Hi all,

So I'm actually strangely calm about the TWW at the moment, which is unusual for me!

We had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago and since then I really try not to symptom spot as I try and protect myself from disappointment.. but I thought it might be nice to follow each others journeys during the TWW and keep each other motivated and positive!

So here's my story:

-TTC for 7 months, first baby!👼

  • had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago💔

Currently 6 DPO:

  • cramping in lower stomach; AF type pains
  • constipated like MAD 😬😳
  • boobs are very tender (especially areola's and nipples)
  • very veiny boobs!
  • I actually woke myself up from a deep sleep last night as I was dizzy?! How does that even happen 🙃🤣

@Rice1992 discharge is the cm that travels out. You usually dry up and have no cm or discharge in the week/few days leading up to your period. You cm will become dry and sticky like glue and no discharge if you haven't conceived. If you have conceived you should be getting plenty of discharge and cm. I heard it's not 100% reliable (no symptom spotting ever is!) but it's been reliable for me so far.

printedlace · 19/12/2020 10:45

Oh exciting! I've got plenty of wet watery discharge. I'm sure I'm usually
Completely dry leading up to AF 🤔

@printedlace that's such a good sign!! Grin fingers and toes crossed that all these bfn was just because you were testing too early!! Xxx

printedlace · 19/12/2020 10:49

@Hayes178 I really hope so. I just don't know what to think! Xx

Rice1992 · 19/12/2020 11:05

@Hayes178 ah ok gotcha, thank you! I have had some discharge the last couple of days and thought that might be a bad thing, so I’m guessing now it might not be. My cycles have either been 30 or 32 days for the last few months though, so technically could still be a week to go so I’ll just see what happens over the next few days.

It’s so hard not to lose hope in the TWW isn’t it 🙁 Keep us updated x

WicketBasket · 19/12/2020 11:40

Ooh sounds exciting @printedlace if you’re having good amounts of discharge. I’m unfortunately very dry now which I guess isn’t great Confused Ah well! Xx

printedlace · 19/12/2020 11:46

@WicketBasket seems I'm drying up a bit now too 😭😩 so heartbreaking having to look for symptoms I hate it!
Xx

Oh hun, I know exactly what you mean @printedlace! I’ve been having a Google (bad idea I know Blush) but apparently lots of women had no cm and got their BFP? Basically I don’t know and I’m going mad 😂😂 I mean I’m officially trying to work out if a lack of symptoms can count as symptoms (like no breast pain or changes etc). Isn’t that silly?
When are you due AF? Xxx

printedlace · 19/12/2020 12:11

@WicketBasket ahh it's torture isn't it! No matter what you search it's a pregnancy symptom! 🙈😅 I have searched so much! Xx

I'm due on Tuesday!

OP posts:
WicketBasket · 19/12/2020 13:53

Torture is the right word @printedlace 😂😂

Ooh Tuesday is not far off at all!! I’m not due until Friday or possibly next Monday (who even knows) so I still have time to obsess and drive myself crazy Grin xx

printedlace · 19/12/2020 13:55

@WicketBasket no not too long for me to wait now! I always catch myself feeling super down at this stage of the TWW. Reflecting on previous months etc. I literally don't think I could have done more this month. That's the heartbreaking part! 😬 I've pretty much accepted that this isn't the month. Nothing but BFN's so far, not even a glimpse of a line.

Got my fingers so tightly crossed for you @WicketBasket♥️♥️

Slight increase in cervical mucus. Still what I would class as dry but slight more 'wet' mucus on it and (really sorry a lot of tmi) a little blob of wet cm on the tip of my finger.

I've been so emotional. It's just taking too long, I'm starting to think that I'm never going to conceive again. I tried for a long time straight away after my first daughter with my ex partner because we both wanted a small age gap. Nothing happened and then1.5 years later we split up. We were trying the whole time (apart from the last few months where the relationship started to unexpectedly deteriorate). I'm now with dp and we've been trying for 10 months and nothings happened. I'm starting to think that my first daughter is a miracle baby 😓

Hayes178 · 19/12/2020 15:28

Sorry for the rant, just feeling a bit deflated and emotional! Needed to get it off my chest. I've been so moody with my poor fiancé. He says he understands but i feel like such a cow because he's also going through it and he's being the backbone holding us together on top of it all and taking my shit :(

printedlace · 19/12/2020 15:43

@Hayes178 I can really relate; apart from the fact that I don't have any children at the moment.
I am so sorry it's so hard. It's so crap! I'm feeling exactly the same. Word for word. I could have written that myself. My poor fiancé is taking all my mood swings like a trooper but I feel so bad.
Stomach cramping is still going on, no AF and barely any CM now, either.
Feeling so deflated.

Hayes178 · 19/12/2020 17:31

@printedlace It's so horrible, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! It's the most deflating thing in the world, especially when you have your heart set on it. I hope we both manage to conceive very soon 🤞sending hugs and baby dust xx

Sending lots of positive vibes tonight ladies - I think everyone needs it today, for so many reasons 💕

Try to remember there are other options if it comes to it and people out there to help. And even from only being on this group for a short amount time, you’re definitely not alone with your journeys and we have the support from one another xx

Twiggywinkle13 · 19/12/2020 20:18

Good evening everyone, I wonder if anyone can shed some light - I’ve tested and BFN. I am 2 days late for my period. I ovulated a day late so I guess it could be that, could it? I’m 13 dpo today, I had very, very slight spotting at 12dpo but then absolutely nothing. Does anyone have any idea? I’ve attached the track of the ovulation tests, I’ve kept doing them as it’s my first month using this brand.

Any help greatly appreciated!

🙈🤣 Who wants to symptom spot with me.. 🙈🤣
Twiggywinkle13 · 19/12/2020 20:19

Sorry, I meant to add you’ll see my LH randomly went up at 10/11 dpo Not sure that means anything!

printedlace · 19/12/2020 20:23

@Hayes178 hugs and baby dust to you, too! I keep having to go into the spare room to put washing away - it's literally sat there empty waiting for the day we can begin to buy nursery furniture! It just feels like a kick in the teeth each time I have to go in there! Xx

printedlace · 19/12/2020 20:24

@Rice1992 lots of love to you, too! It's been a tough year all around hasn't it! 😬😢 xx

printedlace · 19/12/2020 20:25

@Twiggywinkle13 I wonder perhaps if you have had late implantation! If you had spotting I think that's a good sign of implantation 🥰

OP posts:
Twiggywinkle13 · 19/12/2020 20:45

Oh fingers crossed I hope so!!

Sending lots of love and hugs to you all - I’ll come back and update you.

It’s a crappy game this ttc business

printedlace · 19/12/2020 20:47

@Twiggywinkle13 love and baby dust to you, too!
Yes, the TWW is horrible! I feel so desperately helpless. Just trying to watch the days tick by. I keep trying to remind myself that this is no way to live; but I just want to know either way! Xx

OP posts:
Twiggywinkle13 · 19/12/2020 20:52

Isn’t it! I’m like you, I’d rather just know either way than be late but still not know! Typically the one month I was actually ok with a BFN (we had started to plan a trip to France when we can and rules relax) and this is the month it’s dragging in and I’m no clearer either way!! Please keep us updated on your progress too xx

Rice1992 · 19/12/2020 21:25

@Twiggywinkle13 I swear from the people I know when they stop thinking about and focus on other things, it normally happens! My neighbour bought a Audi TT because she wanted to treat herself after trying for years, and then a few months later it happened for them! Safe to say that isn’t a family car so was swiftly changed!

Fingers crossed for you and the other ladies on here 🤞🏻 x
