AF after coming off desogestrel

How long did it take for AF to return after coming off of desogestrel?
This will be six weeks now - it's driving me crazy! Is this normal? I know they say it can take up to 3 months but surely my body knows the hormones aren't going in every day?
I've gone through bloating, sore nipples thinking, surely this must be it now... Then.... Nothing!
Please tell me this is normal?!

I definitely think lockdowns and the way the world is is causing so many issues for our health and wellbeing. Maybe we just need to be more patient ( I know I'm going stir crazy! 😩). But that's easier said than done! 😩 X

@glow92 bless you hun! I know the feeling and it’s so hard not to! Just do what you feels right. How many days post ovulation are you?

When I got my BFP with #1 I tested the day before my period was due x

@Gigi1109 I'm only 8 so feel a bit silly really!
I know there's still time, but just got the feeling it's a no for me this month.

@glow92 you never know. Everyone is different! But just remember it’s your first month, if you catch then wow that’s amazing and if not, it’s sad I totally understand but onto the next 💪🏻 I think for me when it got to 6 months of TTC that’s when I started getting a bit upset but 17 months later and I had that BFP.
I’m officially off AF now so let’s hope we both have some success x

Been following this thread with interest as I came off desogestrel on 1st Jan.. I was fully prepared for mine to potentially take a while to come back having read the comments of it taking months, but AF surprised me and arrived this morning, 28 days on!

Literally have never been so excited to get my period haha, as it means DP and I can start our TTC journey next month

AF arrived for me this morning 🥳 it’s classed my last cycle as 21days, but that was counted from my last “period” that was a few days of spotting about a week after my withdrawal bleed 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nope, I’m not going to bother with that until maybe next month or the month after. We’re literally weeks away from moving so for a lot going on at the mo! 😬

No AF for me yet! It's 2 months since my last pill next Saturday. My right nip is getting a little tender again so maybe this is a sign... 🤞Or it could just be in my head 🤣

I’m on CD23 thought I’d ovulated on CD12 but I recently bought some ovulation test strips and I’ve had 2 days of positives which is strange so late in my cycle! Just going to see what happens 😂 x

@gigi1109 thank you so much! It took about 3 weeks from coming off the pill in Dec. Obvs the OH having the Covid vaccine meaning we had to pause from 29th Dec so already around 8/9 weeks! 😳
