weeks. Xxx

@jessi60 you're like a fountain of knowledge I love it 😂 I'm gonna just have a cup of coffee a day and maybe switch fo orange juice on a morning haha I didn't even think about caffeine in coke haha usually don't drink it though unless I'm out somewhere and buy a bottle but I don't go anywhere now obvs so that'll be ok 😂 I'll maybe give it a week before contacting GP just to make sure my AF isn't late or playing tricks on me 🤣

Also what are the chances/signs of an ectopic and chemical pregnancy. I've always heard them mentioned but now I'm gonna have to search them myself haha I've so much to learn it's unbelievable

@Dex1521 Yeah your fine drinking one normal. And if you want more then switch to decaf. Yeah think cans of fizzy pop are like 40mg. So still safe to have a few if you really wanted lol.

Yeah just give it a while longer maybe. I’m sure you’ll be fine. I have no idea about statistics, I tried not to look. I worry enough as it is 🤣 I’m still shitting myself because I have zero symptoms. I did have sore boobs but now that’s gone. So feel constantly on edge lol.

Haha @Dex1521 I can relate to all the questions. I was in the office the day I got my BFP and honestly did to and just googled various things 😂 I had to choose where I wanted to give birth when I told me GP so I was less than 4 weeks! Feels totally mad to think about it so soon doesn't it!

Think the lovely @jessi60 has given you a comprehensive answer to your questions there! You will google everything you eat now though 😂and remember you can have runny eggs now as long as they have the lion mark on them!

Re: testing, the very wise @AMS19 said don't test past 6 weeks because the lines can start getting fainter which is normal but it's scary. I made sure to stop at 6 weeks for that reason!

@Bells20 thank you for that! I think after my AF is due I'll not have many tests left so will just use them up then stop at 6 weeks too. It's mind blowing thinking about where I'll be giving birth this early. Just trying to relax and hope and pray af doesn't show that's when the OH says he'll get excited once the line is strong and my period date has passed haha

I literally had a runny poached egg for breakfast and started to panic already I'm gonna be a mess if this is what I'm like for 9 months

@Dex1521 running egg is totally fine if it has the red lion stamp. Also remember most normal people unlike us dont even know they're pregnant until after they miss a period! You're totally fine don't worry xx

Hey @Dex1521 Ectopic would be pain on one side, spotting, pain in your shoulder. I think pain on just 1 side is quite common though. @jessi60 @ams19 and I all had this and were fine, so if you have this it isn't reason to panic, as it's probably just ligaments stretching or something like that. I think the chance of ectopic is low.

I also had what felt like mild period pains in wk5. Just in case you have them 🙂 it's normal but feels disconcertingly like AF.

Do you think you will have an early scan? If you've thought that far in advance. And if they're open atm with covid. I was reluctant at first because I am trying to save money, but went for it in the end and was glad I did. My DP said he was glad we went as well, as the wait for the 12wk scan is loooonnng! (Welcome to the longest 12wks of your life hehe).

@jessi60 it really worried me when my sickness seemed to vanish almost overnight, but it was all fine. I don't think symptoms really mean that much? Must be weird if you're waiting for them to happen though. Hope you're getting plenty of rest between shifts by the way 🙂must be exhausting.
