Newbie TTC 2021 club!

Hi girls - looking for a little crew to share the ttc journey with - we are newbies this year - decided on Jan 31st to start trying after 12 years together! but had literally just missed my ovulation day for that cycle, so even though we had some fun over NY we are properly starting next cycle around the end of the month - just have to wait to finish this cycle now, and I've never wanted a period to come so quickly haha!

So - any cycle sisters out there who will be trying with me on or around end of Jan? I'm Cd21 right now.

And feel free to share stories and ages!

I'm 34 and have been off the pill for about 2 years now - we don't really use protection just pull out lol and never had a scare so I'm a little worried we could have a bit of a long journey. Although my mum conceived me first time trying so I'm praying it's in the genetics lol!

Not sure about you but I'm already getting obsessed which seems to be pretty normal lol but it would be good to have some pals to talk to rather than my cat or my husband, who I think I could quite quickly freak out if he knew just how many mum'snet threads I've read!

Also... What are you most looking forward to being pregnant?

@Wondergirl1111 well I was up at 5:30 for work so just said I was in a hurry for work so I didn't test. Not sure how tomorrow will go🤣
Mild cramps, slight pain in right side and a bloated feeling as if my stomachs hard! Other way to describe the pains as it jeans of trousers are way to tight and it hurts🤣 was very uncomfortable, just weird. I kinda had it last month but don't think I paid attention to it. I dont have it all day but just at times I can feel pulling🤷🏻‍♀️ still eating and not feeling sick so who knows. Everytime I tell my OH he says ohhh maybe this time, he's just so excited for it.

@Aims1991 interesting! Mine feels like very mild period pains... But I do think its strange to feel them 10 days before and due.
Feels like a slight poking from the inside at the lower front wall of my uterus but a couple of days ago felt it at the sides.
The other weird thing I felt at 5dpo was like a fluttering or a nerve twitch where I now feel dull poking pain on lower front wall of uterus.

But is it all just in my head?! Lol!

Fingers crossed yours leads to a BFP - sweet your OH is excited - mine seems like he barely cares - hasn't even asked when we will test - some of them are just so oblivious - we just DTD like 10 million times in 5 days and he doesn't even wonder what happens next lol!
I'd like to be that oblivious right now instead of symptom spotting like a maniac and wishing my life away to be 14dpo! X

@Wondergirl1111 No defo not In your head. But I've been wondering if I've always had these pains and never noticed because I've not been TTC!
Yeah my OH acts casual but if I say I don't feel great he's get a bit excited saying take a test! I try not to take them infront of him coz I want to be able to surprise him when it does happen!

@Wondergirl1111 Another thing I've noticed is my hips are slightly wider! And reason I know this is because of my work trousers! I weighed myself and I'm the same but my hips defo looks different 🤣🤣

@Wondergirl1111 I'm on day 9 just now. If I can hold out to next week before testing I will be pleased🤣

@Aims1991 I believe in you!!!! That's a good solid date to aim for and hopefully next week you, me and a few others in their tww here will be sitting at home on a Saturday night in lockdown googling pregnancy stuff with a BFP next to us rather than bloody dpo symptoms! X

Woke up this morning with the sorest boobs ever! But I always get sore boobs before AF is due🙄

Can’t believe I’m writing this.. no AF yet...

Decided to take a early detection first response... very faint positive!!!

Rushed to my mums to show her... well throw the test at her in a socially distanced way... she could see it too!!!! Don’t want to tell my OH until I’m sure!

I have so much hope, but also not expecting this at all! Has this happened to anyone else before? How likely is a faint line going to turn out to be BFP?!!

Still feel as though my period is going to come though :( xxx

@Ze123 Oh that's brill, I would do another tomorrow or today, I'm not patient enough so I would keep testing 🤣

8/9 DPO!

It was very faint and I do have quite a lot of white/mucus CM sorry for the TMI.. achy pelvis and period type cramps but feel a bit sick and although hungry don’t have much appetite!

@Ze123 congratulations 🥳 this is so exciting! Lots of CM is a really good sign 💕 fingers crossed the line keeps getting darker and it's a nice sticky bean! Eeek!

@HaresHoping Thank you! I’m starting to think it’s a evaporation line! :( really trying not to get my hopes up! It’s literally my first time trying this month so I know it’s highly unlikely!

@Ze123 oh bless you, must be stressful. Crossing everything for you. Have you got anything you can do to take your mind off things... a good box set maybe? Sending lots of baby dust your way x

@ze123 don't worry, it's a faint line! That's fantastic news! It's still very early so faint would be totally normal, and keep testing to see it get darker! just rest, get snuggly!

Can you send us a pic of the line?

I'm 8dpo and just caved and did a 6 days early response clear blue test (I'm 6 days away from my period according to NC)... BFN.
Weirdly I feel like a few early tests are going to keep my expectations in place - I know if I leave it until later I'll have my hopes up and be really disappointed but I kind of expected it.

This wait is like a lifetime x

Yes so so early I just did a clear blue one too a very faint line.. but literally so faint even the camera couldn’t pick it up! I could see it with the naked eye! Here is the first response test from first wee this morning it’s so faint! So please feel free to comment, it’s a lot more visual not through a phone!

I have popped the brightness down just to make it a little bit easier to see!

Yes! My mum said she could see it too..and as much as she’d love to be over the moon she was the one that told me to hold fire until it’s been a few days to get excited! So we will see’ hoping it gets darker and clearer! Xx

@Ze123 compared to a lot of faint lines posted on mumsnet that one is really really clear to me! Congratulations (tentatively) - do test again tomorrow but I really have high hopes for you 😊
